My ceremony rig can be carried in two hands pretty much. Works like a charm!!!! @@FlatEarthSovereign The link is in the description of the video. It is actually 2 difference cables, a male end and a female end that make one cohesive cable. Click on both links there.
Is there any reason I couldn’t power a Roland keyboard from the DC Power port? Both my FP30 and newer FP30x have the same size socket as the everse and you can buy a cable very cheaply online. Would really appreciate expert advice on this though.
Cheers Joe, does the tray and receiver unit fit attached in the bag, so it can be added permanently? Because if it doesn't then the bag is pointless. Thanks
Awesome video! Just got my set yesterday. Do the tote bags come with a divider that goes inside where the two Velcro strip are sewn into the bag? Thanks again for sharing
@@DJJoeBunn i finally got to the bottom of it. Only the bluetooth channel 3/4 is shared between the two speakers wirelessly. In order to get your mic or instrument to both. You have to run an xlr from the mix out of one to the other:/.
Hey Joe! I bought the everse a couple of weeks ago and i'm actually having some troubles with the 12v port...i'm trying to turn 2 pedals on with the 12v port, but they have the 9v voltage...so i bought a 12v to 9v converter, but the male doesn't match the everse port...it seems it has an specific mm size and i dont know if i can find a cable that fits...
Can you DC out two wireless mic units? Like is there a dc Y cable for two? I use wireless Handhelds and lapels. Also how would you control volumes I may get one!
I was able to power one sennheiser EW- 100 G4 but having probs getting good quality sound with my Lavalier mic. Feedback issues but still trying different settings. Anybody really good a this?
Have you tried to a send the mic signal from the connected speaker to a separate one that is linked wirelessly? I have only been able to send the Bluetooth signal through and not the mic. Hoping it’s possible but not sure it is
You’ll have to use a transmitter and receiver in order to be able to do that. Using Bluetooth for the microphone be very difficult because it will sound like an echo because it will have a delay. listening to your self speaking is very difficult I tried it once during a sound check and immediately change to wireless transmitter and receivers instead.
Good video! Like that tray, even more, the power output! Brilliant. If both the mic and speaker are being used, at the same time, how much does that affect battery life vs not having the mic receiver plugged in?
You have to disconnect the tray from the speaker in order to zip the hood of the everse 8 case. There is, however, enough room to place your receiver, and the tray on the side.
@@downtownsoundentertainment3508 So they didn't actually think of everything with this speaker/bag. If the bag only fit the tray and receiver it would simplify the setup that much more!
I hit NLFX up when it first came out and they were going to test it with all of the mic receivers. I too use the BLX system and inquired about it. Even if the one that comes with the kit doesn’t work, they can make you one that is compatible.
@Scott Johnson they can, but they won't right now. I emailed NLFX and they said they are backed up with existing orders and aren't taking any new ones.
@Scott Johnson however funny story, if you ever bought an ECOFLOW power bank, one of the accessories that came with it was a dc to dc plug that is a perfect fit. I got lucky and found mine. Don't bother hitting up ecoflow for one tho, they are sold out of them. They were selling it for $50 if you bought it by itself. Not worth the price if you ask me!!!
@DJ Joe Bunn yea but after messaging him, he says they aren't taking new orders right now. I found a solution thru Amazon for my application anyways. Also just to note, the cable provided in the kit which I finally received, does fit my shure receiver.
Hi ! Yesterday I received a package with a new Everse 8 battery. I shot a 7-minute video about the EV Electro-Voice backup battery for Everse 8: unpacking and charging the new battery for the first time. Why do the instructions say about 24 hours if the speaker display showed FULL after 2 hours and 22 minutes and turned off? Of course, I didn't disconnect from 220 volts anyway, but what does it change if the BMS board turns off all electric currents when the battery is fully charged? ruclips.net/video/r7o5AcCujIw/видео.html
Hey George - do you have standby mode enabled (ships that way from the factory for eco rating purposes). Speaker shuts itself off after a period of time without receiving any audio signal. Sounds like that is probably the issue here...

I'm no expert. Not sure on that one.
Can this be used to power a dual wireless mic system? Guess as long as the DC out supports it??
Dual? Not sure. But it was def built to power mics. Just make sure you have the right cable.

Sill need to get the power cable that goes from the mic to the speaker. But I’m loving the sound quality. Small and light and packs a punch!

Yes

I wouldn't think so as the power output wouldn't be strong enough for two units, but if you use a dual receiver it should work in theory.
