Hey guys! I have to correct myself - the clutch is from Loeffler Randall, not Proenza Schouler. Please forgive my mistake! Can't wait to hear about your Kibbe types, and feel free to DM me on Instagram if you want any help determining your ID! 🥰
I am a TR and hate the vintage look so it's refreshing to see you doing R with a modern take :). Can't wait for TR! It's also been a struggle to find a nice medium-length fitted blazer at a medium price for the past 3/4 years - all the shops only offer these masculine oversized blazers, and it's actually a nightmare for us 🤣🤣😘😘. Great editing, thank you
So glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely try to find a blazer for you for the TR video!! If you let me know more about yourself, what you like/dislike, and your style I would love to base the TR video around you 🥰
@@alyssarudman Could you use a soft autumn colour palette for the TR video? I pop in colours like dusty pinks, rust orange and muted olive but it's hard to find clothing that honours my TR frame and is also in the colours I enjoy. Although I have a very feminine style, I love ruffles, waist emphasis, and scoop necks but I still want to look chic, refined & modern so I definitely agree with the concerns of the commenter above. I find that most clothing does lean quite androgenous and boxy in terms of style which is something I don't like on myself so thank you so much for the videos you make! They're very helpful when it comes to navigating this super complex world of clothing.
@@eliakazmi Of course! I can definitely use a soft autumn color palette for the TR video - dusty pink, rust orange, and muted olive are beautiful colors!
So glad you found it helpful! Beyonce is a Kibbe-verified Romantic, but I do understand the controversy. I agree that she seems not to have a delicate bone structure per se. But body type is all about the proportions within an individual, not in comparison to others. Try looking at a photo of her without context of height, other people, high heels, etc and see what you think her body type is! I'd love to hear your opinion 🥰
She definitely has a dramatic essence. I have heard two different height for her, one that would maker her fall outside of the Romantic and one that has her within the requirements for Romantic.
I hope you like some of the ideas! Of course it would be better customized to you if we were to actually meet but this capsule was inspired by your request. Thanks again for your kind comments! 🥰
Great informative video. Would love to see gamine video for mum in her 40s, gamine style generally seems too young for women over 40 whose bodies are very different after having children. Thank you for the very helpful videos
@@alyssarudman if its ok to ask, do you have styles for petite that dosent look childish . Looking for some tips can find in a good staples recently looked up what i can style and end up with Kibbie romantic , Dark winter and Petite
@@Vixenette_5923 Yes I can definitely focus on that when I create the dark winter romantic capsule! In the meantime, you might look for flowy tops or blouses that can be tucked in, or dresses with waist emphasis. I don't think either of those will look childish on you! Another trick is to wear monochromatic or tonal color schemes - this is not required but can appear more mature and chic than color blocking on a petite romantic (although color block looks great on petite gamines).
I’d love to see a Romantic capsule wardrobe in a Dark Winter palette as well! Your edgy romantic video was great and I loved the tops you chose. I was professionally draped by House of Color as a “Sultry” “Jewel” Winter (appears to be the equivalent of a Dark Winter) with a Romantic Classic body/style essence. I’m 5’ 2” and busty and struggle most to find flattering jackets and coats that don’t overwhelm or leave me looking stocky. I really love the sultry silhouettes and fabrics recommended for romantics, but Ive have a hard time shopping for them and pulling together complete looks.
Always thought Im a gamine, but Im very curvy in my lower body, and kinda soft on the upper body.. and so short! Definitely a romantic. Also I naturally get inclined towards such clothes... And some classic pieces. Great comprehensive video though :)
@@alyssarudman Is there any difference between bold romantic and theatrical romantic? I seem to like both styles, along with classic... And would love a video about romantic x dark autumn. ❤️
@@kritikamargadarshini2866 when I say "bold romantic" here, bold describes the client's personal style and romantic describes her body type. So this video was for the Romantic body type. However the Theatrical Romantic is similar in a lot of ways to the Romantic, and a lot of the same recommendations apply!
Gosh these r so pretty but I find it impossible to be inspired bc so many of these tops and dresses won’t work for my bust size, (32JJ). It is already hard to be a romantic but I’m a romantic with a really large bust and only 18 so I have to find something in my style, big boob friendly, and also not granny looking…😭
Wrap tops in flexible fabrics might be a great go-to for you! Loose cowl necks showing a little bit of cleavage as well. Stretchy button up shirts with ruching could be nice as well. Scoop necks are good too. Good American might have some good basics for you. Make sure to include waist emphasis in your outfits to keep your looks young and fresh.
