      1:25ish... Ya forgot to mention the part where the Aeos Cookie (& the other Score based Items) couldn't care less about the size of the Score, so dunk fast small often Goals. This makes it a lot less of a gamble. ;) With that said, definitely not the kinda Items just any Poke or Strat can use so can totally fairly be called one of those situational kinda Items, & 'situational' isn't good enough if trying to aim for S Tier.
      2:50ish... Ya know there's something wrong with an Item's Balance when the Meta demands putting that Item on EVERYONE... even Pokes & Strats that outright DESYNERGIZE with that Item... O_0 Not to mention it being so OP it's considered mandatory to be pseudo-down an Item for the whole first half of the Match till Unites actually come Online & Items that are useful during both halves of a Match are up in usefulness for twice the Match Time & still don't compete... O_0
      3:10ish... I'm still confused what info to believe or not believe in regards to Interaction between Energy Amplifier & Charizard's Unite Move... :(
      4:40ish... The Devs are fools (Or Trolls...) asking Players to not do anything for 8 seconds then thinking Float Stone's effect can then make those 8 seconds back up... :(
      5:50ish... Same thoughts as Float Stone. Can even go so far as to claim that these 2 Items, & playing the actual game, outright De-Synergizes with each other... D:
      6:10ish... This dude here is my answer to the QotD! Muscle Band Fav! Might is right! ^_^

    I have Rocky Helmet and Assault Vest on my Garchomp and I think it goes pretty well with it b/c Rocky Helmet synergizes with it's passive ability Rough Skin and Assault Vest to help it deal with ranged pokes so my Garchomp will stay healthy enough before a fight breaks out. Let's be real here, Garchomp only needs Muscle Band to get dps so I just focus on making it as hard to take down as possible. To me, it references how Garchomp could be used as a bruiser/tank pokemon in the original games to offer utility while doing loads of damage

      if u want to be harder to take down, you should switch out the helmet and assault vest for focus band for emergency healing and buddy barrier for survivability. helmet sucks because of the high cooldown on the return hit and assautl vest only works against special attacks (so only boosted attacks and abilities from special attack pokemon), so not against the heavy ranged-hitters atm; cinderace & greninja

    leftovers would actually be useful if the constant hp regen wasn't so damn low. 6 hp a second at lvl 20 is too damn low, it's not even a percent of an hp pool. If it was like 60hp a second, and the out of combat hp recovery happened faster, it would have a use on defenders or maybe a jungler.

    • @AresGod0fWar
      @AresGod0fWar 3 года назад

      I’m confused with your math here. Maybe I’m missing something with what you’re saying, but it regenerates 2% of your Pokémon’s HP at level 20 every second. It also adds 160 HP.
      So on a squishy like Pikachu:
      Base HP+ held item= 6460
      2% of that is 129HP/sec
      Tankier like Wigglytuff:
      Base 9452+160=9612
      2% of that is 192HP/sec
      I don’t know where the 6hp is coming from.
      Does it not work the way I described? I’ve seen multiple ticks in the 100s when I have had it equipped.
      Whether or not it’s worth it to take said item is up to the player. I think it’s okay for what it does. I’m assuming it’s best used as a laning item for sustain. The camps take a little bit to respawn once they’ve been taken so proccing the regen should be relatively easy. Save the berries for extreme trades.

    The reason flat stat numbers aren't a huge deal from what I found, is that about 30 points only amounts
    to about a 2-4% increase in damage for attacking stats.
    Plus with HP around 1,000 at lvl1 (i think that's right?) you'd need 2 maxed hp items just to increase your hp by half at most.
    and if those stats don't scale, which I think they don't, then they only matter for about the first few minutes of the game.

    What I’ve found amazing in terms of items isn’t just one, but a specific combination of two - Shell Bell and Amplifier. The cooldown reduction stacks, so your moves come back quickly and allow you to get healing off Shell Bell even more - while the Ults coming more frequently means you can be more frivolous with them (getting 4-6 ults in a game instead of 2-4). The last item depends on the specific mon

    I personally run Focus Band on most Pokémon, as long as they're not frail. (Then again, I've only ever used 3 Pokémon really well.) Defenders work best because they have high health stats and it's more effective. It's extremely overpowered, especially when you get extra health from a move or item. Focus Band has definitely won me a lot of battles, including a 1v1 against a Greninja that caught me off guard.
    Focus Band Blastoise works best in my opinion, specifically because of Blastoise's Unite Move. It heals you a bit, like every Unite Move, and it also gives you a shield. Because the Focus Band deals in percents instead of static numbers, if used at low health, the Unite Move combined with the Focus Band can bring you back up over half health, which is a lot if you're a defender.

    I don't think they need to nerf any items, but a few definitely need buffs.
    all the out of combat items need to have their effective timers lowered a lot, or give them a slight tweak, so the timer is the same but,
    only counts as being in combat when you take damage from non wild enemy, so you can farm & attack a bit without losing the buff.
    and rocky helmet just needs to have the range limit removed, the range for it to actually activate is tiny, like within melee range.
    So both because it has a cooldown and the tiny range its passive is pretty much useless.
    As for the items, I liked to use things situationally based on playstyle, but I guess you can say the best item is one that can fit on anyone,
    so I'd say the one that gives def & sp def and heals for 3 sec. when low hp.
    will help most players, and you can cheese it a bit if you know what you're doing. (I think?)
    But I'd actually put all the scoring items in A-tier, I thought they were bad at first too, but I learned differently after I tried it.

    I'm going to be honest, as a support (even a solo queue one) I really like Exp Share. It lets me attack mobs while still letting my lane partner get the full xp for last hitting it. As I understand it, if more than one player attacks a mob, there's a 30/70 split on XP. With Exp Share, it's 30/100. This lets me funnel XP where I want it rather than fighting people for XP or last hits. Admittedly my first MOBA was one where you wanted to attack mobs and let your carry last hit, so that may affect my playstyle, but Exp Share is set up perfectly for that kind of play, and I've never had any issues with it.

      I'm new to MOBA and started Unite last week. I attempted to participate in Ranked after a few days and it was zero fun because the teams of players who actually know each other and play together all the time made sure we couldn't score at all or really even participate. I hate that you can't immediately correspond with someone you add as a friend so I can't even build my own team. My son said it wasn't as toxic as League but he didn't think I should play ranked. That kind of sucks.

    I think EXP Share is really only for supports and defenders, and even then not necessarily all of them.
    As Eldegoss, it's pretty easy to just let your lane partner get the last hits on all the aipoms and audinos as you get into position, and it's pretty much active for the whole game after that as long as you stay aware.

Also in my opinion I agree with your tier list except Aeos Cookie, the cookie for me is a situational item, unlike the other 2 score-stat boosting item Aoes Cookie has pretty decent stats and incredibly powerful on tanks and supports who tends to goes scoring early, like Snorlax, Crustle, Wigglytuff and the recently released Blissey. Combining Aoes Cookie with Buddy Barrier and focusing on scoring early small amounts of points can REALLY help your tank and support snowball HP wise. Like with snorlax who already have massive amounts of HP to begin with, if you take Aoes Cookie to begin with it will boosts your Score Shield and boosts your early game HP to help you survive skirmishes and help your dealer.

    Amazing video, as always! Love your content!
    Personally, while I agree that items like the weight, the cookie, and the specs are very risky to take, the score shield is very underrated in terms of reducing that risk. Particularly for hyper mobile damage carries like Cinderace and Greninja who can weave in and out of enemy lines to sneak in scores, an Attack Weight and Score Shield combination does wonders for their snowballing. Also, like Buddy Barrier (though not as strongly) Score Shield gives flat HP to directly boost its effect and generally aid in survivability.
    That's why I think those two Pokemon are the best to go for those kinds of builds, since they are the kind of gambling characters with the immense outplay potential to go with it. The bad side of this build in the end would be that it only benefits you alone, while Buddy Barrier helps the team.

    Aeon cookie is super strong, people are sleeping on it. With 1 score it gives more hp than score shield, 2 scores gives you more hp than buddy barrier.
    I use it on gardevoir and it allows me to survive a lot of burst damage, super strong in the early/mid game.

    • @SporeVenom
      @SporeVenom 3 года назад

      Incorrect. In total (scoring all 6 times), it gives about 10% more health, whereas buddy barrier and focus band give roughly 30-40% (unless you're specifically talking about scoring early game only, in which case that is situational)

    • @EduardoKusky
      @EduardoKusky 3 года назад

      @@SporeVenom what are you talking about?
      Considering all itens at lvl 30.
      Buddy barrier gives 600 hp. Score shield gives 450 hp.
      Aeos Cookie gives 240hp + 200hp times every score, so it gives something between 240hp (0scores) and 1440 hp (6 scores).
      You don't get the effect from buddy barrier before you unlock your unite move, aeon cookie is super good.
      At lvl 4 gardevoir has 3363hp, aeon cookie stacked would give a 42%hp boost.
      Gardevoir has 6320hp at lvl 15. A fully farmed aeon cookie gives her 23% HP boost, buddy barrier gives less than 10%.
      Focus band does not give health. It regenerates your health, if you don't get bursted because it only activates at low health.

    • @SporeVenom
      @SporeVenom 3 года назад

      @@EduardoKusky this is what I'm referring to with focus band. In regeneration, it's essentially extra health. Also, your using Gardevoir as an example, which literally has the lowest HP out of everyone. I could say the same argument for Blissey who has 10,000 HP and make a strong counter point. Not only this, but how many times can you consistently dunk 6 times, especially earlier on? Furthermore, you can't refer to lvl 30 items as 95% of the player base will not have lvl 30 items, and even further, it is the ability of the held items that make them strong, not the added effects. (Your lvl 4 gard example is also impossible, a lvl 4 ralts is not going to have scored 6 times, ever. Maybe once, and maaaayyyybe once in a blue moon twice if lucky. Terrible example. If you're going to use an example, use an example that is actually realistic and doable in most games).

If they were changed to give a different amount of star increases based on how much points you score, 1 stack for every 10 points until you score a total of 60 points, would that make them better or too strong?

    EXP SHARE should be top tier, especially if you are a support/defender, it increases your lane partner's exp, the exp increase when you are the lowest is just a bonus, top and bot both should have exp share, your role as a support/defender is to boost your carry's potential

    Been a big fan of your videos and they've been of great help on my won grind to Masters. I'm just wondering about your comments on shell bell and Energy Amplifier.
    Based on the stats of Shell Bell (flat SP attack+, HP recov per successful skill hit), isn't the CD Reduc also a plus for sp. attackers as well? Since we need higher CD reduction considering that we rely more on our skills than autos?
    I haven't tested out the numbers on my end as well so I can't really comment anything else about it. I was also wondering are CD reduction items worth it to have for sp. attackers (Shell Bell, Energy Amplifier)? cause I've been using both Shell Bell and Energy Amplifier solely because I can get 9% CD Reduc. which is very important for sp. attackers.
    Anyway, I hope you get to read this and get answers as well!

      Well, to me it seems fairly intuitive. Slowbro heals from damage and reduces prots when he gets damaged so if you heal while doing even slightly more damage it works with his passive. I've won a two vs. one against a full health Wiggly/Crustle in Masters. I use Amnesia though.

    Eh score shield should just be S, used on all tanks, certain all rounders, talonflame, and I've even been seeing a sp goggles, score shield setup doing really good in masters for geng, mime, and elde.
    I can't see a scenario grabbing shell bell is good with that passive CD, energy amp can straight up replace it plus having unite move back even if slightly faster is survivability in itself. By virtue of sp goggles and score shield setup would put sp goggles in B.
    Reason sp goggles is used more is because unlike attackers and tanks scaling items, sp attackers don't really have much other options competing and goggles give more sp atk than late game glasses at 3 scores if I remember except for gard/pika who mostly take the setup so late game they can score too but I'd recommend wise glasses for them.
