  • Very high level of agility ! Incredible aerodynamics. Rafale flying at very slow speed as 15 knots and then quickly accelerate and maneuver at high speeds. Its delta wing and active close-coupled canard helps to maximize its maneuverability to withstand -3.6g to 9g, and a remarkable 11g in case of emergency. The Rafale's digital fly-by-wire flight controls maintain stability and reduce the minimum landing speed to an astonishing 115 knots.
The ability to adapt their speed to the specific needs of a mission is one of the many attributes that make these aircraft so formidable.
During my time filming at RIAT 2023, I was utterly captivated by the awe-inspiring performance of this fighter jet 🛩️
    00:00 Stunning tight G-Turns
    00:31 Missed approach
    02:20 Incredible slow speed flying
🌟 What Sets the Rafale Apart:
The Rafale, designed to excel in air and naval missions, effortlessly handles air supremacy, interdiction, reconnaissance, ground support, in-depth strikes, anti-ship missions, and even nuclear deterrence. This 'omnirole' aircraft by Dassault Aviation is a force to be reckoned with in the world of military aviation.
🛩️ The Rafale vs. The Competition:
In the competitive world of fighter jets, two major players emerge-Eurofighter and Dassault. In this video, we'll compare the Rafale with the Eurofighter Typhoon to determine which one reigns supreme. The Rafale's capabilities span both short and long-range operations, making it an ideal choice for spying, precise strikes, land and sea assaults, and serving as a nuclear deterrent. On the other hand, the Eurofighter Typhoon, a multi-role fighter developed by the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain, specializes in air-to-air and air-to-ground missions.
    🌐 International Air Tattoo Highlights:
RIAT 2023 was a showcase of exceptional talent, and one of the standout moments was the Armee de l'Air of France's Rafale performance. The pilot's incredible high G turns at astonishing speeds made it a challenging feat to capture with the camera. The descent to the runway for landing has to be seen to be believed! It was a spectacle of unmatched skill and precision.
    🏆 Award-Winning Rafale Display:
The French Rafale's astounding performance at RIAT 2023 earned it not one but two prestigious awards-the Sir Douglas Bader Trophy for Best Individual Flying Display and the As the Crow Flies Trophy for Best Overall Flying Demonstration, as judged by FRIAT.
    👀 Stay Tuned:
This video is just the beginning of our coverage of the breathtaking displays at RIAT 2023. If you're an aviation enthusiast hungry for more adrenaline-pumping moments in the sky, don't forget to subscribe to our channel for future updates!
    🛫 Carrier-Capable:
The Rafale's versatility extends to carrier-based operations, allowing it to take off from STOBAR-configured aircraft carriers without modifications.
France is set to deliver an additional 26 Dassault Rafale fighter jets to India, and discussions are underway for a contract that would entail the construction of three more diesel-electric Scorpene submarines by Naval Group. These contracts hold significant value, estimated at approximately €9 billion ($10 billion).
This announcement follows Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent two-day visit to Paris, where India was the guest of honor for the 14th July Bastille Day celebrations. As a part of this visit, both nations jointly released a document titled "Horizon 2047," outlining their future collaborative efforts, including matters related to defense.
While these agreements have received approval from India's Defense Acquisition Council and have been publicly disclosed by the Indian defense minister, the formal signing of contracts between the involved parties is not anticipated until mid-2024.
Prepare to be amazed by the Rafale's gravity-defying maneuvers, sleek design, and unparalleled agility in this exclusive video. It's a journey you won't want to miss! 🛫🌍👍

I was in Narbonne, France a few years ago enjoying some sun on the beach. Patrouille de France was having exercises and three of these flew above us. You don't hear them coming, you only hear the brutal booming sonic roar once they pass you. I'm not easy to jolt, but damned I jumped up quickly and said what the hell was that. 😂

for the Eurofighter, despite being more powerful and faster than the Rafale (mach 2 against mch 1.8 for the Rafale and 18 tonnes of thrust against 15 tonnes for the Rafale) in 2009, there were 18 fights between the Rafale and the Eurofighter, the Rafale has won 16 fights! thanks to these 11G, the Rafale has the capacity to carry out maneuvers with high load factors, which the Eurofighter cannot being limited to 9G! at the same speed, the Rafale will take a tighter turn than the Eurofighter, in addition, the Rafale thanks to its delta wing and these well-positioned canards, the wings benefit from optimized airflow, which allows the Rafale to have strong slowdowns, thus being able to reposition itself more quickly than the Eurofighter, and the M88 reactors have an incredible capacity, full power in less than 2 seconds, allowing the Rafale to quickly regain energy! we can therefore understand why the Rafale ridiculed the Eurofighter! and yet, these two planes are very close in terms of design!

in the description under the video you wrote 15 knots, the slow passage of the Rafale is 80 knots or 152 km/h, if we compare this speed to that of an American A10, it drops below 220 km/h, which proves the very high quality of design of the Rafale, despite its already venerable age, since its first flight was carried out in 1986, almost 40 years ago (in 2026, in 2 years), it remains a very efficient aircraft, and I don't think anyone understands the next evolution of the Rafale, the F5 version! it will be the most efficient aircraft in terms of electronics in the world, a new generation radar capable of detecting everything that flies, even stealth planes!! and the little drones! the RBE2 XG or TARAMMAA!!

Thank you for the reply under this video. I borrowed this info from Wiki: While in flight, airspeeds as low as 15 knots (28 km/h; 17 mph) have been observed during training missions.
Also, you can see in the video how slowly the Rafale is flying. Next time, I will zoom out, and you will be able to see it in comparison to non-moving objects, such as the runway or people standing next to it.

@@topfelya the lowest speed of the Rafale is 80 knots, or 152 km/h, I know my plane quite well, it is my country that manufactures it, and you should not rely on the information from this stupid site , 100% of the information found there is written by everyone, anyone can write this bullshit! Besides, I tried to correct the bullshit of an idiot who put 1912 km/h for mach 1.8, he doesn't understand what "maximum speed" means!! either at the best altitude, at the best temperature, at the best flight characteristics, the Rafale flies at 2222 km/h, this guy is an idiot, he just needs to take a converter from mach to km/h! I'll start again, the minimum flight speed of the Rafale, when we see the Rafale making a slow passage, it's still flying at 152 km/h!! it can land at 100 knots on a runway and 120 knots on an aircraft carrier, the F18 lands at a minimum of 152 knots! why the difference between a landing on land and on sea, because, when we land on a runway, the Rafale makes a rounding, while on an aircraft carrier, the plane lands in a straight line and "impacts" the bridge without rounding! and in any case, in the event of problems, such as the landing stick which breaks, or the stopping line or the pilot who misses all the stopping points, he does what we call a touch and go, he leaves directly, from where the pilots leave the post-combustion to take off again just in case!!

I obtained this information from Wikipedia: Dassault Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon, and the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor were often considered among the most agile fighter jets. Also this jet won the Sir Douglas Bader Trophy for Best Individual Flying Display and the 'As the Crow Flies' for best display at RIAT 23 as judged by FRIAT members was the French Air & Space Force Dassault Rafale C solo display flown by Captain Bertrand 'Bubu' Butin
