Lauda Air Flight 004 Boeing 767 Crash in Phu Toei Park Thailand North of Bangkok

In May 1991, Lauda Air flight 004 enroute from Bangkok, Thailand to Vienna Austria crash shortly after takeoff into the Phu Toei National Park.  Lauda Air’s founder  former formula one champion Niki Lauda. Niki flew to the crash site and was personally involved in the crash investigation.
