😅it’s alright it was pretty secure
I learned acouple things doing mine, the top bolt from turbo to cat is horrible to get to with almost no access, the other 2 are easily gotten to under the car, get replacement cat to Downpipe bolts before you start you’ll need them, I did my o2 sensors after removing the cat
I hope you will get this but hope did y’all get the header heat shield off bc that the one thing that blocking me from picking on my downpipe

Good vid. Now I have an idea of what sort of task I am taking on, when I will be doing this soon. Also good thing you mentioned changing the gaskets. I heard about that couple that died and It made me a little nervous about installing a de-cat on my own car.
Yeah their decat wasn’t installed correctly which is essential for you to install a new fire ring and leave it to professionals 😁🤙🏽
@@Marzaezone Finally installed it on my car. Your video was an amazing help. I never really understood what you meant with the heat shield though. I ended up taking off the turbo heat shield, but never got it out of the engine bay. (I actually had to cut the lower part of it off, as the bolt there was rounded as soon as I turned the wrench on it) Then I just had to unscrew the cat's heat shield after I had taken the downpipe off of the turbo, to yank it out between the floor and the front bridge (sorry if I get terminology mixed up. danish and english technical terms aren't always directly translatable haha)
The entire thing took me 12 hours and I even had it on a lift. Good thing I am not a professional and only mess with this stuff for fun and to learn haha
How the hell he get that heat shield off I've tried everything those pipes are stopping it coming off I'm gona fold it in half in a minute lol 😆
Man i broke my 3 studs too, in the exact same place on the Turbo. It's a big pain in the ass.
did you put heat shield back on had to break mine off
just done mine today, absolute ballache of a job wouldn’t recommend doing it on a drive haha

Never go under a vehicle with just a jack! Always use axle stands.

Quick question, do you reuse the heat shield then? I think mine got disposed when I got my sports cat as the sports cat came with one 🙄
Now I wanna go decat (as the sports cat is Fubar) and I don't have a heat shield
Yeah I reused the heat shield for the manifold and turbo 🤝
