Since we are talking about buffs I thought it was worth mentioning that defeating Bouffalant gives orange buff that makes your normal attacks apply slow on enemy pokemon and as for Ludicolo purple buff you deal more damage against pokemon with low health.
Omg I love the idea of making a discord for Pokémon unite, I love your channel so much! You’re such a great example of a great RUclipsr that interacts with their subscribers and creates a fun & safe community with them :)
I think stuns will always be most powerful because during most other stats effects the opponents can still fight back plus the can interrupt abilities that need to channel. Slows and roots are a close second since the can keep Pokémon in dot aoe effects longer plus make skill shots much easier to land. But I plan to main sludge/hex Gengar so poison all the way lol
Personally stun for me. There's nothing that gets me more frustrated than frequent stun because while poisoned, at least I'm still able to play and do something. While stunned, you're kinda just stuck there, can't do anything but watch the enemy possibly take you down. More only frustrating in games that have terrible stun balance and you can be restunned instantly.
Getting frozen/slowed is the worst. Although it's not technically a status effect or a buff/debut There are also knock ups/knock backs/grabs/pulls with cramorant snorlax slowbro etc. Very excited to play gengar and make some chaos in the jungle.
Question/potential correction: for Invulnerability, doesn't Eldegoss have invulnerability on its unite move? (When its in the air) or does that not count as the status, and is just some sort of intangibility. Also, where is the invulnerability in wigglytuff's kit?
Charizard actually doesnt have invulnerability, but rather a pseudo-type of invulnerability. Basically when he's using his unite move, he's in the air so melee attacks I believe cant hit him, but ranged attacks can. And DoT status affects cancels whenever you try to return to base it suucks
I think that ever ever status that stun you is the one I hate most. As good buff I love something that increase your sp.atk. so my moves will do more damage
I wish you mentioned unstoppable effect (for pokemon like Machamp with submission and crustle at the start of shell smash) I don't know what it does ;-;
The sheer amount of these that Eldagoss doesn't have is just sad since they're strictly support... meanwhile at least wigglytuff seems to have most of them lmao
Attackers=ranged assassins (some can be jungleler) Speedster=melee assassin (and jungleler) and all rounders=bruisers and of course supports=supports and tanks=tanks
I was hoping that you talked about Slowbro. Like when you hit him he gets blue life but I couldn't tell what it did. I thought it was shield but like it doesn't protect him or anything. Idk what it does :P Hopefully on another video Loving your coverage of the game :D
It’s his passive, the blue health is actually missing health but every time he uses an ability he gains a little bit of the blue health back allowing him to regenerate health more easily during combat.
QotD: Burn... cause it seems UP compared to its Main Game Version, causing Moves favoring it, especially Slowbro's Scald, to end up getting discriminated against. I wanna be able to have fun with Moves like Scald & Charizard's Flamethrower if I damn well feel like it... :( BQotD: Invincibility! What's not to love about being able to feel like ya can Star Power Mario around for a few seconds? :D

Hi Trainers
Burn annoys me because I think it’s overloaded, how does paralyze work?
Since we are talking about buffs I thought it was worth mentioning that defeating Bouffalant gives orange buff that makes your normal attacks apply slow on enemy pokemon and as for Ludicolo purple buff you deal more damage against pokemon with low health.
& yet again... why can't the game TELL US about stuff like this...? :(
@@JoshuaGanoTyraxLightning it does tell you this stuff in the tutorial

Yeah, stuns are so powerful and so many Pokemon have it 😭😭
@@SuperTeeds Which I guess is GOOD TO KNOW. It'll be less frustrating knowing that going in haha.
Thank you sooo much for all of the information, even tho ive played mobas for years each is different and complicated in their own way
Can't wait to see how the meta is! Gonna be exciting

Imagine a crazy cc chain, it would feel horrible 😭
@@SuperTeeds There's even a saying for that in Heroes of the Storm... "CC for Days"...
I play moba Freezes and stuns are always the most OP stats effects
gonna be my go to for unite content!
As a Mr. Mime main I loved stunning the opponents every 5 seconds LOL
HAHA chaotic energy
I agree with KiyeBerries... there's no way in hell Mr. Mime is a Support... he's a Killer in Disguise.
BTW,Are you from New Zealand? I love your accent so much
Sleep and Stun 100% immobility = death
Important note: All the listed statuses except for stun and regular slow are affected by Gengar’s Hex.
The statuses I don't like used against me is stun or sleep. Being stopped in my tracks is bad for me. Lastly, the Crit Rate buff is the strongest.
I fight A-Ninetails and forget that she can perm freze 🤦♂️

QOTD: Probably poison and stun, but gotta say we need no status affected to us haha.
Bonus QOTD: *All of them*😆
Have a great day 👍😊
Great vid as per usual! Do you know if burn/poison dmg wakes pokemon that are asleep? And also do they keep damaging those who are invulnerable?
I am not sure but logically, it should because it still is damage and it will effect those who are invulnerable after it wears off :)
Could have sworn charm status was also in the game. Don't know where I got tat from though
Edit: Ah it was Wigglytuff's ability. Not a status for now.
I wish you mentioned unstoppable effect (for pokemon like Machamp with submission and crustle at the start of shell smash) I don't know what it does ;-;

Eldegoss does but unsure what it affects yet :( Willl test it when the game is out! :D
@@SuperTeeds I had been wondering about that as well... did this Testing & its Results ever get Posted? Can't remember...
Do we know yet what bonuses red and blue buff gives? I'm mostly a jungler. But have not noticed yet what the jungle buffs do
The sheer amount of these that Eldagoss doesn't have is just sad since they're strictly support... meanwhile at least wigglytuff seems to have most of them lmao
So what archetypes (speedster, attacker, defender, etc.) correspond to the common archetypes in MOBAs?
Attackers=ranged assassins (some can be jungleler) Speedster=melee assassin (and jungleler) and all rounders=bruisers and of course supports=supports and tanks=tanks

gangar seems good too.... sleep, poison and burn too... if played correctly would be hard to counter... besides its one of my fav non legendary:)))))
Yeah, it has so muuuch!
I like gengar a lot to his kit looks great sadly his damage isn't the best compared to other pokemon in unite he falls off late game
His shadow ball can also apply slow and defense down. But you have to choose between that and his poison which determines your build.
