It's nice to see a blast style drummer using his left foot to count eighth notes on the hi hat. Normally you just see these guys with their left foot super glued to the left bass drum pedal and the hi hat is pretty much something that they just whack on... for me it's about the little things. Nice drumming dude!
I played a show with josh back in the day when he was drumming in black friday when he was only 14, he was amazing then, so awesome to see how far he has come! Keep it up Josh!

Great technique. From a technical standpoint Mark Castillo was probably the best drummer Emmure ever had but he really failed to do anything to make the music of Emmure any more interesting. This should have always been what Emmure is and I hope it always is. I was about done with this band. They never were too good in general but would strike gold every now and then once they got past their first 3 joke albums. Then Josh Travis fuckin steps in and turns Emmure from guilty pleasure to GOOD BAND. Make it work with these guys Frank! Danza 5 or any new Glass Cloud will most likely never happen cuz some bad ass musicians chose you. Make it work! I cant wait to hear album #2 from this lineup.
