Yes that's the plan! I almost made it to do those couple of handrails but as it turns out they were so light it wasn't necessary.
Would you use filler rod on a stainless steel exhaust system?
Yes, for an exhaust system that's going to experience a lot of vibration, absolutely. This is just static a handrail.
