Rafale and Mirage 2000 are excellent aircrafts that aren't talked enough about by common folks... your video gives it justice
I love the Gripen 39, The Viggen 37, The Eurofigther Typhoon, but nobody beats Dassault jetfigthers. Mirages and Rafale are the state of the art flying machines. Great video.

It's true that now we have the Rafale which is more modern, more efficient in almost every way, but the Mirage 2000 remains a magnificent and very efficient aircraft.

I remember the Mirage lll S/C we had in CH very well. Even though there was a huge political turmoil back then in our country which lead to a federal dispution... ❤
My all-time fave fighter is the Eagle. My fave foreign fighter is the Gripen. But, the prettiest fighter jet of all time IMO is the Mirage 2000. I looooove this jet!☺

I also often check Mirage 2000-5 from a neighboring country (ROCAF). The unique posture of a Delta aircraft when landing is indescribably cool!

While on development, the Peruvian Air Force ordered 26 Mirage 2000, 24 single seat and 2 double seat, but in 1985 the new Peruvian elected government reduced the numbers to 12 in total, 10 single seat and two double seat, negotiating with other countries the unsold 14. That decision was later very costly because Ecuador started a new war and Peru lost soviet made SU-22, Canberra’s British made bombers, etc, at the hands of another delta wing the Israel’s made Kfir. So far, the 12 planes have been upgraded and very good keep, and more likely will continue flying along with MIG-29s as the front runners to defend the Peruvian airspace

The Mirage 2000 remains a pretty modern aircraft and would do marvels in Ukraine, instead of being stored without a future. The sending of these aircraft should be considered. By now we all understood that the US are dragging their feet the more they can about sending the F-16. Besides, it is becoming clear to everyone that the US wants the Ukrainian Defence to be an European matter, not American as they are preparing to face China. We in the EU must be ready and do our utmost; not even the US can face ruzzia and China at the same time.
The only occasion the US Army fought the Chinese Army was in the Korean war. Despite facing light Infantry only and having Air Supremacy the Americans were initially repelled with heavy casualties. Imagine now.

A fine looking aircraft, from a fine looking family. So easy on the eyes it’s hard to not simply stare, taking it all in.
If things go as plan, the Indonesian Air Force will be the first to operate Mirage 2000 (purchased used from Qatar Air Force as interim jet fighter until the arrival of the Rafales), F-16, Rafale, F-15, and Su27/30 at the same time. Practically all the best non-stealth-jet-fighter from every major bloc 😂. Never in my wildest dream as Indonesian military aviation enthusiast, would I’d be able to see all of them closely in front of my eyes
There is no such thing as passiv stealth, as radar tech is more advance than furtivity one. Only activ stealth like electronic warfare works. All the late so called "4th generation" are equiped for that. So there is no such thing as 5th generation.

As to the air to ground precision weapons of israeli origin used by Indian Air Force Mirage, Spice 2000 and Crystal Maze. Can you provide any information for the last mentined missile? Is it a new version of Popeye missile used by Israel, Turkey, South Korea and other air forces?

@@WeaponDetective Indian Mirage 2000 use a missile called Crystal Maze by the indian Air Force. It looks as a modified AGM-142 Have Nap/Popeye. It could be a new version of this missile, or a shape and size modification to make it fit in the central pylon of Mirage 2000.

That crystal maze is Israeli Popeye cruise missile.
IAF mirage 2000 has Israeli Dash 4 HMDS and Lighting 3 targeting pods with Spice 2000 and Popeye A2G cruise missile integrated.
It is also integrated with Israeli ACMI and Reconnaissance pod.

Alors que les versions d'interception pouvaient dépasser mach2, en effet les "souris" aux entrées des réacteurs étaient mobile pour laisser entrer plus ou moins d'air, les versions d'attaque au sol ou de reconnaissance ne dépassaient pas mach1,6 avec des "souris" fixent.
Faux! Mach 2.2 pour les 2000 et ils ont tous les souris mobiles! elles sont là pas pour aller à plus de Mach2 mais surtout pour franchir le mûr du son plus vite et à moindre consommation, de plus aucune version d'attaque au sol ferait le job à Mach2.2 et pas même 1.6! réfléchis
One of my favorite! They just needed a bigger wing and a little more power in the Engine if this jet have a engine like the F-16 in the 28.000 pounds of trust and a bigger wing area would be unbeatable, but is a true ace of the skies and one of the most beautiful ever no doubt

My uncle was mirage pilot in 1999 kargil war. mirage not perform well but dominance whole area. escort via mig-29. Mirage 2000T variant who is destroy the pak bunkers. In fact IAF want more mirage 1980s but congress govt that time force to buy mig-27 & mig-23 which is worst decision

between 1993 - 2002 the Indian Air Force acquired a fleet of 43 brand new Dassault Mirage 2000H multi role all weather fighter . . . the air force was mighty impressed with the Mirage 2000H so much so that an additional order was placed with Dassault for 38 new built Dassault Mirage 2000-9I multi role interdictor strike fighter . . . it is said that the Dassault Mirage 2000 is like the TOYOTA of multi role fighter jets, bulletproof reliability & longevity . . . some even claim it to be the F-16 of Europe & rightly so . . .

It is a disgrace, how France has killed its own "child", leaving all their customers stranded without improvements and without spare parts ( especially without compatibility among the new missiles that arm the Rafale and the Mirage-2000-5F ). And the amount of money they demand so as to upgade up to the mediocricy that is called Mirage-2000-5Mk-3 or Mirage-2000-9, is ridiculously high.

Does Taiwanese aircraft have some possibilities to drop any bombs(from the dumb version into JDAM or Paveway?) I am need some real Taiwanese people to explain in English or Mandarin, how their Mirage only can fire Mica or Magic missile? This reality is so weird! Also I want to know that if French side did secretly told Taiwanese Mirage capabilities to PRC behind 90's era French Embassy and Consulate were forced to closed by Chinese govt, how Taiwanese MND done for these several unsuitable aircraft for ROCAF, so if ROCAF want to replace it with F-16V blk 70, that will be more better than this junk steel!
