My first firearm with a flat faced trigger and I love it! Such a nice light trigger and decided against it being a home defense gun so it's my "for fun range gun". Also that thin, green Dawson sight just pops for me. Nice tour of this firearm.
Yeah I've noticed that with the 320's, it doesn't feel like the striker has enough force behind it. Was playing with a glock 43 and its striker felt strong enough to drive nails lol, almost shook my hand
First review I have caught. Very informative and you have a very nice way of presenting a review. I’m in the process of buying my first full size home defense pistol. This is a contender.
Nice video! Both you and your wife did really good shooting the legion. Yesterday, i was at the range and some guy had it. I asked how he liked it? He liked it and he said it shoots good. He said i can take a few shots. A very nice gun! No recoil. The flat trigger was good. I have the M18 (CA) version which i bought in April. I like it! Shoots good. I wanted to buy something before July 1st (11% tax). Iv seen prices here $1025 - 1199 for the legion.
One of my favorite guns and I love the way it feels, shoots, and I just installed Hogue grips for a better feel. I love the weight of this gun and it's heavier than my X10. One of the best Sig's I have ever owned.
Sig uses combat sights normally, not sure in this particular pistol, but try to aligh the front sight so that the center of the front horizontally splits the target, also try to place the front sight split by the horizontal of the rear sight
Thank you so much. I hope you enjoy my content. I also have a "2nd" channel you may like too. The Texas Gun Vault 2. It is more behind the scenes and casual.
I carried a Gen2 Glock 31 for 20 years. I have a lot of Glocks (and Sigs). I never have figured out that nonsense trigger dingus. If something is inside the trigger guard to press the trigger, it's pretty likely it'll defeat the dingus as well. I prefer the 1911/Springfield XD grip safety. That ACTUALLY requires TWO different things to happen with safeties for it to actuate. As far as the accuracy; pick one spot and stay on it. Don't try to adjust. It goofs the mechanical accuracy result quite a bit. I'll intentionally offset a red dot or scope just to focus on a tiny spot that I won't hit just to see the inherent accuracy. Zero it after you see how it groups based on a tiny spot. Nice review. One of my favorites
Horribly low IQ. I'm not even an engineer and I can already tell that little "dingus" is a drop safety against momentum. To prevent the gun from firing from the triggers/bars own weight.
Good morning, Jason, excellent topic. I am really keen to get a Sig Sauer, but I am not sure whether I get an older Milspec version or go down the IPSC type. Cheers
Out of curiosity, as a 6’6” dude do you think its realistic to view this as a possible carry gun? Of all of the handguns ive felt and looked at, it feels the most solid and smooth by far.
So when you say "Where it wants to shoot" I'm assuming that's a reference to the sights right out of the box with no adjustment. I've heard these are a little off out of the box, typically. Hope you were able to get them adjusted, so you don't have to compensate!
Good review Jason. It’s a competition gun with a sub par trigger (like all P320’s). I shoot 3gun and several buddies of mine shoot the P320 Legion but I run a CZ Shadow 2 w/ a Trijicon SRO. Long story short…it’s apples to oranges and the CZ wins hands down. To be fair, my buddies are “Sig Whores” and they’d never shoot anything else but in all honesty, it’s their loss 😂
I have always loved the P320. That said I always thought it was funny that it is acceptable to carry a 4LBS striker fired gun with no safety but a shooter would be scolded if they carried a DA/SA cocked with a 5LBS trigger. Same trigger pull but different acceptance.
Question, I am aiming to get this gun. However, regarding recent lawsuits and what not does this model have any issues where it discharges without the user pulling the trigger?
Your gun store is gouging you big time. I'm in Cali. Just picked one up for 1099. (Edit: realizing you said on consignment... They are legal in Cali now. They come with a safety. Just added to roster this year. Along with the M18 version. Was originally interested in M18, then this showed up.)
@@mostdavestdave69 $1099 ain’t bad! Amazing this was added to the CA roster since I first posted this 6 months ago! I have a couple of other guns purchased on consignment because when they come from out of state they don’t have that annoying magazine disconnect! I’m sure the legion X5 has it(don’t all guns sold in Ca have it?) but for the price that’s a deal!! How do you like it? I’ll probably end up getting one soon.
@@Al-xb9fo All new guns added to the roster have to have those features. (Loaded flag and mag disconnect) but the ones that have been on the roster since before 2016ish.. are "grandfathered in. Mine is still in Cali detention, so I'm eagerly waiting. I haven't been this excited to get a new pistol in a long time though. Even after purchasing several over the last several years.
I'm drooling .The gun has just been added to the California Registry List for us poor slubs who live in the Peoples Republic of California. We're told what we can buy! Plus in 10 more days we get to pay and extra 11% in tax added on to the normal tax!
I am a words guy. I feel it shouldn't be called magwell since that's simply where the mag goes. I don't like flared magwell since it's a separate piece and should have its own nomenclature. I would call it a magwell skirt. or maybe a magwell flare. but not magwell or flared magwell.
I get your feelings on a flat faced trigger as opposed to a more rounded trigger but a safety? C'mon man. Thats pretty weak. Nice video, awesome gun, safety comment horrible
A quality holster is all the safety a real 🔫 gun person needs. If you need more than a hoster. Maybe consider carrying with an empty chamber or don't carry at all until you build enough courage and have the balls to carry with 1 in the chamber. That's my thinking, GL 😂
All three of these things I love about this , the one thing i don’t like is the mags it comes with, they aren’t bad but they are flush to the mag well, it isn’t horrible, but extended mags are easier to seat and grip to remove if for some reason the mag doesn’t eject properly. With the price of sig mags, it makes this one gripe a bit pricey to remedy.

One of my favorite striker-fired handguns. It was my nightstand gun for quite some time. Until it got de-throned... Thank you for the video!
You are always very welcome!
Out of curiosity, what dethroned it?

Thanks for your review, great grouping as well.
My P320 has the same anemic feel to the trigger, but does not diminishes from its performance👍

I think it has a lot to do with tradition.
My father just bought one of these and it has a manual thumb safety. They must have added the option eventually
