Hi Alyssa, I’m new to your channel and find all the inspo very helpful! I’ve recently discovered Kibbe’s body typing system and found out that I look best in a mix of clothes for the soft classic, soft natural and romantic types. This way I can mix and match endlessly ❤ Now I know why too stiff and structured clothes are a struggle. I like that style but it doesn’t like me back 😂 I’m very happy with my newfound style though and can’t wait to finally build my dream wardrobe! Thank you and keep these great vids coming. I found my video! Holy moly! Thank you! This is so fresh, fun, youthful but comfy which is hard to manage I find with Wintry coloring and having a Romantic look. I always borrow from SD to look current and I thought I was that even though instinct kept telling me I look too short and dare I say rotund (despite being healthy weight) for that type. As you likely know the gist with True Winter in particular is thar too much color is literally too many colors on us and a bit noisy plus the makeup colors for us are a color in itself in the big picture. It can be hard to tackle it all but you managed splendidly. I have been commenting all over your videos for weeks trying to shape it all because unfortunately I do have to account for my coloring since people comment on it a lot when I don't (mixed race Afro-Latina person with an unusual coloring for us with pink-ish tan skin a la Jennifer Beals or Zoe Kravitz but have dark grey blue eyes with muted medium dark brown hair). Ever since I was little I learned the power of colors because my skin easily reflects certain unpleasant tones when it's near the wrong ones like orange, chartreuse, terracotta and olive green, which all make me jaundiced or even grey all at once. I went through all the types to figure out what I was even though everyone and their mother that I asked said I was a Romantic, point blank and that I only look a bit TR when I've gotten too thin and even then. Along the way I noted that stuff for my coloring was made more commonly in details for other types hence why I had type resistance and even embraced SD all the way even though the scale for SD read too large for me. Finding this video right now helped me puzzle what details I was looking for that was confusing me, which was my coloring making it hard to find "softer" looking clothes. Thank you so much for the work you do as it's helped me finally find peace with my look. Also, to make shopping more of a pleasure than a drag. I will treat myself this month!
Theatrical romantic here with romantic/ingenue and natural essence! I always rewatch your videos for inspo! I have an idea! If it floats your boat, can you add hairstyles? Not for every outfit but like showing two hairstyles that can fit the kibbe?

Romantic clothing is such bs. Cleavage, off the shoulder, thin materials geez can a girl just stay warm and not freeze for once?? I get colds so easily, I hate that the clothing that would keep me warm looks frumpy on me, and the clothing that flatters my shape is revealing. Can't a girl be covered to not get sick AND look her best? 😭
Of course! There are endless ways to dress every body type, and just being Romantic doesn’t mean you can’t be covered! Being strategic about where your garments are fitted is key to avoiding that “frumpy” feeling (for any body type, really). This particular capsule was for a woman who lived in Brazil in a SUPER hot climate and she was very adamant that the outfits not be too covered-up for that reason.

I'm just generally frustrated about my body type kind of not fitting my needs and my personality, didn't mean to take it out on you 😂😅 I'm really trying my best with romantic clothing+looking serious and not "inviting".
