There is something ever so satisfying about watching someone clean in a sped up time-lapse format. Too bad real life didn't work like that. I clicked off your video for a moment to research fabric recycling near me and was pleasantly surprised to find that there are a few bins to drop off my fabric scraps within 5 mi of my house. Thank you ever so much for bringing this up I don't know why I didn't think to research it for myself.
I'm so jealous of your cleaning!!!! If you are local to Seattle or Portland, Ridwell is a program that comes to your house for "threads", lightbulbs, batteries , some thin plastics, hard foam like meat trays and packaging and other fun rotating categories, some are like donating art supplies you aren't using. Plus you don't have to leave your house! I initially did it for my quilting scraps but have enjoyed trying to be better recycler! Loving your dailies! Not too long- I appreciate it!
I've seen the Ridwell boxes on people's porches, but haven't used it! That sounds like a great service! I love finding ways to recycle things that would otherwise be trash. Thanks for recommending it, I check it out!
I hate when I’m disappointed with an online fabric purchase. 😧 but sometimes it happens. Whatever you make will be adorable non the less. Isn’t it nice to have a tidy sewing space when you start a new project? After the holidays I’m planning on a major sort and clean.
January is a great time to clean the sewing room! I agree, starting fresh for a new project really puts me in the right mindset. Unfortunately, it's already a mess again after only a day of sewing 🤦♀️ You win some, you loose some, haha
I think the cuteness may make up for the thinness! Although, I may have spoke too soon, after I washed it, it seemed...thicker??? Idk how that's possible, haha.

Yay!! I am glad I mentioned it, I almost cut that part out of the video! I, too, love watching cleaning time-lapses...they are so satisfying!
😍😍 fabric is adorable
It's cuter than it looked on the website when I bought it! Love when that happens 😊

Yes email when you are dissatisfied. How will they get better if you don't tell them.
Update: I emailed them with photos and they offered to send me a replacement of 2 yards, so I am glad I did!
Low quality fabric?!?! What?? But it’s sooo cute!
