I’ve lived in AZ my entire life, and in elementary school, my teacher taught the class how to cool down in the 100+ temperatures: go to the kitchen sink and fill it with enough cool-to-cold water to submerge my arm in it. After a few minutes, I was way cooled down. When I got into medical school, I found the mechanism behind this is that the blood flowing through my arm cooled down, then it circulated to my core, thereby dropping my core temp. So.... the cold towel is cooling down the larger arteries and veins in your neck, working much more efficiently!! Brilliant advice, Angela. Gold star for you ⭐️

I have used some but this video was 3 years ago I have come across some microfiber towels from Home Depot that are light and easy to rinse and squeeze the water out not to think where it tired your hands from having a big grip to squeeze the water out
I love ecloths! I think in my first few weeks of using them I was constantly trying to find things to challenge them to shine, was not disappointed. Though in the UK our window pack is an orange waffle cloth and an orange shining cloth, I'd love the bright yellow ones! But they're often super cheap (ecloths) depending on when you buy them. I've bought them as low as £1.99 before (apparently that's $2.62 at the time of writing this) which makes them easy on the pocket too.
@@AskAngelaBrown certainly worth it. I've not really ever paid very much for my e cloth cloths, the cheapest ones are the anti bacterial ones on Amazon for I think it's £3 a pack atm which is a pack of 2, but amazon warehouse is also worth checking out too, I picked up a 4 pack last night for £6 which worked out the same, £1.50 a cloth. Always check amazon warehouse because there is massive savings to be had. The pack I got last night usually retails at about £15 and an open box doesn't bother me.
Also, for an alternative to kitchen towel I tend to use washable bamboo towels. They come on a roll, and you can wash them a good few times before they need binning. I need to buy more soon, but the last lot was bought about 2 years ago which isn't bad going.
Yes, people love those. For homeowners we recommend them over paper towels, but for professional use we try to stick with cotton terry and microfiber since we can (and need to wash them often) to prevent cross-contamination from house to house. Thanks for reminding us about them. Less waste saves the earth. :-)
If they are really dirty, get a gallon jug with a wide mouth or a small bucket. Fill it with water and add a 1/4 cut of OxiClean and let them soak until you wash them.

What do yousuggest for extra shinny laminate floors? I'm having lint problems when I wet mop them with a microfibre drying towell I use 14""*14". Everything else leaves a film residue, the microfibre doesn't but it leaves lint that I can see with a sideways light I shine on the floor.
Hi John! Here are a few things you can try: First, make sure that you're using a cleaner that is specifically designed for laminate floors. The cleaners are formulated to be gentle on the surface and won't leave behind any residue or buildup that can dull the finish. Also, consider using a different type of mop or cleaning tool. While microfiber towels are great for cleaning, sometimes they can leave behind lint or fibers on the floor. You might want to try using a mop with a microfiber pad that is designed to trap dirt and debris without leaving lint behind. Finally, be sure to avoid using too much water when cleaning your laminate floors. Too much water can damage the surface and can also be cause part of the lint problem you're experiencing. Use a damp mop or cleaning tool, and be sure to dry the floors thoroughly after cleaning to avoid leaving behind any moisture or residue. Hope this helps! Regenerate response

Thank you so much for such an immediate response. Love your presentations and all the help you offer to make house cleaning easier and quicker using great products that you personally have tried. My freezer is a minus 1. I've tried lightly wrung and tightly wrung, in the container it comes in and just by itself in the freezer and both times frozen solid. LOVE, LOVE your videos Angela. I have a question though: When you wipe down surfaces and/or bath tubs and bath walls/shower walls, do you do so with a damp or completely dry terry towel?
Typically on a job we use cotton terry cloths in the bathtub or shower. They are dry when we start the job and after wiping down the walls they are damp. We clean the floor of the shower last, and those damp towels we put right outside the shower door on the floor so we can step or kneel on them when coming out of the shower because we have removed the bath mat and are sort of drying off our shoes so we don't track water all over the clients bathroom floor.
Great news, Under every video we create on this channel are the words SHOW MORE. If you click on those words, a window pops up with all the products mentioned and links where you can buy them. We've tried to make it easy for you. 👍
For a typical 3bdrm 2bath home, how many microfiber cloths would be used on a job? I’m wondering, for my home, what’s a good amount of microfiber cloths to purchase for general cleaning?
Do u clean with paper towels first and then use these clothes to detail clean??? Cause otherwise, don’t u need thousands of clothes to clean a house? On average, how many clothes do u use per house? Thanks!
I’ve just bought some bright wipes after watching your video, and your love story lol! Hopefully I got the real thing but they came with no instructions on how to care for them and if you can put them in the dryer. Also, I watched your video a couple of times, but I’m not sure which side to use for what on the bright wipes?
Thank you for your feedback! Microfiber cloths can usually be machine washed and air-dried to maintain their effectiveness. Regarding usage, microfiber often has a designated side for specific tasks; a smoother side for general cleaning and a more textured side for tougher stains. Experiment with both sides to see which works best for different cleaning needs.
Thank you for your reply. I am really learning from your wisdom and experience. My son and I have been researching starting our own cleaning business and I value your videos. I wish I had taken notes but going to rewatch and start notes!
I have a home gym with a rubber floor wondering what’s best cloths for the metal machinery for cleaning its a finished room I’ve orders utopia Skoy Ecloth And a cloth for cleaning lenses And tvs It’s a office / gym what else would you recommend and what one of these cloths are best for the skirtings
+Billye if you’re talking about for the weight equipment, you have metal bars with padding. For those you can use a damp terry cloth or a damp microfiber cloth. If you’re going to be spraying the cloths you can spray them with a disinfectant cleaner like OdoBan. That will remove the odors and clean and sanitize them at the same time. You can use a duster or the same type of cloths for the skirting’s or baseboards. 👍 It sounds like a wonderful room. 😍
Great video. I use e-cloth aswell. But even better then e cloth I prefer using Norwex enviro cloth and the polishing cloth. I think they are the best of the best, but very expensive! Mr SIGA cloths on amazon I hear are similar to norwex and much cheaper.
How do you feel about ecloths? They seem to be good quality and are also for water use only but I can't bring myself to clean my stovetop and kitchen counter with just water after cooking. (There is a designated stovetop cloth and kitchen cloth). Also, you are supposed to only rinse them out afterwards for daily use but again I can't bring myself to use it again without actually washing them. I can see reusing the one for mirrors but what do you think of this method for the kitchen?
+Cat Nip they are great for so many things. And the answer is it depends on the type of job you are cleaning. If your kitchen needs a degreaser then you’re going to need something stronger than an ecloth, maybe even a scrub brush. The key is to use the least amount of chemicals needed to do the job right. If your stovetopjust needs a light wipe down, the ecloths are fine. 👍
Ok, thanks for clarifying! I feel they have been doing a great job of cleaning things at my house. I like the idea of less chemicals. (I guess several of the cloths you mentioned can be used without chemicals.) I find that a few things need chemicals to really get clean. Ex: toilets
Angela, your are great, love the video, I thought I was the only one that could get excited about cleaning cloths and lol fall in love with, lol, once you have that first experience with a cleaning cloth, it like you fall in love with it every time! Maybe I sound crazy now !? 🙄 Well, just thanks !

Hey Angela, I was wondering what do you use for just everyday cleaning? I work for a cleaning business but I hate using the waffle cloths we use for kitchens and bathrooms. Are there good substitutes that are tough enough to get out dirt and grime like a waffle cloth? Because I've noticed if I use a regular microfiber cloth it doesn't get up the hard stuff.
@@AskAngelaBrown that's what I thought but I couldn't find any information online about good cleaning cloths. I'm ordering some britewipes now, thank you so much! 😄

Britewipes are no longer available on amazon.com Says currently unavailable & don't know when it will be back.
Thank you for letting me know. I will check it out.
Did you follow her link? I typed the name, and it said unavailable, but when I followed the link, they were there. I just got some Thursday.
It would be nice to know how to get the cloths and an idea of the cost.
Great news, Under every video we create on this channel are the words SHOW MORE. If you click on those words, a window pops up with all the products mentioned and links where you can buy them. We've tried to make it easy for you. 👍
Can you review easyclothco's NanoScale cloth?
It's possible. I'll put it in the queue.
Swedish dish cloths + kitchen cloth and polishing cloth.
Done. All you need.
Great suggestions. Thanks for sharing. :-)
For a typical 3bdrm 2bath home, how many microfiber cloths would be used on a job? I’m wondering, for my home, what’s a good amount of microfiber cloths to purchase for general cleaning?
For a home like yours, 10-12 microfiber cloths should be enough for general cleaning tasks, but it's always good to have a few extras
@@AskAngelaBrown thank you!
Are cloth diapers good for polishing?
Yes.
Do u clean with paper towels first and then use these clothes to detail clean??? Cause otherwise, don’t u need thousands of clothes to clean a house? On average, how many clothes do u use per house? Thanks!
We use paper towels on toilets. The cloths we use for the rest of the house. And no, you don't need thousands, a dozen or so is all.
I wish I had taken notes but going to rewatch and start notes!
great reviews ... thank you 😄
Thank you!
Great product recs because I haven't heard of many of them. Thank you!
You’re welcome. 😊
Thanks for info. Thanks Angela Jennifer 🤣
You are so welcome!
I have a home gym with a rubber floor wondering what’s best cloths for the metal machinery for cleaning its a finished room
I’ve orders utopia
Skoy
Ecloth
And a cloth for cleaning lenses And tvs
It’s a office / gym what else would you recommend and what one of these cloths are best for the skirtings
It sounds like a wonderful room. 😍
I love the holy Moly Glass Cleaning Cloths
Thanks so much for watching the show and leaving a comment. 👍
Who sells those cloths?? What store has them?
Check the show notes description. All the links to the resources and products can be found there.
Great video. I use e-cloth aswell. But even better then e cloth I prefer using Norwex enviro cloth and the polishing cloth. I think they are the best of the best, but very expensive! Mr SIGA cloths on amazon I hear are similar to norwex and much cheaper.
Mig Gar I love norwex mine get heavy use and they hold up
hi mig gar, are you sure they are called "sigma"=? can't find them.
@@curtweigel8460 My mistake its called Mr SIGA!!! You can find them on amazon and read the reviews. Many people say theyre similar to norwex.
I’m not a Norwex fan. They stink too often!
Thanks for sharing your opinions on cleaning cloths.
2:28 Holland cup. Yeahhh.
Thanks for your feedback and thank you for watching. 🙂
Is there a reason you only use E-cloth for Windows and not their other cleaning cloths?
Ok, thanks for clarifying! I feel they have been doing a great job of cleaning things at my house. I like the idea of less chemicals. (I guess several of the cloths you mentioned can be used without chemicals.)
I find that a few things need chemicals to really get clean. Ex: toilets

What are the best ones for kitchen???
It depends on what you are cleaning.
I don’t have a microwave.
Is there another way to disinfect the skoy cloth?
Great question. Here is the website www.skoycloth.com and phone 888-802-8282 they may be able to give you some other alternatives.
I need the absorber I had sweat running into my eyes... 😅
I feel ya!😄
Can you use all purpose cleaner to spray and wipe with the Scoy cleaner?
And what is the best cloth for cleaning exterior and interior of cars?
Skoy cloths are great and can be used in place of paper towels and sponges. Learn more at: SkoyCloth.com
If you are polishing the car exterior I suggest the Buff cloth. You’re so funny! You get so excited.
Angela Brown there are way worse things to be obsessive about.
@@AskAngelaBrown Sorry to bother you again, but what do you use for the bathrooms?? 😊
Currently unavailable on Amazon.
Sadly, since COVID, most of the things I love and recommend on Amazon are sold out. I've been in touch with some manufacturers and they've halted all production of everything except COVID related supplies. Hopefully the cleaning world is back to normal again soon. :-)
What... no Shamwow??? ;)

I appreciate your opinion.
I don't drip dry just spin dry and hang up.

According to Jebblas, their cloths are made from viscose and polyester and are not biodegradable.
Thanks for your feedback.
Ugh, started out great, but frustrated by all the microfiber options!! Desperately want someone to show and share natural fiber options please! While microfiber seems good it has some long term health affects we need to redirect and rethink other options. Please someone help us find what our ancestors knew and has been lost.
