The grind is difficult, I totally feel you on that so I hope this guide will help make it easier in someway! Thanks for watching Trainers! **Super IMPORTANT**: Drednaw debuff has been removed! Feel free to take it whenever it's up! **Extra Tips I forgot to mention:** If you have Buddy Barrier, sometimes I will use my Unite move just to save my teammate in a team fight even if I am not low health. Saving that teammate can turn the fight around! - If you have low points, you can dunk during a fight to gain shield, exp & invulnerability (for a short time.) Scoring gives you heals and exp so use this to your advantage! - If the goals only have let's say, 20/80 left and a team mate has 50 and you only have 25, for example, LET the team mate with the higher points put theirs in first! This will over-cap it and you end up having more points on your end! I'm soloquing to Masters and it's a pain aye. I'm like calling bottom to get me lane partner to rotate with me to bottom so we can team fight ol mate Drewzy and we get there and get team wiped and I'm like fknnnnnnnn mate. Why aren't you aware of the map how are you in Ultra with me right now :( I had top laners stay in the top lane for the first 6 minutes of the map! I don't know what's going on there. Anyway yeah I don't mean to whinge but yeah. my teams a bit how ya going 90% of the time kinda like me on a good day I spose
I played 100% solo queue to masters. These are great tips. I would add that it is important to own your own mistakes and learn from them. Also, some games are too difficult to carry. Be at peace with that and move on.
Damn, I solo queued my way to ultra 2 with Venusaur then I found a team of ultras and they turned me into a Lucario main xD I eventually made it to masters :)
Always a good idea to take a break if you're tilting or getting mad at the game. I just took a break for 2 weeks then came back and blasted through the latter half of ultra to get master today. I learnt this from when i used to play overwatch ranked years ago, but stop playing as soon as you're on a losing streak or getting annoyed by teammates etc. You'll thank yourself for it in the long run
Own your mistakes is super important. My brother liked the game but basically stopped playing because everytime he loses, it's always because "My team is so stupid," even when I watch him jump into 1v2 fights instead of just going to grind and other things like that. He plays CounterStrike and is used to having friends to team with, but I'm basically the only person he knows personally who plays, so he just stopped
@@finalcountdown3210 Little kids and average adults do that all the time, no one tries to see the blatant obvious mistakes they make, they rather blame teammates as opposed to see what they did wrong in a game. When I started playing pokemon unite as my first moba I was that one guy not battling dreadnaw, then I realized how important he was and how my sneak scores weren't a good idea lol
The “don’t take Zapdos if winning” has been the literal reason why I’m stuck in Vet 4-5. We will be in the lead and basically got the game in the pocket and the damn team just blindly rush zapdos and get annihilated and the enemy team comes in and taps the zap.
Assuming you've probably ranked up by now, but I'm in a similar situation where I'm back and forth between Vet 5 and Ult 1. Using the green shield Retreat signal and circling around below Zapdos has worked for me to get Teammates to stop attacking Zapdos
You’re far more likely to lose from blindly rushing zapdos while winning, it makes it easier for the enemies to steal it while you’re distracted and not defending
I'm literal in vet class 2 and in pain cuz the low health goal o was about to goal a stupid dead smol brain Gardevoir had low points but had enough to goal it SHE/HE GOALED IT WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO GOAL 30
Recently the grind's been really against me. I went on a good run towards vet 3 but then went on huge losing streaks and now I'm back in exp4, which was 3 until i got out of the loop. You've given me quite some inspiration to go on with the grind by sharing your lose streaks and where you dropped to during them. I've been taking breaks on occasion to chill out after screaming at my screen and spam pinging in an attempt to get the new players to do what's more important than they're doing.
Gotta be careful about spam pinging. Humans will be humans and will sometimes ignore you just because they are annoyed by what you're doing. Sometimes you've just got to adapt and make do with what you've got. You know you should be trying to get dreadnaw but if you're the only person trying to contest it....just get some farm and dunk some points while the enemy team is busy. It's not ideal but it's making do with the situation you're in.
Guys this tips is not to sleep on. I just reached master few days before this video was released and 100% of Teeds’ points are true. Btw thanks Teeds! I reached master based on your previous videos as well.
@@Renewed_ChristianOfficial just my opinion, pikachu is Sp. Attacker so he’s my build Carry build - Choice specs, Energy Amp, Wise glasses Tank build - Choice specs/wise glasses, buddy barrier, Focus band Scoring - Choice specs/wise glasses, score shield, Sp. Attack specs Choose thunder and thunderbolt as skills.
Nice tips. I would have added (just for the ones who watch your videos and go share some wisdom) to know when to score or who you should let score. If the enemy goal zone has 5 points remaining don't score if you got 8 points and your ally next to you got 40 points to score. It can make a big difference in the end, especially in close games. And losing because of something that is 100% avoidable is infuriating ^^ cheers! Keep it up
Also...if you see two people with 50 points trying to score after 2mins on the same goal.....sneak your 30 points in ahead of time because only one 50 point person can score at a fresh goal after 2mins (double points).
I also always try to help those like following those people who have 40 or 50 points.I try to protect them and also end up getting annihilated most of the time...😞😞😞
As a player who reached Masters in solo queue, I can tell these are amazing tips. Also, these can be general tips on how to play any match flawlessly, so thanks for your hard work as usual. I'd like to add one more tip, which is 100% situational: take advantage of the small Zapdos fights/poke trades as soon as it spawns to score especially if the enemy team still has one tier 1 zone up. As a solo queue player I did it quite often in the higher ranks and sometimes it made the difference between victory and defeat. However, if the Zapdos skirmish turns into an actual team fight, you can be the one letting your whole team down for just doing this. All in all the tip would be map awareness: keep track of your teammates' position and level - sometimes they may even be able to win a 4v5.
I just wanna take the time to tell you, that you out of the people i follow for the Pokémon Unite advice, have been the most genuine and realistic with everything you’ve been talking about with your videos. Absolutely love it and appreciate you taking the time to give everyone this advice and being honest with it. You’re the best! Def one of my fave RUclipsrs! Keep it up!
A few things I'd add: -While it's easier to feel more impactful on characters that do a lot of damage, it's better to always have a defender and support than it is to lack either. Even if your defender and support picks aren't meta, it's much better than not having them. Crustle and Slowbro are given out for free. I think everyone should learn one or the other, and try both of them and all their moves out in standard extensively to see what they're comfortable with when filling that role. I had to fill as Crustle for 9 games in a row where we had no defenders, when I initially planned to reach master with Lucario/Greninja, instead reaching it as Crustle. All items I had on Crustle were below level 20. People think defenders and supports don't carry, but they carry extremely hard by enabling the rest of the team to succeed, setting up more opportunities for them, and by helping win more team fights by initiating them well. Defenders can make huge plays like getting a big heavy slam, surf, or X-scissor. Supports sustain an entire team and help make big pushes and decisions that win games. Giving multiple players healing, shields, movement speed, cc immunity, and/or attack speed goes a long way over the course of a game. -Accountability goes a long way. Everyone makes at least a few major mistakes in their games, most players make dozens of at least small mistakes per game, and owning up to mistakes and what you can control instead of letting 'bad' teammates live rent free in your head will help a lot with both enjoyment of the game and improvement. You can't really control what the players on your team do, but you can set up opportunities for them by playing your role the best you can. I see a lot of people blame everything on their teammates while taking no accountability, including a lot of twitch streamers, and I feel like this is the biggest factor holding people back. Something that helps me in every game's ranked mode is stopping for the day, or at least a few hours if I lose twice in a row, so that it avoids becoming a loss streak.
I love how calm and soothing you are when it comes to this game. Although i sadly have to admit im a hot-head when it comes to ranked, i definitely try my best to enjoy the game. Sometimes (more often then not) my teammates make it extremely hard to do so. A few tips i have learned that you didn’t mention: 1.) DONT TAKE YOUR JUNGLER’S MONS IN MID IN THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME! 2.) DO NOT STEAL YOUR JUNGLER’S BUFF’S!!!!!!! (Early game to mid game)(unless they arent in mid and they are clearly clueless bots) 3.) IF SOMEONE PICKED JUNGLER/CALLED CENTRAL AREA FIRST, DON’T COMPETE WITH THEM JUST SWITCH MONS!! 4.) IF A JUNGLER COMES TO ASSIST YOU IN EITHER LANE, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO!! NOT!! LEAVE THE FIGHT!!!!!! Just because we’re 2 ish levels ahead doesnt mean we can 1v3 almost full health enimies…. And finally, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEEEEEEAAAASSSEEEE participate in team fights when you can obviously see one is going on and youre the only one in top lane by yourself. This concludes my ted talk. have fun everyone and best of luck!! congrats on masters rank teeds and thank you for all the tips and tricks! You are the ray of hope we need in this dark time of unbalanced pokemon ranked multiplayer.
same with almost all mobas... - biggest tip is to focus on maintaining farm early (and maintaining throughout game), then aggressively 3 - 4 man diving early then dispersing to stealing their jungle buffs when they are up (and you can 1v2 or at least escape/contest) - practice and make sure the broken/op champions are chosen in your team comp. - focus on taking the two jungle buffs if your mid is not properly timing (overly staying and skirmishing instead of taking camps). Carry your games. - buddy barrier and saving ults for fights around objectives.(Don't ult with 2:05 left in the game, just to stay alive in a 1v1. just die, respawn for zapdos with ult) GL.
Taking a break is such an underrated tip. I guarantee you players, we will make bad decisions unconsciously when we're on a losing streak, whether or not you want to admit that you're frustrated. In a fast-paced 10-min matches, 1 bad decision is worth so much (to the enemy team), and may turn a close match to become a little bit further out of hand. Just accept the loss, you may not know this but some teams are better than your carry-ing ability xD. Additional personal tip, I tend to play better and win more if I play some music and mute the game BGM haha. I leave the sound effects on of course as indicators, but listening to my own stuff seems to help put me in a more comfortable state, and hence (i guess) make better decisions. Great vid! Subbing!
This was very helpful when I was still stuck in expert class. I'm watching this video again because now I am stuck in ultra class and I just needed a quick reminder with all these great tips 😃
Really great guide! Also just want to add to Tip 7: If you're on Handheld mode, you can touch the screen to navigate around as well. Sometimes it's a lot more useful than L button + Left Analog for me :)
12. Defending - totally agree. I’ve seen it multiple times. My team scored and decided to stay near enemy base or is just farming camps and in the meantime opposing team Pokémon are delivering 50 points to our bases… Sometimes “retreat” works, but usually I am on my own trying to defend 2-3 places at the same time, which is impossible.
Thank you for the videos! I’ve been getting into Pokémon unite for the last couple of weeks and your channel is one I keep revisiting. You help make the game more fun; definitely deserves a sub. 👊🏽
Can confirm solo as a support main has been tough for me. Stuck in expert 2, Currently on a losing streak. Keep feeling I'm the reason my team loses. Hoping to team up with one of my. friends soon though. I appreciate these guides, they've helped me quite a bit.
I got masters w/ 70.5% win rate filling for my team and playing basically only tanks. If you are COMPLETELY new to MOBAs I would suggest learning with tanks for a few games. Its not that you cant play damage at all, but tanks are more forgiving because they survive more damage, and generally less mechanically intense to play which allows you to focus more on your macro and map movements (the more important part of the game). Once you get an idea for how the game flows, where to be at what times, and how enemy pokemon work, it will be much easier to transition into more squishy pokemon and do well. Other thing... It goes along with the stealing camps tip, but the two things I would add is know the timers for when things spawn and respawn (small camps in lane early game and big objectives), and prioritize farm > kills and random fights. You really shouldn't be fighting much in lane unless it is over a contested camp, they over extend, or you are getting a gank. Before 7:30 your goal should be farm as much as possible to be as strong as possible so you can snowball (without stealing your junglers camps). You should 100% group for Drednaw and fight, but once you push the enemy off, do not chase them and give them a chance to spawn back. take the buff and go farm or rotate up to Rotom for another fight and farm on the way there. farm farm farm, then be ready for 2nd Drednaw. Outside of major objectives, you should almost always be farming something. Higher level = huge power spike and the most consistent way to get a higher level is farm non-stop.
Usually for the beginning I wasted my coins on a Dragonite, and used that for a long while. My main moves were hyper beam and dragon dance. Outrage had a stun relay, and I mostly protected my team and I was sometimes crowded with enemies, so if I was delayed I would have a better chance to faint. The items for my Dragonite we're an eject button, focus band, scope lenses, and a muscle band. (I sometimes swapped the scope lenses with a buddy barrier) I love Unite and it always makes my day to enter new events and get new Pokemon to move up to higher ranks :)
Thank you for sharing your guide. I've been stuck in Veteran for a while now and as you mentioned, in this ELO, it definitely feels like whoever you're paired with, is like a huge coin toss. There's some games where my team is fairly competent and adapt to each other's playstyles but there's also a lot of games where I have teammates who don't focus on the minimap at all. That simple mistake has costed many losses in my ranked matches. What I've been doing lately, is trying to cover for what my teammates aren't exactly good at and trying to fill before the match begins if needed. Nonetheless, it's still stressful and taking breaks right now seems to help the most for me lol. Hopefully, I'll get to Masters soon! I was lucky enough to play a full masters team one time cause I duo'd with a friend that was also in Masters, and it felt great seeing players who fundamentally understand the game, and know when to group. After that experience, I want to strive so much more!
As someone who solo queued his way to masters I fully agree with the tips in the video. The only thing I would add is that it's incredibly important to always be farming exp in wild pokemon. Especially if you are losing. Both levels and unite moves are super important in this game and to turn a game round you need both of these things. You never want to be just waiting, if you are doing nothing you should be farming something.
That was an amazing break down. So many good tips! And your right, role que would be great. Like over watch you have open and role ques. Problem is how many people are playing. There’s not enough atm to support open que ranked. It seems they prefer people get quick matches and it be less balanced in competition 🤷♂️
Thank you for making this guide, I think all I needed was confidence. I did grind my way up to ultra 3 solo queue, but duo queued after that and went on a winning streak and yesterday I finally reached Master! Couldn't have done it without this video!
Hi Teeds, You are absolutly right with the anger and frustration the game can give to the players. Mobas can really bring out emotions that are very unhealthy including myself. To make pauses and calm down is a really helpful thing. I think most of the bad feelings are pointed towards the other players, more than to ourselfes. I cannot change the performance of the other players. So it helps me personally to imagine that the other 9 players are computers especialy since the possible comunication is so small. So only my performance counts for me. Give the best i can and everything else is computers fault 😅😅 Its really nice of you to also include such sort of tips for your subscribers, to keep them all healthy. Greetings
Sometimes i wish there was a way to make it mandatory to watch your videos in order to play unite. Too many people that still don’t know how to play that can make games extremely frustrating. Thank you for doing what you do i will continue you to promote you to the people i know that play.
Based on my one month experience in Pokémon Unite, I realized that there are two types of players who main speedsters: the attackers and the scorers. Both of them defend your base and goal zones, the only difference is that attacker speedsters do not focus on scoring but focus on making opportunities for teammates to score. Scorer speedsters, on the other hand, always score when they have atleast have half or full Aeos Energy in their arsenal. For me, I'd always use Focus Band for survivability and Attack Weight for the attack increase everytime you score. But when you use Attack Weight, it is crucial to score, otherwise you won't get attack increases.
Hi, Super teeds! I watched your video about getting to Master Rank and I was able to achieved it by going with friends and then solo queued at the very end of Ultra 5. Your advices on playing Ranked yesterday for me was VERY HELPFUL and I am truly grateful for your advices. I want to thank you for posting Blastoise video that made me Main Blastoise as it made me reached Masters with friends and solo queued alone! I'll never forget this! 🙏🙏🙏
thanks for this guide! i've been solo queueing since launch and had a hard time climbing. i got to vet 1 a couple times and dropped back down to expert 5 a couple times as well. your tips are really helpful and knowing other people have some bad games too helps me to not get so upset as much : )
I'm a support main, both in League of Legends and in Pokemon Unite. So far I have solo/duo qued up to Vet and am still sub 100 games total (wish I could see what all were ranked). In Beginner and Great matches I was happy that I was duo queing with a Zeraora jungle since he was able to compensate for all of the "antics", to say it nicely, that were going on. Once getting into expert, being a Support main got a lot easier. People were mostly performing their roles to an acceptable standard. Usually something I could adapt to in the first few mins and adjust my play to support my laner and team better. I'm mostly an Eldagloss and Blissy main and it's been crucial choosing the right pokemon to support with. You can easily tell games where you know you would have loss going with a different choice. Now I'm in Vet and things are still seeming pretty easy and I know I'll be able to make it into ultra super easy too. Moving forward however I know there are a few things I need to work on. Coming over from League of Legends, I have a good awareness of spacing, cooldowns, who to engage, what fights are worth picking, etc etc on the combat side. What I do struggle with are the more Pokemon Unite specific mechanics. Scoring when you can and finding the time to score are very important in the game. Too many times do I allow myself to get too many points before trying to score. The respawn for most of the match is so quick that by the time you get people down in team fights, the first from the fights are already re-spawning and either making it back to lane or using a leap pad to stop you. I'm use to winning and then farming but in this game you win and score asap. The lower you keep your points, the more you can take advantage of small gaps of time to get points in.
I already know most and I agree. But the advice to stop when you feel frustrated, hits hard. I kinda tried pushing, even how much I knew it wasn't my fault. But my ability to cooperate was going down, cause I was losing trust on players to play well as each lost I got.
I reached master rank recently myself with 66% winratio and only by playing solo que … It was so damn hard and frustrating, but I am quite happy now :D I agree with all the tips explained in your video, very well done! It
Congrats on getting to Masters. I actually just got to Masters recently, and I won a lot of games where I scored literally 0 points. However, I had some of the most impactful plays in those games like stealing Zapdos/Dreadnaw, CC chaining an enemy, or just dealing tons of damage from the back line. Every game, I would try to pick out one or two things that I personally could have done better regardless of what my team was doing. It helped me improve very quickly and not blame other people as much.
Totally agree with you on everything there. I'm Master rank too, I got it when Cinderace was the strongest Pokemon and there were so many games where I was too busy being on top of objectives, zoning and killing the enemy for my team to score. I would end up with like 10-15 kills and 0 points, but my whole team would give me "good jobs".
The aussie ping feels is a time for sure, although it feels rad when the frame rate drops mid fight and when it catches back up you're standing victorious. The stress part of that isn't rad though.
Playing ranked is so stressful but fun. I constantly have a win-lose-win-lose thing going on. I get mad at my teammates for not doing the obvious, but hopefully I can remember to just keep farming instead. Thank you for the video!
Thank you for the guide! Very useful! New players should be required to watch this video

I have great tip for score: (idk if work or not) You need have paper and pen , make a line in the middle on the paper, your teammate and opposing teammate, if someone score, you need to write down quickly and try to math fast so yeah lol
Another tip: if one of your ally is goaling make sure to be with them and defend them It increases their goaling speed and the chances of actually goaling the goal
Teeds, I hope you take this as a compliment, but I'm having a hard time focusing on the the tips with how awesome your plays are. Like, seriously, your Gengar is... *chef's kiss*
As a main, Gengar is a really fun mon to play as. The only problem is you have to be very accurate at aiming your moves, or you'll lose the chance to deal combos and possibly even get yourself killed in the process. Wether it be the shadow ball + dream eater moveset or the sludge bomb + hex moveset. Happy haunting everyone!
I would like to see a video of every Pokemon with best moveset you feel + what held items + battle item. And I agree the matchmaking is horrible. I try to play about 10 games and night just feels like I'm constantly teaming up with four other people who have no clue what they're doing. Like a ninetails who just Auto attacks and nothing else.
I think the most important tip for solo queue players is to pick Pokemon that can hard carry games, instead of picking for the team composition. Supports/Defenders are more suited for playing in parties, because they rely on having competent teammates who are actually able to take advantage of the benefits that you can provide to the team in order to carry, which is not always gonna be the case when you're playing with randoms. The moment I stopped picking Snorlax just because my team lacked a Defender and simply went Cinderace/Greninja every game my winrate went up significantly. Now once you do get to Master, this isn't really as applicable, because at that point you're more likely to be getting teammates who have a decent understanding of the game, so you'll actually want to pick around the team comp.
I agree and disagree at the same time. Not having a good DPS is definitely noticeable in any game, but I still feel you can carry a game as support/tank. I used to say this all the time, “CC wins games.” The enemy carry can’t do anything if they’re stun locked. This is something Snorlax can do with ease. I had one of the worst Gengars I have ever seen, BUT we ended up winning some important team fights because I was able to keep them locked down with Snorlax. My DPS didn’t have the best micro play, but we still won, and thankfully so LMFAO. I haven’t touched the healers yet, so I don’t know of their potential to solo carry, but if the mon has a good form of CC I say it’s a safe pick to carry a game as long as you know when to go in, and when to retreat. I know the value of a fed carry, but eventually the team fight will come and if you have bad initiators I feel like that’s almost just as bad as having a lackluster DPS. A competent team would just 5 man focus you down. I have carried my fair share of games as DPS so I totally get what you’re saying, and this comment isn’t meant to argue.
@@AresGod0fWar Fair point, but I can't tell you how many times I've zoned off entire enemy teams off of objectives playing Snorlax, only to see my teammates are busy farming or just plain doing nothing instead of securing the objective or trying to win the teamfight. It's much more reliable to simply secure the objectives or wipe the enemy team yourselves instead of CCing them or zoning them off and praying to god that your team takes advantage of that.
@@wicke_o7 Oh, dude trust me. I know. Lmfao same has happened to me. It sucks so bad!!! I’ve also had teams not group with me when I’m literally melting the enemy. It sucks because I can’t type anything. “Protect me. We win.” I just gotta hope they’ll follow up on the plays. The thing that sucks about solo queue.
Hi @SuperTeeds big fan just wanna say that I saw you were using muscle band and poke like ninetales(comment before seeing the fulll video) but when you select the poke for the match there is a special attack and an attack symbol below this shows what type of pokemon it is. And the muscle band boosts the physical attack and wise glasses boosts special attack so even if you use pokemon like ninetales with maxed out muscle band it won't have any effect hope it helps
something I would add is don't take your junglers adds and buffs, the longer they need to level the longer it will take till they can help out top or bottom and their ganks may not be as effective till later. All the things you mentioned are good tips quite helpful :)
Take a rest I think is the best advice from this video. Also I would say another tip could be: - pick your main, a pokemon you really like with a playstyle that suits you, learn it, master, improve on it, experiment with items and take advice from videos and you will eventually find your dreamlike combo. This makes your road to ranked very enjoyable despite the frustration. My main is Talonflame and I absolutely love it, I've finally found the best combo for me with goal getter, score shield, attack weight and muscle band. I just snipe people with Brave bird from afar when they are low enough and win team fights that way, also steal zapdos.
Thank you for the drednaw debuff about Zapdos didnt know that I knew the majority though currently stuck around Vet 4 I’ll probably get ultra and call it.
First of all I will say this, my advice is for getting out of ultra since as far as I'm concerned getting to ultra is child's play. Always try to play a pokemon who can secure objectives from the enemy team such as (surf)greninja, gardevoir, machamp, lucario, talonflame, and (solarbeam)venasuar. That being said I do not recommend venasuar because it lacks mobility and doesn't have the CC gardevoir has. You can play whoever you want to don't get me wrong, but you can't rely on your team being good enough to always win a teamfight for dreadnaws and if need be zapdos. Personally idc about role too much in ultra rank but try for jungle if you have a damage dealer who's also good for objectives except for maybe venasuar. For the first dreadnaw teamfight always try to kill minions as much as possible between trades, getting your unite move esp as a laner can heavily impact this first fight. Lastly when zapdos is up and you're ahead in addition to not touching zapdos I highly recommend advancing to a goal when enemies are down, even if you can't score, being able to delay members from going towards zapdos waste their time. Of course only try this if you're healthy or can heal outside of base like greninja/snorlax/(night slash)absol or have a godlike escape tool like various speedsters/all rounders/greninja. You can probably tell from my post greninja is what took me from the beginning rank to masters. While it's frowned upon to not use buddy barrier I pref running energy amp to get back greninja's unite for an engage tool rather than wasting it as a panic button since he's one of the few attackers with an actual engage tool. Otherwise pretty much everything else is nailed in the video. I almost forgot to mention this, you get back your ultimate by farming and scoring goals, forget about scoring goals so make sure you're always trying to farm and check if a nearby teammate has their unite because if you have yours and an ally doesn't you could hold off last hitting and let them get the farm.
i played solo queue, zeraora with muscle band, focus band, buddy barrier, this will get you there because he is op as heck. discharge and spark in jungle
Thank you very much for these tips, I've been playing since mobile release and currently in veteran but struggling to get to ultra, this will help a lot 👍
please, if your team doesn't have a defender, choose mamoswine if you still want to do damage and cc without being squishy. I got to master 2 days ago, mamoswine and blissey carried me, with mamo we'd win every top lane every single game bc the corphish wasn't even contested since we'd get it in the first second, we would steal their farm constantly, ice shard and tackle steals so easily and swinub does surprising damage, and if you get level 6 before drednaw it's ggs for top, it's a stunfest even just with icicle crash and tackle (NEVER choose ice fang, unless it's for funs and you're winning by a landslide) by the time you get earthquake you can do almost half damage to the enemy if you have a level advantage ( NEVER choose high horsepower, too much startup for the last hit, too little range, earthquake has a lot of startup, but it's bigger range and better cc, high horsepower can do good cc, but the icicle earthquake combo does so much stun and cc, it just plain better) I gotta say mamo does fall off a bit late game, but it's only on the last 2 mins, and even so, it doesn't fall off all that much.
I would recommend to let the highest goal when the base is low health cuz it will say the total they goal for example some guy goaled 50 points to 4 goal to destroy base he goals it the goal will say 50 I lost a match because a Gardevoir destroyed a goal with low points it wasn't enough to make more points
Hey I think I read your held items guide on pokemon website you're an incredible player lol I'm just starting out this game & got ways to learn & this video got some useful tips I just got to great rank now & stuck on solo mode
I really like your videos you're really awesome ....... I purchased Gengar last night but it didn't worked much well but after viewing your video I tried your tricks and really it worked thanks
I'm so happy I was able to solo q all the way to masters. It was a grind but it felt good. Now I'm working in my second account to masters solo. No I'm not smurfing. As a solo player I need to be at least 3 times as good as the average person to be able to carry and climb in masters. I'm no where close to that so I'm practicing my skills on my 2nd climb. Just a warning for everyone who is thinking about doing a 2nd climb, it feels harder then the first! Good luck trainers! I'll see you at the Indigo Plateau.
This needs Proliferated so much! :D I'm really looking forward to that incoming Controls Guide, & hope it'll also be able to be of use to my future attempt to Xbox Controller Series X - Shock Blue the Mobile Version when Mobile Version finally arrives. It's gonna be a whole new world for me trying to Controller a MOBA for the first time ever, & there's no way in hell I can ever Phone Controls a MOBA. My last MOBA was HotS & I Keyboard & Mouse that one. IMHO 98% of games, Mouse Aiming is >>>> Joystick Aiming for accuracy. Edit: Also, now that I think about it, I wonder if my X Series's Share Button can work in Unite? Unite would be especially a cool kinda game to be able to one button nab Screenies for... :D
Congrats Teeds!! Happy for youuuu!!! I’m still chilling at Ultra 1 since uni is killing me and I haven’t had much of a chance to playyy ugh. Anyway, great video as always! Slowly getting towards the 100k subs, I estimateee about a week? 😂 Keep it up!!
I think that since you can queue up with friends who are lower rank than yourself, it influences a lot the matchmaking. I for one stopped playing with my beginner/great league friends on ranked since i'm in Vet and would end up losing a lot of games
I think you left a really good hint in the outro that you didn't put on the list. That is to reflect on your games. Don't just mindlessly grind ranked games, you have to actively correct yourself so that you are playing as optimally as possible. Maybe there was a time where you lost by like 10 points, but at one point in the game, you could've scored but you chose to chase a kill and didn't get it, meaning you didn't score. Stuff like that you need to recognise and fix.
I am playing solo through out this game ....just reached ultra 2 days ago....using talonflame...and also used Greninja and zeraora in masters ....its tough to play solo coz no idea what team you get and also many players go offline which makes things far harder 😐😐
Tip 11 is a tip you really need to follow is cause this one game our snorlax was chasing down an ivysaur and left alone at top trying to take rotom and unfortunately two other Pokémon came and stole rotom and our top lane got destroyed
really love this guide 😍 but yeah still depends on your teammates. most of the time they are so annoying, they thought the priority is to kill the opponent, just kill then that's it to the point they forgot to even score at least 1. lol
Love your guides @superteeds ! Not sure if you shared it in your other guides, but another tip is to kill the opposing jungler after they get buffs. Because this will pass on the buff to the Pokémon who finished the kill.
As someone who got to masters solo queing I say easiest was is to ues pokemon with high carry potential as in solo que you can't regularly count on your team
My tip is to protect your teammates when they are scoring to make sure that they score and get more points. And also to always use sylveon gardevoir and tsareena since their moves are so broken and powerful
- If you have low points, you can dunk during a fight to gain shield, exp & invulnerability (for a short time.)
Scoring gives you heals and exp so use this to your advantage!
- If the goals only have let's say, 20/80 left and a team mate has 50 and you only have 25, for example, LET the team mate with the higher points put theirs in first! This will over-cap it and you end up having more points on your end!

Hello can you help me promote my channel
What is your winrate? 😉
22matches 78% greninja
I'm soloquing to Masters and it's a pain aye. I'm like calling bottom to get me lane partner to rotate with me to bottom so we can team fight ol mate Drewzy and we get there and get team wiped and I'm like fknnnnnnnn mate. Why aren't you aware of the map how are you in Ultra with me right now :( I had top laners stay in the top lane for the first 6 minutes of the map! I don't know what's going on there.
Anyway yeah I don't mean to whinge but yeah. my teams a bit how ya going 90% of the time kinda like me on a good day I spose
Do you have a good gengar build using hex and sludge bomb?
I played 100% solo queue to masters. These are great tips. I would add that it is important to own your own mistakes and learn from them. Also, some games are too difficult to carry. Be at peace with that and move on.
This is a great tip, thanks for adding it!
Using the green shield Retreat signal and circling around below Zapdos has worked for me to get Teammates to stop attacking Zapdos
true
THIS. why some people always say "DON'T TAKE ZAPDOS IF WINNING". zapdos is instant win, if we dont get zapdos we can lose.
@SuperTeeds can you make a video about the items that are important to Pikachu
@@Renewed_ChristianOfficial just my opinion, pikachu is Sp. Attacker so he’s my build
Carry build - Choice specs, Energy Amp, Wise glasses
Tank build - Choice specs/wise glasses, buddy barrier, Focus band
Scoring - Choice specs/wise glasses, score shield, Sp. Attack specs
Choose thunder and thunderbolt as skills.
Keep it up
That's a fantastic tip, I completely forgot! Thank you
Also...if you see two people with 50 points trying to score after 2mins on the same goal.....sneak your 30 points in ahead of time because only one 50 point person can score at a fresh goal after 2mins (double points).
Keep it up!
Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me this! I really appreciate it
Me coming home from a stressful day at work:
Me after watching this video:
Thank you for all those tips and neat little tricks, Teeds!

A few things I'd add:
-While it's easier to feel more impactful on characters that do a lot of damage, it's better to always have a defender and support than it is to lack either.
I got to platinum rank in Overwatch by stopping playing ranked after 1 loss for the day. With Zenyatta. Solo que mostly.
I love how calm and soothing you are when it comes to this game. Although i sadly have to admit im a hot-head when it comes to ranked, i definitely try my best to enjoy the game. Sometimes (more often then not) my teammates make it extremely hard to do so.
A few tips i have learned that you didn’t mention:
1.) DONT TAKE YOUR JUNGLER’S MONS IN MID IN THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME!
2.) DO NOT STEAL YOUR JUNGLER’S BUFF’S!!!!!!! (Early game to mid game)(unless they arent in mid and they are clearly clueless bots)
3.) IF SOMEONE PICKED JUNGLER/CALLED CENTRAL AREA FIRST, DON’T COMPETE WITH THEM JUST SWITCH MONS!!
I cried waterfalls of tears when I hit Masters in the first season. Solo queuing in season 2 feels like an even harder challenge.
same with almost all mobas...
- biggest tip is to focus on maintaining farm early (and maintaining throughout game), then aggressively 3 - 4 man diving early then dispersing to stealing their jungle buffs when they are up (and you can 1v2 or at least escape/contest)
- practice and make sure the broken/op champions are chosen in your team comp.
- focus on taking the two jungle buffs if your mid is not properly timing (overly staying and skirmishing instead of taking camps). Carry your games.
- buddy barrier and saving ults for fights around objectives.(Don't ult with 2:05 left in the game, just to stay alive in a 1v1. just die, respawn for zapdos with ult)
GL.
Great vid! Subbing!
That gengar struggle with penta kill, such cracked luck + skill. love it
This was very helpful when I was still stuck in expert class.
Damn i didnt know that thx 😊
(I sometimes swapped the scope lenses with a buddy barrier)
I love Unite and it always makes my day to enter new events and get new Pokemon to move up to higher ranks :)
These tips are so good, haven't tried them out yet but I deffo think I can finally GET OUT of Great rank with these tips.
The biggest level up in great rank is not over pushing especially pre 2 mins and grouping for dread.
finally hit masters last night ~ these are all great tips :D
Awesome guide Teeds! Thank you for this. It really is a grind getting to masters in solo queue. I'm stuck at veteran
Hi Teeds,
You are absolutly right with the anger and frustration the game can give to the players. Give the best i can and everything else is computers fault 😅😅
Its really nice of you to also include such sort of tips for your subscribers, to keep them all healthy.
I reached master rank recently myself with 66% winratio and only by playing solo que …
It was so damn hard and frustrating, but I am quite happy now :D
I agree with all the tips explained in your video, very well done!
It
Thanks for the advice :D and your voice makes me calm for some reason
The stress part of that isn't rad though.
thank you so much for the guide! cant wait to get out of expert tier
You 100% got this!
Thumbs up just because you mentioned NOT taking Zap when you're ahead. Everyone please spread the word!!!
yay! i'm so excited for the controls video!! this was super helpful, thank you for great content
Playing ranked is so stressful but fun. I constantly have a win-lose-win-lose thing going on. I get mad at my teammates for not doing the obvious, but hopefully I can remember to just keep farming instead. Thank you for the video!
I am soo glad I'm subscribed to u and am watching ur videos. Not everyone shares their experience to their viewers in detail.
U are amazing!! 🤩
Always love reading your comments Dani!
@@SuperTeeds Also u r close to 100k
Thank you for the guide! Very useful! New players should be required to watch this video
I have great tip for score: (idk if work or not) You need have paper and pen , make a line in the middle on the paper, your teammate and opposing teammate, if someone score, you need to write down quickly and try to math fast so yeah lol
I will put into practice these! Thank you for having a kind spirit when talking, it soothes and calms my frustration hahahahah. Subscribed !
Another tip: if one of your ally is goaling make sure to be with them and defend them
It increases their goaling speed and the chances of actually goaling the goal
Teeds, I hope you take this as a compliment, but I'm having a hard time focusing on the the tips with how awesome your plays are.
Like, seriously, your Gengar is... *chef's kiss*
Tysm for the in depth stuff, I subscribed so as not to miss the new tierlists :p
Dang that was some beautiful Gengar gameplay, now I really want to try him lol
i thought the same thing!!! shawty was killing it with gengar
Ikr!!
OMG, taking top as solo was the best tip i have ever heard, thanks a lot!
I just got from Veteran C2 to Ultra C1 tonight. Now I'm stuck so thank you for these tips!
I had no idea about the debuff on Drednaw and I would go straight for Zapdos, even when in lead. Thank you, Ive learnt alot 😄
Yay! Ive been excited for this video!
I hope it helps!! :)
Thank you for saying getting to master is not easy. You are the only pokemon unit RUclipsr who has to say it is not easy.
I really like your observation regarding the mvp crown.
I play soloQ only and got to masters two seasons in a row using only duraludon and Dragapult. Love the vid and these are great tips
One of the best channels that really explains what you need
Take a rest I think is the best advice from this video.
Also I would say another tip could be:
- pick your main, a pokemon you really like with a playstyle that suits you, learn it, master, improve on it, experiment with items and take advice from videos and you will eventually find your dreamlike combo.
This helped me soooo much! Tysvm for all the amazing vids u make for us I deeply appreciate it 🥰🍭
Thank you for the drednaw debuff about Zapdos didnt know that I knew the majority though currently stuck around Vet 4 I’ll probably get ultra and call it.
Thank you teeds I am now at great class and I didnt know if I will going out of beginner so thank you very much...
I have been frustrated and stressed losing ranked a lot of times but when I saw this tutorial I get more help👍
Awesome guide keep up your great content 😁
Hey I think I read your held items guide on pokemon website you're an incredible player lol I'm just starting out this game & got ways to learn & this video got some useful tips I just got to great rank now & stuck on solo mode
My opinions for solo q is overleveling, it is a good option, but the most important thing is SCORE SCORE AND SCORE and also defend a bit
I really like your videos you're really awesome ....... I purchased Gengar last night but it didn't worked much well but after viewing your video I tried your tricks and really it worked thanks
thank you teeds I finally reached masters! Thank you thank you thank you
I'm so happy I was able to solo q all the way to masters.
I'm really looking forward to that incoming Controls Guide, & hope it'll also be able to be of use to my future attempt to Xbox Controller Series X - Shock Blue the Mobile Version when Mobile Version finally arrives.
Keep it up!!
Your voice is really soothing. And of course, nice tips thank you.
I think that since you can queue up with friends who are lower rank than yourself, it influences a lot the matchmaking. I for one stopped playing with my beginner/great league friends on ranked since i'm in Vet and would end up losing a lot of games
I played solo almost 100% till masters with Blastoise mostly...btw a great guide for new players
Just hit masters rank today and i haven't played a single masters rank match at the time I'm writing this comment, so excited for the things to come
Nice one Teeds!
Super Tips from SuperTeeds 👌
Tip 11 is a tip you really need to follow is cause this one game our snorlax was chasing down an ivysaur and left alone at top trying to take rotom and unfortunately two other Pokémon came and stole rotom and our top lane got destroyed
Gengar is so cute and terrifying at the same time, especially in late game. I've had so many experiences with Gengar and that made me hate him haha.
Oh my god ty sm for this tip abd guide 🤯😊 it literally help me sm!!
Thanks you, i use absol....but withouth the focus band but with the Energy amplifier... i'll try with focus band
LOVE YOUR CONTENT TEEDS KEEP IT UP GIRL
Absolute fantastic video! Even though I knew it all I wish every unite player would watch the video and learn from it
really love this guide 😍 but yeah still depends on your teammates. most of the time they are so annoying, they thought the priority is to kill the opponent, just kill then that's it to the point they forgot to even score at least 1. lol
Love your guides @superteeds ! Not sure if you shared it in your other guides, but another tip is to kill the opposing jungler after they get buffs. Because this will pass on the buff to the Pokémon who finished the kill.
I actually didn't even know this! Thanks for sharing :)
