Fiskars is the number one brand in my opinion there tools can go through a lot I have loopers a saw and I plan on getting this for our forest
It was a noted in another video that there's a small raised bubble or indentation when you attach the blade. Make sure it's in one of the small holes across from the wing nut. It helps to hold the blade in place so it doesn't move.

Very useful, easy to use, light, simple in assembly, I got rid of three big branches of a huge tree without hiring anyone. And I think I lost weight in the process 😅. I bought it in Costco
Recently I purchased Fiscal 16 foot pruner and I am very satisfied
I believe the 16 foot version was recalled. Be safe friend.
This pruner works very well. I have only used it so far on less than 1-1/2" diameter limbs. However I found the actuating cable to be a clumsy interference, easily tangled around leg and arm and the wrong side of the tool. This could be solved by running the cable down the middle of the extension and handle tubes.

I just used mine for the first time. I did not need to extend yet so that cord was just crazy! I got velcro straps around it which helped i had to tug on the rope, not the handle. I wish there was a way to clamp the pull handle where i need it. I also found the saw was a real pain when trying to prune. I wish it could be folded out of the way until i am ready...if it folded, it would be safer, too. It is heavy for me, and i lost my control, chopped a lovely plant in half! I am really having trouble with the saw sticking. Ideas welcome.

The wing nut won't come off of our saw. We had one before and the nut broke. We sent it back and this one is also fused shut.

If you are thinking about getting a pole saw then your search is over! Buy this! You’ll thank me later! I deer hunt all the time and I trim limbs for shooting lanes. So much safer than a ladder and faster! Also trim tree limbs around the house. Thank you so so much for an amazing product!!! God bless

What I wonder about are those other holes that allow the blade to sit at different angles. Maybe if I am up in a tree and am cutting below me?

How do you stop the pole from slipping when cutting branches with the blade? No matter if the device is locked , it still

there's two holes on the saw the blade. there should be a raised circular dowel looking thing on the pole. so the hole closest to the edge of the blade goes over that thing and machine bolt and wingut goes through the other hole. i needed an extra washer to fasten mine or else i could feel the blade rock back and forth
Someone at another site complain about the constant resetting of the item after they cut. What does that mean??

I had to use a tool to tighten blade. No luck with just hand as in video
I needed to put WD-40 on it to get it loose so I could fully tighten
The wingnut and the screw don't exactly match in the product I bought when I try to attach the saw. The wingnut doesn't close . What size should I be looking for?

Odd that they do not have guide eywlets like a fishing pole for the rope, and some way of taking up the excess insixe the pole or with a wrap handle like a kite handle with cleats to hold everything in place. It would be so simple.
If anyone has any good after-market solutions, post links.
FYI The orange pole is 4.5" circumference, and the black marine-like nylon rope is just under 1/4" diam. when relaxed.

what is a good method to store the rope to the pole after use so it stays out of the way other than wrapping it around the pole a bunch of times which is to time consuming to wrap and unwrap?

I just bought this. I am unable to extend the pole even after doing exactly what is done in the video. Pole won't budge. What should I do?

@@rickybrown2446 I guess it turns out to need some strength to loosen it. I started using it without extending it, and then it extended on its own from the pulling, and then it was loosened enough to work.
Just got one. You have to pull it out really hard to get it to extend.

This is my favorite tree saw, but it has been recalled recently. Does anybody know the details of what caused this recall and is the saw safe to use at all.
Recall is for the ones with the double lock. One if the locks can fail and cause the blade portion to fall off

@@locksmithmuggle after 3 months it's dull? It has no instructions for sharpening the blade and has a "lifetime" warranty w/o mentioning blade maintenance in any of the materials... their problem.

My blade will not start a cut -- only grabs the surface and cannot saw - pruner action useful for half inch branches- cutting blade is worthless! Wish I never bought it! Find it hard to believe no one is mentioning the problem that I have experienced!
Blade saws as you pull it towards you. not as you push it. Its not like a saw. Pull to cut then ease off when you push.

An absolute joke of a pole saw.... better suited for barbie and her malibu friends..... bought yesterday and getting returned tonight.... rope broke 30 min in... after I got tired of dealing with the flimsy blade that was struggling to cut through a 1 inch diameter branch.... when my rusted and 10 yr old corona was having no issues taking on a 5 inch diameter limb..... bad design on the blade attachment.... and the rope is subpar at best..... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
