I think Sinestro, Atrocitus and Nekron should be keep for future movies, for the show i would like to see something like the cult of the center being a part of the main mistery and star saphire as a villain to provide a good fight
I agree entirely that villains like Sinestro, Atrocitus and Nekron should be introduced or teased for Green Lantern films, hopefully, if the show is successful enough to warrant a movie to kickstart a film franchise centred on GL. I think The Manhunters and Cult of The Centre make the most sense for the show as both can lead to major stories surrounding GL and the DC Universe. I also loves to see Star Sapphire/Carol Ferris on the show to dive deep into her relationship with Hal and their dynamic and could tease the Zamarons/Star Sapphire Corps as well. Ive been writing scripts for a GL film saga and have ideas of where they could take a lot of these characters in interesting and compelling ways
@@joshya8416 Actually The Green Lantern Animated Series (2011) episode 23 introduced a whole episode dedicated to introducing the Orange Lantern Corps and Larfleez himself, who is also shown to be pretty powerful. The episode has Hal being tempted by the Orange Lantern battery. You should go watch the show its extremely underrated and one of DC's best gems in my opinion

If I have to choose which villain would work for Lanterns TV show, Manhunters are the best option. Their iconic lantern villains that could work in small terrestial setting. You could say they were centered centuries on Earth to deal with "the thing that's going to be important later".
It's gotta be Manhunters. Sinestro and atrocious would work fine for a sequel as they are more significant. Nekron would be great for a big finale for the blackest night inspiration.

the Leviathan group would make for better Question and Huntress villains, while Evil Star would fit better as a Starman villain, so Hector Hammond would definitely be the best for a Lanterns villain as the cult leader of the cult that worship’s The Center

I know right. He also has the acting ability to play a more sturn and imposing Sinestro while also having the ability yo play a more sadistic and fear mongering Sinestro who believes his crusade to be just, especially if you've seen Luke Evans in Dracula Untold (2014) or No One Lives (2012)
They could actually add stakes to the Green Lanterns by actually killing some off since the rings are passed on once a Lantern dies. That could be how we see all the human lanterns. And maybe they could bring back the dead ones with a Blackest Night storyline

I think they should first develop Sinestro as a mentor/friend to Hal. Have some wholesome moments between them, like talk about Abin Sur and then have Sinestro betray the corps, would make the whole thing more gut wrenching.
For me. I think the best villain for the first season is the Manhunters. They serve a colossal role in the GL lore and set up various Lantern villains. Maybe Sinestro can serve the guardians but have a bit of hidden resentment towards them, but the Manhunters could be the straw that broke the camels back and leads to him finding the Yellow Lantern Corps. Atrocitus is a direct victim of the Manhunters and that leads to him finding the Red Lanterns. Here's an idea, have the Manhunters tie into either Hal or John becoming a Lantern. Maybe Abin Sur was traveling to Earth with Atrocitus, but a Manhunter finds and kills him, Atrocitus escapes and goes on a Rampage around Earth until Hal and John capture him. Maybe he could destroy the Manhunter and used its parts to make the weapon William Hands gets ahold of.
I know that the next Justice League film which is going to be the Avengers Infinity War & Avengers Endgame of DCU Chapter One Gods and Monsters, and that is Zero Hour Crisis in Time!!
Knowing that the Lanterns show is going to be based on Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps comic run by Robert Venditti, makes me scream like a little girl. I freaking love that run on Green Lantern so freaking much, it's perfect.
I wouldn't mind a tease to Black Hand, however I thibk thry should build up andd establish the other Lantern Corps to then follow up by ending with a bang eoth Blackest Night. Ive even written my own take on a GL film franchise eith six film scripts that build up to Blackest Night as film 5 and 6. I do think the Manhunters would make the most sense as rhe first GL villains because they tie into the connections with the Guardians and act as purely emotionless automatons that can lead up to the arrival of Atrocitus and build up to Sinestro's betrayal, if they are going to take that route.

When they announced the show in referred to the mystery as an ancient horror, I automatically jump to Nekron and Black Hand. I'm hoping that's the case.
I dont think this show will have A villain, it'll probably be an episodic detective story with new villains every 1-2 episodes like the first 2 seasons of Gotham.

With all the talk about the Center being the main villain. What if the cult of the Center is the Kobra Cult. I know the connection between them and the Lanterns in the comics is loose but if it is a cult dealing with the dinosaur island, then maybe the Kobra Cult would be the culprit.
Flash's Rogue's gallery is full of great villains that ate pretty underrated in my opinion especially the The Rogue's as their one of my favourite villain teams. Wonder Woman also has a rogues gallery full of potential that could be written with a lot of potential

The Sinestro/Yellow Lantern Corp and the Manhunters seems like the Logical Choice.
