That’s a way to look at it, Suicide squad are pure evil people or villains that are forced to do good Or against what they normally do. Creature commandos are good/bad people who don’t really have a say in what they do. A more tragic story I would assume
Actually that was already a thing because in the secret origins legends crossover that before the modern suicide squad there were a bunch like the men of war started in the story “the war that time forgot” they were known to call themselves the suicide squad which canonically is the reason for the name there were also the old suicide squad who may have appeared before or after the suicide squad but canonically they came before they were literally called the suicide squad and the leader was Rick flag senior the leader of the modern suicide squad also his dad was the leader of the men of war after they started to forget to care about what they were doing also canonically there was a third iteration although I don’t think there was a solo series for them so they were first introduced in the secret origins issue
the scuicide squad if they had a choice
More like the DC equivalent of the Howling Commando or the Midnight Sons.

I loved the Creature Commandos when I was growing up! I finally read the whole original run in trade form a couple of years ago. The worst monster was the sarge.
I'm soo glad we FINALLY get to see DC's version of Frankenstein on TV/movie media. I liked playing as him in Lego Batman 3 and he's pretty awesome in general.
I'm pumped for the premise alone. I hope the show will catapult them into the mainstream and these guys will become DC's 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.

I just think it’s already more than enough that Universal is having such a hard time up-keeping the Classic Creator Characters & as long as this doesn’t infringe on or dummy down their originality, It would definitely be interesting enough to bring forth that untapped potential in a DCEU or any “Verse”.
This team was the inspiration for Marvel's Howling Commandos.

Hi, a slight side track but still in the realm of comic books; could you consider creating a tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy? He passed away last year, and was the sole reason I got into acting. On MsMojo there was a video about the best voice acting in animate d movies and I think he should've been included for his role in Batman the Mask of Phantasm (the scene at the cementary). I have a VA background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. l feel like he's very underrated as Batman (ditto Mark Hamill as Joker) and even non existent in the conversation. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)
