Wow, I am so grateful for your help! Thanks to your excellent explanation, I was able to fix my Studio 3 Beats headphones. I ordered the headband and cushion piece. Your instructions were incredibly helpful and straightforward. Thank you so much for your expertise!
@@GabriellePohOne of the rubber tabs on my cushion piece ripped in half when the earphone piece broke. It's a good idea to replace the cushion because once it comes off, it's never really the same...
😂😂😂 I used super glue which didn't work then taped it and wore like it for 2 years like an idiot until today I decided to search how to fix it. Mother of two toddlers here. Don't judge.
Thanks to your excellent explanation, I was able to fix my Studio 3 Beats wireless headphones. I ordered the headband and there were no instructions. Your video instructions were very helpful and thank you so much!
Terrifically detailed video and instructions, thank you so much! I was able to follow along while doing this and save my 5 year old headphones I paid $300 for!
Thanks for the tutorial. I had assumed something was broken with the hinge, but after closer examination I see that the headband does indeed contain the broken plastic that I need to replace. One word of caution - I couldn't get my T5 to bite on the screws and it would have stripped if I'd have kept trying. A T6 worked great.
I used the T5 that came with the replacement and now I think I stripped the screw, just ordered my own set of smaller screwdrivers, hopefully that will help. Going to try a T6.
This video was the most informative of the others that I’d watched and like you said with a little patience, I got everything to work. Your instructions were really good.
Well informed tutorial. covered everything. I was down and out after I heard the snap of my beloved beats. You have given me peace if mind. Thanks again
Really thankful for this video! Ordering the parts and I'm gonna try to fix mine! Rather not toss em since the speakers work great. Also don't want to drop $300-$400 on new ones if I don't have to
This worked for me as in the video. I enjoyed the upbeat voice -- would add a warning that there is some greasy stuff and a fine plastic strip that disintegrated when removing the cushion from the old headband. It threw me at first but I navigated around it.
I found this and I believe it was because the broken plastic is stuck inside. Once I got those pieces out, I was able to bend it more to remove the screws.
PLEASE HELP ME anything after 3:03 doesnt work. the underside of the headband does not seem to stick to it?????? im going to cry. like the underside came apart and everything is so sticky and i cant get the tabs??? inside the grooves???? from the replacement headband part. im going to cry please help.
I figured it out. Just remove the rubber from the plastic. Put the headband and the plastic together. Hear the snap, good means they snapped in. Next fit the rubber into the groove between the headband and the sticky plastic. (I just removed the sticky thin transparent tape.) Then jimmy the rubber and the headband together and u can follow the tutorial.
Thanks for the video. What are the little plastic parts next to the hinge that have the L and R on them? I need some new ones of those but I can't find them probably because I can't figure out what they're called.
Doing this a second time :) pro tip. Screw in the replacement part first. Click the bottom side. Then unscrew and tuck the rubber parts in and screw in again ;)

Hey, thanks Dean. First comment on this channel! 👍
Hiya mate do you think you could show how to replace the hinges themselves?
Fantastic video. Took me 2 minutes each side and they work perfectly! Thank you!
Such a great video! With this it took me less than 15 minutes to do! And also not spend almost 400euros for the new ones. 😄 Thank you very much! 👍🏼

The broken side of my beats won’t bend. Any tips on how to get it to bend so I could continue with the tutorial?
