Wow, that girl's voice makes me cry, such amazing soul, no words can describe the esoterics, just beautiful projection.
All the students are phenomenal, but I simply can't get over the talent that young lady has. Her voice is powerful, haunting, soulful... They'll all go FAR.

And great job on the drums sir. Maiden time changes are nothing to be scoffed at.
Notice that Curtis during this time did most of the tough ones. Maiden, Tool and Dream Theater. All of those move time signatures like a woman changes her mind. I think DT averags about 18 to 20 changes per song, and some of them have over 50...and into time signatures like 17/8. Mike Portnoy said they have some that are like 23/16...and worse. LOL
do not underestimate some ones focus, drive, determination, and courage merely based on their age. Bravo kids..Well done!

Andres, the singer's name is Kala. She is definately a superstar in the making. I hope she makes another song soon but you can not rush success I guess.
So much talent overall, but the singer, Kala... her voice is nothing short of amazing, gives me goosebumps for every song she sings - if the rock/metal world is blessed with her vocals now and in the future, I can then die a happy man.
Mr. Okeefe I do not know how you are doing this but it is great. Song after song and kid after kid at all ages just rock. What is in the water in that town. I can not get enough, I spend hours playing the videos you have made. I am a 48 year old male and just can not get enough. If you like this also check out Jordan by Buckhead. The little dude playing the drums is out of his mind.
I can't stop watching these covers. The future of mankind is looking brighter with kids like these making great music like this.

I am dead serious, this is no joke, every time I listen to these two songs, my eyes fill with tears, I get goosebumps, I even shiver a little, and I am filled with exhilaration, well maybe not EVERYTIME, but it has happened more than twice. I would sell my soul just to come CLOSE to the O'keefe Music Foundation. This is worth anything and everything. OMF FOREVER!!!

11 year old girl...singing IRON freaking MAIDEN!!!!! That is absolutely beautiful!! The beauty of Iron Maiden is that their songs are mostly based on books, movies and history (and of some fiction). Iron Maiden was my favorite band. Didn't like where they going after Seventh Son and didn't hear another song from them for 20 years. Then I heard this and I loved it. Made me check out what album this song was from and that led me to A Matter of Life and Death. I tell you what. That album should have be after Powerslave. Maiden was reborn in me after 20 years. So thank you kids for that. The kids' other Maiden covers are equally impressive. Ghosts of the Navigator (another song I had not heard) and Number of the beast (that kid screaming is awesome and now he is one of the guitarist in quite a few of the other videos). I would like to give you (Mr. O'Keefe) a few Iron Maiden songs for future consideration: Sea of Madness, Hallowed be the Name, Revelations, Children of the Damned, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, Alexander the Great, Powerslave, The Prowler, 22 Acacia Ave. (probably not appropriate), Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Ghengis Khan, To Tame A Land, Total Eclipse, Remember Tomorrow, Still Life, Quest For Fire, and so many more.Basically anything on the first 6 albums. Iron Maiden Rules (or at least they did)
+Brian Thomas I think you should listen to Mainden's last albums, I agree that X factor, virtual XI, No prayer for the dying tc were not such great albums but withe brave new world, dance od death et most recently the book of souls, they really did an awesome job! These albums are fantastic! I likethem just as much as their first ones. Sure the style is a bit different but every group evolves and in my opinion Maiden did in an awesome way :)

Sorry but when all they made was masterpiece after masterpiece and then they put out lackluster albums “no prayer for the dying” and “fear of the dark”. You start to lose interest. Then they make an album without Bruce? Wouldn’t even listen to it. If only “Brave New World” could have followed “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son”.....Don’t get me started on this “new” 3rd guitarist. Been in the band for what 25 years? What has he contributed? I’m just kidding. Anyways I’m still listening to them. If I’m not a fan in your eyes whatever. I just hold them to a higher standard.

He has been a guitarist and contributing member in Iron Maiden for thirty-one years now. THIRTY-ONE years! Some of the best work they have ever done is from years 2000 and later..... by far. A real Maiden fan would be well aware of this.

Absolut magisch; da hören ein paar Kids bei ihren Vätern oder wo auch immer ein paar Klassiker, finden sich mit ihresgleichen - und stellen das in einer Perfektion auf die Beine, daß einem dieselben weich werden. Absolutely magical; a few kids listen to a few classics from their fathers or wherever, find each other with their own kind - and do it to perfection so that they become soft.
Maiden songs are like masterpieces, so many changes in them it's insane. The fact that these kids pull it off like pros is nothing short of amazing. She's got pipes from hell perfect for metal and the rest of the kids are amazing musicians
I look forward to following her very long career...I just hope they keep her from that pop music, Rock on Kala ,but no matter what it is I will listen...Amazing...I don't think the bands in theses songs get enough credit either...Amazing job!!!

A very cute attempt musically, I enjoyed it - though, the piano was a bit loud and the guitars a bit too quiet... Otherwise, I think the overall sound stability would've been a lot more solid. The girl singing here is my favorite part of the whole thing of course. You can tell she's passionate about what she's doing! Just like she was in 46 & 2 ;)

I've only just recently stumbled upon this stuff from O'Keefes and this is absolutely amazing. These kids are so talented and I realize some of this was 7 or 8 years ago. So some of them are obviously grown up. I hope all these kids whether it's older videos or even some of these kids in the newer videos go on to promising music careers.
Been a Maiden fan since 1983 well done to these kids the whole idea of a cover version is to put your stamp on a song or interpret it your way & they certainly did a great job of that.
Ignore those who poor scorn on your efforts they probably couldn't play a note themselves.or have the guts to put themselves out there for all to see.
Again well done I liked it.
