I can't believe such expensive headphones are so cheaply manufactured. Clearly, it costs them so little to make it, since all the material used looks super cheap.

Hey just wondering . What part does it need to be repair when for example you know how people with different head sizes adjust the length of the handphones . Well I have a pair that on the left side they don’t lock in place it’s just lose and goes all the way Down if you what I’m talking about . The right side works and actually locks in place to the desired length

Thanks for watching! We do not currently have a video showing how to replace the Solo 3 wireless hinge. It is a rather tedious process and requires complete disassembly of the headphones. We can replace a hinge for $80 if you send the headphones in to us for repair by following the steps on our website here: JoesGE.com/pages/repair-services MD.

Thanks for watching! As this is a DIY, we would have no intention on deceiving anyone. If you follow along with the repair in the video, your headphones should be good as new. That said, it does look bowed a bit, I believe that is the angle of the camera. But we can always re-upload a new video if there is confusion about the process in this one. CH

So i’ve been watching your videos about replacing the hinges on the Beats. But the problem with my Beats Solo 3 Wireless is that on the right where it says “Solo3”, well that piece is missing, and the headband part doesn’t connect. So my question is, is it possible to put the metal piece on the hinge without buying the whole hinge itself?

You will need a new headband to attach the hinge to your part here is a link to that part - www.joesge.com/products/beats-by-dre-solo-3-wireless-headband-band-arch-plastic-parts
