Jake, I'm afraid many of the people who watch this video will misunderstand the "play a carry if you want to win more" point. Do we really want more carry wannabes in ranked? 🤔🥺 👉Maybe could have emphasized more the figures of Blastoise, Crustle and all-rounders (also CottonSpore Eldegoss can be a carry). THESE are the ones we want in our team👈
To all the aspiring carry players out there: All of the farm on your side of the map respawns exactly one minute after it is taken down. Stay on top of it, especially if you're playing in the central area. If you leave your jungle unattended, I WILL take it, regardless of what team I'm on.
You don't need to go to jungle right away because your jungler will leave it forever after one rotation and fall in love with the farm of one of the lanes lol
Honestly great video. I want to add a tip that's been for something NOT to do that can improve your winrate. It's one of the most common mistakes I still see in games. That is to stop throwing yourself into a bad fight over and over at enemy Tier 1 goal. Players tend to think if both of your own tier 1s are broken, the game is doomed if you don't break theirs asap. But your side will have more experience to farm, and the enemies will be forced to play aggressively if they want to get additional farm for themselves. If people would just farm their extra Indeedee and wait for enemies to over extend, you can easily come back in experience and still win the Ray fight. At the end of the day, being as strong as possible at Ray will let you come back and win easily with Ray Shields. But if you keep throwing yourself at well defended tier 1s while already behind, the enemy will just farm more experience from your KOs and get even further ahead. Only go for Tier 1s that aren't well defended. Don't try to force a million bad fights on the enemy pad
True. I've fallen into this trap myself. Though I can say that as the clock ticks down, sooner or later you're going to have to make a push. But certainly, don't force a bad play and one should learn to recognize when that is.
Completely wrong. If you lost your t1 you will be The one to overextend if you want to farm better. Thats how mobas work. Also when the t1 is destroyed, some mob camps go down with it, so you have less camps to farm.
This is only usefull for lvl 4 evos btw. You do xatu + red buff, you get lvl4 and you gank. Otherwise if you full clear the jungle it's so little exp difference that doesnt matter at all
@@CharlesTW92 it's actually not useful at all because in most cases a full clear in any order puts you at level 5 which is good enough and gets you in lane above the laners before the birds. It doesn't matter at all if the other jungler is slightly higher or lower that first go
Solo is a Russian Roulette of quality when it comes to teams. You either got people who are compliment, or little Timmy who plays the game with his toes.
Yeah, you right about the being a carry thing. Sometimes, I don't wanna jungle cause I'm a better laner than jungler but my teams tend to push me to jungle anyway. It's not that I can't, it's just that when I go and try and win fights, the lanes I pick either are too aggressive or not aggressive enough to push. And I absolutely return to my jungle no matter what and pray that my lanes pick up the slack instead of spamming "Check It Out" if they die.
For real. I mostly played in jungle when I started playing the game but have dropped it since Theia. I know how to do it, but for some reason it's just bad luck nowadays if it's on me. It's like... damned if you do and damned if you don't. You go jungle? Bad laners. You go lane? Bad jungler and laners. You just can't win.
@@MusicCometYeah, I know that feel bro. If I have to go jungle, my teammates in lane are the kind of players that choose to go for the baltoy behind the goal when the Altarias spawn or flip the Altarias when the enemy is still alive instead of helping with the push and let me die alone in a supposed 3 v 2. Even if I do a decent gank as the jungler, my team doesn't take too long to throw the advantage and feed the enemy. If I go lane I never get help from my jungler but always get ganked by enemy jungler, die and just see how my team loses a 3 v 2 in opposing lane. It's a never end cycle.
Honestly going jungle is just uuuugh (can't find a better word for it). I have better luck being a laner with Blasty boi, Blaziken or Glaceon than a jungler with Mewtwo X or Y since teammates ain't aggressive enough when I join their lane. Also, players spamming the "Check it out" prompt over the jungler usually are the ones that keep dying over and over and over and then blame it for not coming to save the lane form their own stupidity. Seriously, my last 5 matches were like either before the first gank where I'm almost done clearing the first rotation (downing that one half HP Baltoy) or taking the Altarias at 8:00... the random dude proceeds to spam "Check it out"; like, yeah, I saw you, I called out to you to "Gather here" cause I also noticed you're behind on exp so you should get your butt here at the mid farm and take it with me but what did you rather do? Yes. Keep feeding the opponents. Yayn't.
I generally find it easier to go to the lane where the enemies are bieng aggressive this is especcially needed if a garchomp is jungle go behind the enemies and dragon rush them into your teammates.
Something that I’ve found, which I know should be obvious but wasn’t for me: be patient. Especially in lane. Never actively try to punish your opponent for mistakes they didn’t make. If an opponent does screw up (which as we all know people do) you can either punish it directly, or find some way to get value from it.
Yesterday i reached master just by using venusaur, mamoswine and trevenant If we dont have a free hitter i use venu If we dont have CC i use trev And if theres allot of atkers in the team i use mamoswine so i can ice fang an enemy and throw it to my atker or icicle crash so the all rounder on the enemy team cant just bust through the door
I think this video was spot on. But I'm left conflicted about the state of the meta and Ranked in general. As a defender main, I experienced everything you described. The game seems to actively punish you for winning and after a few wins, if you personally don't or can't carry, you lose. But supporters have high win rates and defenders are absolutely necessary (as you pointed out) and I've found that if I don't pick the defender, about half the time no one else does either. And without a tank, we usually lose. I agree that the way ranked games are put together needs to be overhauled somehow. The game needs to more accurately pair up skill levels, not just use a mathematical average, because having one or two great players does NOT balance out 3 other bad players. I'm glad you put this video out. This stuff needed to be said.
Not just in MMR, but in general Unite mechanics and gameplay is one of the weirdest one in any MOBA, basically it punishes you more the higher the skill the player is.
my advice is learn how to play blastois, he can be damage dealer o utility tank with just the exact move combination or 1 held item change. it is a little hard to use for those without skill shots experience but is a great and multi propose tank. also most people only plays offensive or all rounder damage pokemon, and most of time you need a carry tank to complete the team withou losing carry potential
That's intentional. The whole point is for the matchmaking to drag you down to 51-52%. Like Jake said, the higher you get in MMR, the more games you play the worse teammates you get. You might think this crazy but it's the best way to minimise queue times.
levels is usually the main problem I run into when im in a loosing game, and farming is usually my go-to answer for that. sometimes i'll sacrifice goals just for exp
So I think it’s fair to say that if you’re the best player in the lobby, you want to carry, and if you’re the worst, you want to support. With a few corner cases, matchmaking will ensure that you are as often the best in the lobby as the worst, so you can’t improve your win rate by being a carry or a support. The corner case is if you’re at the very tippy top of the ladder, when you are so high up in MMR that it’s impossible to to not have you be among the best players in the lobby most of the time. The number one player is always the best player in his lobby, after all. Throw in the fact that not all of the player base is playing at any given time and you could be in, say, the top 1000 players in the world and still be better than your teammates and enemies on average. In those conditions, you can improve your win rate by playing carries. But this impacts a vanishingly small part of the player base. A part of the player base that is disproportionately likely to be writing guides or to be listened to by the community, so their voices are stronger. This advice isn’t applicable to most people in Master rank and to everyone outside it. Probably it’s applicable to less than a percent of the playerbase as a whole, and a single-digit percentage of your viewers.
Or to put it another way, “You aren’t stuck in traffic, you are traffic.” This analysis fails to apply the Copernican principle: that unless we have a reason to think otherwise, the observer does not occupy a privileged position. This advice is straightforwardly not capable of being universalized. If it makes sense for me to play carry, no matter what, if I want to maximize winrate, then that has to be true of every teammate I have (because I don’t occupy a privileged position, I can be assumed to be at least on average and over a long enough time frame equal to my teammates). This advice would tell all five members of my team to play a carry. But obviously this is not true; Meta compositions never produce a team this unbalanced.
So Vet and Ultra, I started noticing the quality of teammates improve as you get higher in rank for mmr. It was noticibly easier to rank up once I got out of Ultra 3, 4, or 5. Sometimes, with those ranks, you get stuck with terrible players and it becomes a loop.
I think for most Pokemon, 3:15 is a better recommendation to not use your Unite after since you can also get even just a little farm to always have it back by then; other than some like Slowbro or Sylveon. Usually for me, if my Unite is up, I try to use it for something around 3:20 so I can get a kill or push a point or objective with it around that time, and make sure I have it back by 2:00.
If eveeyone does this and is clearing farm as they should then most players wouldn't have their unite back, it just isn't enough farm. It's best to stick to 3:30-3:45 and set up before ray
Spragels you are doing gods work with these tutorials 🤝 hopefully all my futrue teammates see this vid 😂 just watched the rest of the vid, if i could like this vid more than once i would
@@Belesprit656 Just straight up defense/Sp. Def raising items. But with how bad Defense works in unite I doubt many people would use it. Unless they do something like 25+ Def per stack.

As a player who gets frustrated often with other players in solo battles because of a lack of competence this is very good information to understand. Thank you! :)
If you have a 47% winrate, I'm sorry but it's still your fault at that point. 💀 I'm not saying it to be rude or attack you, but to help. There are definitely mistakes that you're probably making or playing while tilted that you can correct and improve yourself. I've definitely had some useless teammates this season but I've kept a positive winrate by trying my best and staying calm while tilted. I got one account to 1600 yesterday and am working on the second today. If my goofy ass can do it, I believe you can too. 🔥
Hmm, well this confirms it, people need to be able to fall out of rank. Because stop trying when they reach masters. They turn into trolls. They spam surrender. They spam pings. They cry. They steal the jungle. They don't go to objectives - they don't think, they play mindlessly. And the worst thing is as a high elo masters player you then get placed on teams with these people to balance out the teams. >_>
I still play as best as I can, it's the fact I always get bed teammates so if I do loose it's not the end of the world, and I've never got Master rank before and it took me ages to get it, so I'm glad I can relax a little.
Great Video! But the sad part about these types of videos is, that most players that actually need this information aren't looking up any information. While the overwhelming majority that clicked on this vid, most likely also watches other Unite gameplay vids, maybe streams etc, where you also get that information from.
Trying to clear out central area, rinse and repeat rarely works in solo Q. U have random players eating up all of the jungle pokemon, never entering team fights and it just hinders your level stacking. You're either fighting your own team for jungle, or entering team fights alone
I agree with that mmr thing about who is the best until I am all the way on the right and carry my team. Also here is my ideal team setup, one attacker and one defender/supporter on each lane and then either an all-rounder or speedster in jungle
Something I find helpful is protecting your team while they get farm. A lot of the time if I see I have an under leveled teammate trying to get the back farm I'll push up a little just to hold map pressure so they can get that level without an opposing pokemon trying to contest their farm
I stopped playing competitively simple because the only true decider of my matches was the quality of my teammates, which is luck based. I always play solo carry potential and that skews my winrate in my favor, but sometimes im 4v6, or 3v7, and other times im 5v5 because my own bad teammates are detrimental enough they might as well be on the enemy team. I cant stomach the luck grind anymore
Well, but why should i win? Ladder rewards are unusefull and more i win and more i will be in team with noobs that will ruin my matches. If i farm more than the opponent and get KOed, the oppo will gain in exp the difference instantly. Rayquaza is a toss of a coin that vanish most of your work, so why to go mad? Take Sableye or Dodrio and run trough the map bringing chaos, thats my aim.
A few tips I would give: Lose a few games first, you can lose games and it’s fine, you can’t control your allies nor your opponents. You can learn from those mistakes, either you lack something or maybe it’s your allies [ if it’s your allies, it isn’t your fault! ]. Use the practice area or offline mode! I’ve improved significantly because I’ve been learning about the Pokémon I main and it increased my accuracy a lot! I used these things to get to masters one time! Reminders, maybe this advice won’t help, but good luck!
They need to know that, if they are at the far right spot on prematch screen, they are more likely the worst player in their team. If that's the case do not dare to pick jungle, do your team a favor and pick a freaking defender/support with exp share, your winrate is gonna rise a lot that way and you could learn more about the game and try to be the carry after improving.
The biggest game-losing scenario I run into is when your team keeps going back to a fight they can't win, usually defending from Regieleki. I think it's because players don't know that every death feeds the other team and just widens the level gap. And then it feels like it's your fault when you try to pull back and farm to recover and get angry pings. I took over a year long break from Unite and am now mostly playing casual. Idk if it's the 'casual is just bots' explanation or if players are genuinely more chill, but I don't run into that problem nearly as much anymore. I have really enjoyable games in casual that feel balanced, then try a ranked game and get death looping, spam-pinging teammates. It's a big reason why I took such a long break.
This mindset is the same as the teams that end up with 5 attackers. Everyone wants to do the most damage and get the most kills but it's almost impossible to win without tanks on the team. Late game without any bulk on your team is extremely rough. Focusing on trying to carry your team and not what's best overall for your team is just asking to feed the enemy team with easy kills. If you already have 3 "carry" pokemon then the best thing is to choose pokemon that will support your squishy teammates. I wait to pick my pokemon until after at least 3 teammates make their choice. I main Glaceon, Lapras, and Blastoise btw.
My hyper carry pokemon that brought me to ultra is goodra ultra tanky heal beam with spoon. No other meta pokemon from the enemy could kill me. because i was just little smarter with knowing my own pokemon. Being underestimated is so funny. And i murdered the meta mon from the enemy to carry my team!
Now I realize why I get people with less than 1000 games, and wants to jungle and throw the game. Yesterday a Slowbro wanted to jungle, and steal the jungle of my poor drippy.
15:23 I had a game where we beat the enemy so bad that half of them had 6 seconds ko cooldown so we didn’t get to rip ray because the enemy team might have unites ready
I feel like creating an alt where I just get a bad winrate, THEN bother climbing. e.g., spam and throw like 4 Standard matches before playing 2 games in Ranked - then repeat. Not sure how that'll go, but for the sake of better teammates, it's a strat that might work.
The biggest problem with this game is people not understanding team comp. It’s lost already at character selection so many times. I would like to see more creators explain how to look at a team and decide what is needed. Are there too many range characters? Do we have counters to meta Pokémon? Do we have any cc? Are all the picks fragile - we need a healer. Do we have a securer? Does this team have enough damage? Coming from other MOBAs I have never seen so many bad team comps picked as in Unite. Like no one is looking at the team as a fighting machine and filling in what is missing. Help! With draft coming this is even more important.
So many players that just dont know what they are doing - rush in - Never fight with team - Dont focus on Boss' Can be super frustrating. But i guess i gotta focus more on my own gameplay. Let go of control of what my team shouldnt be doing 😅
I'm afraid many of the people who watch this video will misunderstand the "play a carry if you want to win more" point. That is truly understandable, but the main and true way to win a rank match is to communicate with your teammates and plan ahead based on the current team's choices
Big daddy I have to ask, I'm being dogged on by most of my teammates for picking snorlax and I'm pretty good with him but as you said in the video I'm going to encounter worse teammates and better enemies and i just want to know if I am going to have to drop my big baby boy in favor of better attacking pokemon
Is it worth buying Dragapult? I have fun playing him with the Phantom build and I do quite well with it (played it with a trial card). The current attacker I play is Decidueye and only him
at 51.9 wr at 3500 rank games at 5000 and at 53.4 all solo what really boosted my wr was learning the teams have the better players to the left i love playing elda but if im not 1 of the 2 worst players on the team( almost never happens)im just not going to use support, if you are on the right plz stop using ninja and go tank or support
5 attackers with 1-2 good kiters/players will win a balanced team almost every time, be the carry you want to see in your life, cos no ones gonna do it for u (is what i experienced when i went from start to masters)
As someone who has there 1600 badge from season one to 16, there is one thing I have never heard others mention. Unite has this match making algorithm where one day they are with 50%+ after 6 pm my time a change happens where I'm with 50%-. During the day where I am with the 50%+ I get 10+ constant wins and during the day with the 50%- no matter how hard I try I won't win more then 4 or 5 times, I get afks, I get crybabies that throw the game at the dumbest thing. I only use my win rate 70 charizard on win days and he hasn't failed me. I have 6k+ games.
I have never noticed this specifically with days the way you have, but I have remarked many times about how the game feels incredibly streaky. Some days I will win most all of my games and some days I will lose a ton of games.
@@spragels It's something I noticed after viewing my history a year ago, I usually check everyone winrate during my bad days and find 40-52% while on my win days I find 49-56%. I get to 1600 within the first 2 weeks usually while minding my win days get my two carries charizard and whoever is the most op at the time, this season I managed to get to 1600 with wigglytuff rollout/doubleslap using this, it was pretty weird, I was never good at wigglytuff but with experience you just know where to position yourself. 7-13 kills per match pretty funny. Weight/cookie/res guard and smokescreen.
One thing I really don’t like is if I go insane for let’s say +10 games in a row over 200k dmg and like +30 kills with scizor and I accidentally play someone who is a dev or a very high player.. scizor gets nerfed immediately. Now I’m not saying this is all me but it’s happened 3 times twice on Scizor and once on dragonite.. idk why but it’s like I see them play terrible(and I’m usually playing high ranked guys) and I play it for a week and dominate.. next patch it gets nerfed..
My friend suggested to play Pokemon unite, i reached master in 10 days with mewscarada 😂. Great game but I hate it when enemies steal ray and my team mate are afk 😅
Blastoise, dragapult in future will receive nerfs, tyranitar relies on teammates and in soloq we don't know which kind of teammates we get because all 5 teammates matter.
easy for others to say this things cause when they are in rank they are always in duo or trio or all in 5 teams but it really is hard to climb in rank in solo in this game. Even if you are good but your team sucks you cant climb on rank even if I do all this things
My friend and I just started playing Pokemon Unite together, and for some reason we're both half the speed of other players no matter who we play. We thought emblems were the issue, but after some intense googling and your emblem videos, it seems like that isn't the issue. Is there some weird newbie curse that nerfs move speed until you hit a certain level?
Me spent 10 years in the hole we call leage learning wave management and objective management and tower diving items and item counters : years of academic studying wasted
I agree with most of this, except one thing. I personally don't like stacking, sometimes yes, but generally no. I feel like becoming overly reliant on stacking makes people overcommit often and get KOd, also it isn't good to have too many people stacking so sometimes it isn't the right choice. Great video, just thought I'd point out the other side.
one thing with stacking I've noticed is that prioritize your level spikes first if your team pushes bases you will naturally get up to two stacks maximum, even 3-4 on t2 base between 3 mins and 2 min 30 if you push in top regi because they will fill focus on top regi. I don't get 6 stacks very often and this season I have clocked over a 50% wr. It's making progress to winning the game and having full initiative over ray that's more important than a stack Although i agree needing to stack can cause you to misplay alot what I said earlier is for Pokemon who kind of rely on them like say leafeon tsareena to an extent trevenant (1 cookie stack is more than enough to last you the game from personal experience) . If you dont want to stack that's fine but this is just to tell you stacking isn't everything in the early game getting more farm and being able to get the objective is .
I can play decent Zeraora so if I want to increase my win rate to get to a certain point, I can do that with Zera quite easily. But that makes Unite very boring. But even if I do over 100k damage with over 15kills, sometimes you just loose no matter how hard you carry. Teamwork is the best strat in the end.
I've actually had some games where my team was completely losing then for no known reason we just traveled as 5 people and picked off enemies one by one we had a support for sustain enemy team ended up surrendering really fun strat for 5 stacks until you get teamwiped somehow cause I doubt anyone would use a good comp.
Want to ask. How good you think tyranitar is. Been playing him recently and the build I’m using is working most games. Muscle band, focus band and then a drain crown for items with x speed. The emblems I don’t fully remember but it’s like at the end max brown with 1st load of white blue and purple aswell
Please don't take jungle after hard losing your lane... you just put the jungle behind as well.. A lot of times I have level 9 for first battle for the objectives and the only times i dont when people losing very hard start taking my camps. This also makes your jungle lose, please don't do it.
Or you're literally helping the one lane score and you see someone from the other lane take jungle. Atleast give it some time, now we're the same level and I can't carry as well
Tip:no need to balance it it depends in the Pokémon if you use a Pokémon that's really slow and fragile but deals a lot of damage you don't need to make sure it's special attack and attack stat isn't lowered you can get away with -5.5% and if you just want that fragile Pokémon to take some hits just get the highest hp you can get without too much drawback like -21 movement speed (I managed to get +120 on my decidueye) and if your only problem now is how slow it is get a float stone
I've been using a bullet punch swords dance scizor build with atk weight, focus band, and resonant guard with brown and white emblems. I've been enjoying using it but idk if its good hut i kinda like it and like this build for scizor
Yeah but when I lock in a carry so does everyone else and then we're a team full of Absol's and Cinderaces and Meowscaradas vs. an actually well-constructed team with a support and defender. Guess how that goes. So I often play support instead.
Someone once told me if I want to win more I need to stop playing carries and start playing supports because "look at the win rates" *they said during the Mewtwo Blissey era when Blissey was highest win rate and that had NOTHING to do with players abusing mechanics obviously. I was like ???? Bro?? You're fr right now?? The number of matches I have lost due to picking support is unbelievable. You're completely worthless if you don't have a good carry to actually support. Wtf am I gunna do? Moonlight them to death??? Tldr; there's so much more to the game than who has the higest effing win rate. All that does is tell you who's relevant in the current meta.
I jus recently returned to Pokemon Unite like the last time I reached master was wayback season 4, dang it even you know how the game works 2 or 3 of your teammates were like roaming around and do nothing T_T.
Idk I made master with lapras’ perish song and ice beam. Shellbell, the special atk stack item, and the sp atk heal cut item. Screw my carry teammates. I’m last hitting everything I can
fyi this was recorded just before the Zacian/Lapras nerfs announced!

If people would just farm their extra Indeedee and wait for enemies to over extend, you can easily come back in experience and still win the Ray fight. At the end of the day, being as strong as possible at Ray will let you come back and win easily with Ray Shields.

Completely wrong. If you lost your t1 you will be The one to overextend if you want to farm better. Thats how mobas work. Also when the t1 is destroyed, some mob camps go down with it, so you have less camps to farm.

It's rough jungling when the lanes are weak. You can't gank effectively, even if you're good at it, and them being behind puts you behind too.
Yesterday i reached master just by using venusaur, mamoswine and trevenant
If we dont have a free hitter i use venu
If we dont have CC i use trev
And if theres allot of atkers in the team i use mamoswine so i can ice fang an enemy and throw it to my atker or icicle crash so the all rounder on the enemy team cant just bust through the door
Finally, a video that my teammates can use to be better because I'm obviously the best player and its always my teams fault.
This why i love Tsareena,
Fast, can be speedy, attacking, support in an ally way, and defend
Untrue 😂
This for sure.
People overestimate speedsters and attackers. Blastoise and Crustle are better carrys right now than Cinderace
I'm a Lapras fan, all aboard the Lapras express!
dude the matchmaking is just a joke. I was at 60% winrate and i started losing so much bc of my teammates its crazy
That's intentional. The whole point is for the matchmaking to drag you down to 51-52%. Like Jake said, the higher you get in MMR, the more games you play the worse teammates you get. You might think this crazy but it's the best way to minimise queue times.
@@SenpaiTorpidDOWi'm at 54% winrate now 😭 i'm never hitting 1400 i hate this game so much
levels is usually the main problem I run into when im in a loosing game, and farming is usually my go-to answer for that. sometimes i'll sacrifice goals just for exp
Or to put it another way, “You aren’t stuck in traffic, you are traffic.”
This analysis fails to apply the Copernican principle: that unless we have a reason to think otherwise, the observer does not occupy a privileged position.
Spragels you are doing gods work with these tutorials 🤝 hopefully all my futrue teammates see this vid 😂 just watched the rest of the vid, if i could like this vid more than once i would
That’s very kind thank you
I’m surprised they never released a defensive stacking item yet. It would probably suck but I’m still surprised they never made one
Aeos cookie?
@@Belesprit656 Just straight up defense/Sp. Def raising items. But with how bad Defense works in unite I doubt many people would use it. Unless they do something like 25+ Def per stack.

Hey Jake!
Can we get a tier list for Pokemon that stack well in Pokemon unite? That would be a neat video.
I have a stacking guide on my channel you can check out
As a player who gets frustrated often with other players in solo battles because of a lack of competence this is very good information to understand. Thank you! :)
I had a 47% winrate this season, for context my winrate last season was 62% 😐, I hate the matchmaking.
If you have a 47% winrate, I'm sorry but it's still your fault at that point. 💀
I'm not saying it to be rude or attack you, but to help.
@@pumpkin7446 my winrate would probably go up if i played now, i haven't played the game since the start of the season and you can probably guess why.

I finally got MASTERS!!! Now I feel I can actually play the game for fun without worrying about going up or down a rank
I feel the exact same way each season when I reach Master haha
youre part of the issue
How?
So so so true
The matchmaking in this game maybe has the worst out of any game in history
Trying to clear out central area, rinse and repeat rarely works in solo Q. U have random players eating up all of the jungle pokemon, never entering team fights and it just hinders your level stacking. You're either fighting your own team for jungle, or entering team fights alone
I don’t agree that it rarely works. But you are right that sometimes people grief jungle
You know you can just befriend good players and so when u decide to play ranked u can call them up so u can play with good players together
@@tweeterx7932 you expect unite players to have social skills?
Just got into ultra class 1 within 160 games , might hit master within 170/165 games!!!
i have been playing zeraora and only zeraora since pokemon unite came out and ngl he had his ups and downs but rn hes extremelly solid and easy to use
i reached master rank 2 years ago just because of you

The comments are painful to read....
I main Glaceon, Lapras, and Blastoise btw.
saw your tiktok Jake. I hope you are feeling better. Take time to recover and spend time with your son. God bless
Do you guys think Buzzwhole counts as a pokemon that can carry ?

@@spragels Wow, i didn't even dare hope that you would answer my comment. Thanks a lot for answering, and that's good to know. Nice video
Yes his superpower smack down set has insane cc n damage off the bat
I fear that thing, a good one is almost unbeatable in a 1v1
@spragels my brother was a blissy in a buzzwhole game you played earlier. He straight up said that you carried hard
Rn I have an 85% win rate with Tsareena and do over 100k DMG almost every game and it's insane, I LOVE her.
So many players that just dont know what they are doing
- rush in
- Never fight with team
- Dont focus on Boss'
Can be super frustrating.
But i guess i gotta focus more on my own gameplay.
Let go of control of what my team shouldnt be doing 😅
I'm afraid many of the people who watch this video will misunderstand the "play a carry if you want to win more" point. Do we really want more carry wannabes in ranked? 🤔🥺
👉Maybe could have emphasized more the figures of Blastoise, Crustle and all-rounders (also CottonSpore Eldegoss can be a carry). THESE are the ones we want in our team👈
That is truly understandable, but the main and true way to win a rank match is to communicate with your teammates and plan ahead based on the current team's choices
This wont stop them from going idle at base after losing top once. Dont surrender people, that will boost anyones win percentage.
Only if you want to. You could keep playing Snorlax and getting great with it. Nothing wrong with that.
@@spragels Thanks for the advice chief

I had no idea about mmr or about the fact that if you're the left most player on the team you have the highest mmr
Which Pokemon to use? Please suggest
Step one play Pokémon unite when it came out and get the of first battle pass and use Pikachu congrats you are the best
Need some poke advice now. I am an aggressive player so should I buy tyranitar or blastoise or dragapult for climbing to Masters ?(P.S. I soloq)
Blastoise, dragapult in future will receive nerfs, tyranitar relies on teammates and in soloq we don't know which kind of teammates we get because all 5 teammates matter.
I would say depending on the lead in the game the speedster need 2-3rotation.After that other Pokemon can take exp from their too
And if you win one goal and see that the enemy dont tkae the jungle then take at least some exp from therer
what are the good speedsters? I'm using zoroark but it's a bit boring for me
easy for others to say this things cause when they are in rank they are always in duo or trio or all in 5 teams but it really is hard to climb in rank in solo in this game. Even if you are good but your team sucks you cant climb on rank even if I do all this things
I did NOT know the person all the way to the left has the highest MMR. 🤯
Just use a float stone it works well with slow Pokémon I use it on my main decidueye
It's making progress to winning the game and having full initiative over ray that's more important than a stack
Although i agree needing to stack can cause you to misplay alot what I said earlier is for Pokemon who kind of rely on them like say leafeon tsareena to an extent trevenant (1 cookie stack is more than enough to last you the game from personal experience) .
I've actually had some games where my team was completely losing then for no known reason we just traveled as 5 people and picked off enemies one by one we had a support for sustain enemy team ended up surrendering really fun strat for 5 stacks until you get teamwiped somehow cause I doubt anyone would use a good comp.
yo is dragonite a good carrier? i love dragonite and it suits me very well but im not sure if it is an efficient carrier
Want to ask. How good you think tyranitar is. Been playing him recently and the build I’m using is working most games. Muscle band, focus band and then a drain crown for items with x speed. The emblems I don’t fully remember but it’s like at the end max brown with 1st load of white blue and purple aswell
Any build that makes him tanky is good.
does venusaur count as a tank with high dps if I were to use giga drain and petal dance?

Please don't take jungle after hard losing your lane... you just put the jungle behind as well..
A lot of times I have level 9 for first battle for the objectives and the only times i dont when people losing very hard start taking my camps.
This also makes your jungle lose, please don't do it.
Or you're literally helping the one lane score and you see someone from the other lane take jungle. Atleast give it some time, now we're the same level and I can't carry as well
Oooh can we get a stacker teir list because i have issues identifying which pokemon its mandatory on
got to masters running blast i had no chance to pick attacker or all rounder they would get insta locked.
I struggle with emblems super bad. I've tried all balances and end up completely nuking one or more areas.
Im actually using three principal pokemon that are: Garchomp, Metagross and greninja
I've been using a bullet punch swords dance scizor build with atk weight, focus band, and resonant guard with brown and white emblems. I've been enjoying using it but idk if its good hut i kinda like it and like this build for scizor
"i'll show you how to win every game, except for when your entire team throws 24/7"
Yeah but when I lock in a carry so does everyone else and then we're a team full of Absol's and Cinderaces and Meowscaradas vs. an actually well-constructed team with a support and defender. Guess how that goes. So I often play support instead.
How do I reduce my MMR without losing a bunch? This season has been brutal
I can't play support because half the time i do i end up laneing with 10k damage mewtwo y or something.
I main mimikyu and have made it to vet class 2 still ranking up and ive only been playing for a week
Honestly I just add everyone I think carries good and I play support, only class I really enjoy aside from tank
Same. I hope ppl understand solo q support main WRs don’t mean as much
Someone once told me if I want to win more I need to stop playing carries and start playing supports because "look at the win rates" *they said during the Mewtwo Blissey era when Blissey was highest win rate and that had NOTHING to do with players abusing mechanics obviously.
All that does is tell you who's relevant in the current meta.
how to win every match: get good and carry
got it, thanks
I jus recently returned to Pokemon Unite like the last time I reached master was wayback season 4, dang it even you know how the game works 2 or 3 of your teammates were like roaming around and do nothing T_T.
