- James Gunn has hinted at over 50 characters on twitter, Instagram, Mastodon and Interviews who a haven't been confirmed to be appearing in the DCU yet but evidence points to James Gunn having plans for a lot if not all of them. In this video I'll go over every one of these characters, when they were hinted and what I think the plan is for these characters.

There is a really big chance that some or more of these characters will be apart of the new dc universe
And when James gunn announced chapter 1 of the dcu he said that it was half of the projects for the first chapter so maybe at a big event sometime this year or next year he can announce more projects for chapter 1 with some of those characters
DC literally has thousands of characters. It's got a roster already.

I really hope they cast a new Wonder Woman, Flash, and Aquaman. Shazam isn’t as necessary for a DC universe
I take it for granted that they'll recast Flash. They are acting like DCEU Flash stays only because his movie costed 300 Million Dollars, so they have to get some of that money back

Looks like the big endgame for chapter 1 could be a fusion of "Kingdom come" meets "New frontier", where the JL faces off against the authority and has to defeat the centre while also earning the trust of the people and inspiring a new generation of people and heroes on what being a hero truly is.
Hoping for Huntress and The Question
I am hyped for this new Universe, but a part of me is a bit worried. With how the people seems to be getting tired of comic book movies because the MCU keeps churning up instalments with various quality, what if, by 2025 when the universe begins, comic book movies won't be as big as they've been?
People will see movies if they’re quality. Comic book movies (Marvel) automatically make lots of box office right now despite quality. By the time the DCU starts, people might not blindly see superhero movies anymore. But if word spreads these DC movies are great, the audience will come

I would really like to see a Resurrection Man appearance. I know the character is written off as a but one note. But it's an untapped well of potential. Life, death, the afterlife, and the inbetween. The powerset alone is nothing like anything in the MCU. Or any where else.
something to take into consideration for a possible justice league dark is that we already have confirmation of swamp thing and frankenstein in the slate, the deadman post of halloween give us three members there detective chimp 4, its only a matter of time to see if they hint to etrigan and zatanna, because i wont be surprised if constantine shows up in the post credit scenes or has a role in the swamp thing movie

Throw Batmite in Peacemaker Season 2, but have only Peacemaker see him and react to all the magic he does (everyone else has no reaction, like the dance at the beginning). Make it not obvious if he is there, or Peacemaker is going insane. That would be funny (I don't know about the old man though, I think a younger comedian is needed for the role).

Man the two Batman villains who are long overdue for appearing in any movies at all is Hugo Strange and Clayface. They are easily Batman’s most known villains who have yet to appear in a movie.

Just imagine a Question movie inspired by 1970 noirs, like the French Connection, or neo noirs, like Drive or David Fincher films. His whole plot is maturing as a hero. He starts off as a relatively amateur vigilante who begins to uncover a conspiracy about a secret crim organization basically running his city. When he tries to get stuff done, he’s almost killed because he’s reckless and too inexperienced. So, a large focus of the film is him training and going into a more zen mind state instead of relying on aggression. It could be psychological, detective styled, and also include martial arts.

I made my own superhero, his name is Unstoppable his real name is Samson. He died at 15 by an attack in the city. But came back by a curse that made him not only stay 15 forever. Also gave him supernatural abilities like Divine Empowerment, Superhuman Stamina, Enhanced Speed, Enhanced Reflexes, Superhuman Agility, Flight, Enhanced Strength, Superhuman Wisdom, Telescopic Vision, Enhanced Hearing, Hand Beams, Optic Beams, and Invulnerability
Don’t remember the actors real name but Nate from euphoria needs to be red hood he’d kill it and fits the role perfectly

I’d say for the Batman I kinda have a hope that they will follow more of the animated Batman story for the dcu and give the robin property also to Matt reeves to use for his Batman as I feel like Robert Pattison Batman could do quite a lot with a under the red hood story that ends with tim drake as robin in that universe. It would allow Damian to have the rivalry that he did with nightwing in the dcu animated films while also giving us a lot of robin content. Idk just a thought. I just want robin in live action

I think Ultra-Humanite would be amazing in a Superman movie he was his first major supervillain and harbors a hate just as strong if not stronger than Lex Luther
If we assume it takes a similar plotline to son of Batman, I would not entirely be surprised if Brave and the Bold is where Slade finally gets to be the big bad.
He could be Batman's archenemsis in the new universe since we're tired from seeing the Joker for the million time in Live Action and I think that Ben Affleck will gonna direct this movie because it was his dream to make this project come to life.

I'm gonna be optimistic but it's sorta seems like this won't work that well. DC should have started fresh with each solo movie related to the original Justice League, leading to them joining hands, kinda how MCU did with Avengers. DC phase one would end with Justice League coming together with the tower etc. Phase two could have been dedicated to magic and dark universe introducing our JL dark etc. Point is, be patient with your plans and don't make the same mistakes that WB did before. But whatever

I am worried about a cluttered universe as we are not even done with Phase 1 and we have so many projects that don't seem to be leading up to anything in particular
I feel like this will be the type of franchise where things start connecting after a long time.
I mean, he literally comes from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and they were the ones setting up major elements of Infinity War while the rest of the MCU was dealing with their stories
I feel like even if that is the case, there are going to be too many franchises going on at once. At its core the MCU in the Infinity Saga only had 2 major groups whereas this universe has at least four in the suicide squad, authority, creature commandos and eventually definitely Justice League, I mean the MCU is becoming a mess now. They already have Eternals, are planning on Thunderbolts aswell as possibly East and West and Young Avengers not even counting all the alternate universe stuff.
I am baffled James Gunn mentioned Captain Atom and not Firestorm? SMH?
