WOW! My daughter and the singer played ice hockey together and she sang really well then but this--this is really amazing. All the musicians were bang on but I really have to give props to the vocalist...she sings like she plays hockey, GREAT!!!!! Well done to all of you on this; such a pleasure to see young talent like this be supported by such and outstanding organization. Keep up the excellent work!

I want to say first that I really like these kids myself. However, you don't have to like it just because it was made by kids.

Excellent cover, these kids are all very talented and should be proud. Special mention to the singer, Maynard is not an easy vocalist to cover as he has so many intricacies to his voice, but she’s successfully put her own take on the song whilst still being faithful to the original. Great work.

I waited and it was well worth it. These kids are so talented. I hope they understand how lucky they are to have the O'Keefe music Foundaition to help nurture these talents and share them with the whole world. I will be donating to this fantastic program.
Not that you need me to validate what you're doing but......... The fact that you allow these kids to study such amazing music and put it into perspective for them is just incredible. Most adults would never even say the word suicide in front of their children. Allowing these words to be studied is exactly what is needed to mature these young minds to understand what's going on. There is no other way to express my feeling on the matter. These kids gave me chills and I almost cried at the end. I'm APC fan since Mer De Noms was released. Please keep moving forward and express my appreciation to this group of amazing artist!!!

I feel the young songstress may be a better fit in a different genre due to the fact that she seems to be held back by this particular song.
I am NOT saying that I did not enjoy this cover at all. I feel she has far more potential that this song can provide. Her voice seems like a caged bird that really doesnt want to be there and wants to take off in flight.
But thats just a quick thought and I could be wrong. Its not up to me. It will be up to the fans that they all will have.

schaddly her singing isn’t nearly angry/tense/aggressive enough to sing this song...I’d agree she’s very talented. she’d sound much better in a different type of genre....prog rock isn’t it. You can really tell it at the end of the song. Something more “pop” in the rock genre would be amazing with her covering it.

schaddly for sure, definitely has her place. Just not covering tool or bands like them. I’ll say “pop” there is no shame in it.....a lot of the more “pop” rock bands were the gateway into the genre for kids. I don’t mean it to sound like a knock on her.

I want to give a major shout-out to whoever is responsible for the song selection. I'm guessing that is Aaron O'Keefe? Whoever it is, they have exceptional taste in music, and these young performers knock it out of the park each and every single time, even when they tackle songs that would not be the easiest to cover. I think music makes the world a better place, and this sort of commitment and teamwork to providing such excellent covers to songs is so refreshing.
