Sorry but i wanna see you struggle against him in the 14 instead of the 16
Fight him in the Tomcat, but you have to kill him by getting underneath him and getting Jester so scared he ejects right into the bottom of Ate's plane.
Murder Hornet. I like that!
If at least a small number of countries, but it seems to me that it turns out to be a lot - to give up aggressive goods to Chinese and Russian manufacturers - it would result in huge problems, which would be the greatest non-violent act .... 👍👍👍
Definitely want to see that !
GS : "The Mirage is often seen as a weaker aircraft against the F18"
ATE : "Hold my Baguette"
Thus proved pilot matters more than plane
A real Mirage 2000 pilot said in an interview that the hardest aircraft to beat out of the Hornet, Super Hornet and F16 is by far the F16. But he won against all of them...
But you have to adapt to the aircraft you're fighting.

Just pure enjoyment seeing you both dogfighting.
The wingtip was like "f*ck this shit dude, I'm out of here"
Growling sidewinder in a F-18 : puts Ate in a mirage
Ate :so you have chosen death
That's exactly what I was thinking too. I was like oh man, you really don't value your life! Lmao I was really impressed at how long GS lasted though. Imagine if they had a Rafale. That would be so awesome and also scary to watch Ate do his thing. Lol
@@Duderino27 ATE Chuet is a very impressive guy, on his youtube channel, he tells about many things, not only plane fights, but also accidents. He is very skilled in a fighters but he also know a lot of things in this field

Anyone notice that really professional final move. He finishes the fight and kills GS' Hornet. He immediately snaps wings level and starts a smooth exit climb
Hey that is what I would have done too.
I mean at that point you are to plan for a nice ride back to home plate or your mission, and then your enemy is mistakes and fuel economy.
And I also think you would like a comfy exit after that too :D
Immelman turn?
Well, considering how close to the ground the M2K is at that stage, it only seems like a natural move to me.
GS, to put it clear and loud: We want to see you fight with ATE with ALL the available birds and possible scenarios, AND we want him to lead you in some realistic attack missions coop. Everyday. And nights.

Think about those missed 20/30 mm rounds ripping through your house from a dogfight 4 miles away.

These rounds do not have any penetration capabilities, they explode on impact but carry as much explosive as a grenade basically... If youre not staying near a wall, you should be fine :D

In visual range dogfight are over rated, BVR is totally better
BVR is dry ngl
@@Duderino27 He's not armée de l'air though. Aéronavale ftw!
@Mike Honcho The French Navy entirely classifies its carrier landing procedures tho
The French use the Meteor which is far superior to AMRAAM
Looks like what he did was somehow transfer a lot of his forward velocity to the back which slid the tail out and made the plane pivot around its CoM. In other words, he literally drifted that airplane going 300mph.
Loving these fights with ATE, but I'd also love to hear you two chatting during the fight stirring each other a bit and having some banter, but also some technique discussions in real time :)
Great video! Hats off to you for having the courage, and humility to make videos like this. Too many content creators falsely believe that losing to a real pilot, like this, will damage their brand. I disagree. For one, you do show amazing skill, even when you lose. This guy would kill me in 2 seconds. You have shot him down in two videos, even if it is clear he is a better pilot. He has the benefit of being trained by experts...lot's of training and debriefing by experts...until he too became an expert. The fact that you win some, and always make it a challenge for him, shows that you have learned some skill also. Flying against guys like Ate, will only make you better. And anyone with a brain will respect you for doing these fights.
Thank you man very kind of you and I agree with u fully there is no shame in losing to a real pilot
‘The mirage is often seen as weaker’
Each jet has its own strengths
A good pilot would get the enemy into a situation where they are able to use their strengths and avoid the enemy’s strengths
Fascinating to watch actual pilots do combat. Maybe get c w leimone to fly an 18 and ate to fly the mirage and get them to fight see what happens
in another interview até said something like "oh typhoons, they like to fly high and fast, we like to sneak low and spook them" as far as i followed news, the rafale had been beaten only once by the typhoon during exercises despite the typhoon being more of an interceptor and overall better on the paper for air to air. it was a two seater piloted by an air to ground crew.
doctrines....
@Calamity he (até) explained in a video that the ceiling is a pilot equipment issue "past that altitude your blood start boiling so you better stay below in peace time in case of pressurisation issue" if you equip the pilot with a pressurised suit like it was done since cold war its not a problem any more. BTW the ceiling according to dassault data sheet says 50k feet, which mean there wouldn't be a need for giving instruction to pilot regarding blood boiling since blood start boiling around 65k feet so the plane would never reach a dangerous altitude. 50k is an arbitrary safety limit for peace time.
the actual ceiling i would like to know about is when engines can't run any more or not well enough to surpass drag limiting speed which mean limiting the lift that can be generated in thin air. curious about what stops the plane first. simulators put the engine out but how it is irl?
If he's doing that with a Mirage, I want to see what he'll do with a Flanker.
I second that
Yes good idea!
I don't think there's a single person who would unironically not want more of this! More please!!!
This is my second encounter with DCS content. Came from part 1. You're cinematography is great, and I'm hooked. Great content!
"Oh no...what is that....that looked very important!" Awesome exchange with ATE and again, another mesmerizing video.
Vipers? Absolutely! If' Ate' has time in the future, some BVR would be cool. Thanks for the great dogfight videos
I wonder, could we get Mover's Viper against Ate's Mirage? Although that makes me wonder if Mover even plays DCS. But this would be amazing
That move that ATE uses to point the nose at GSW is fantastic! Using innate airframe flight characteristics and instability to his advantage like that reminds me of how Jimi hendrix used interference etc as part of his music, or like flat-plating the bird in an f86 sabre to get a reversal... Just some masterful experience you'd only know from flying the real thing and learning from experienced instructors etc.
Até is such a humble guy.
Stellar editing, man. The way you put instant replays in there, in slow-mo, from different angles, just makes the whole thing 10x better.
7:05 That double KO was so dramatic! Not even movies come close to GS DCS sessions :-D
Love all these videos with Até. The United States is privileged to have such great pilots and warriors alongside us.
Absolutely loved the vid and especially love the interview afterwards. Thanks to both yourself and Ate for doing this. Of the countless vids that I have watched these past two vids have to be the best imo.
Day 5.
Still watching in awe the "roll to drift"maneuver that Ate did. 19:10
First time I saw it I was like "Whhhat? Do this guy know how to turn M2k into a thrust vectored bird?"
This is one of the most impressive things I ever saw in DCS, just can't get enough of it!
And thank GS for bringing us such a high quality content!

Right in the baton tiger meet 2017 I think! The skin of his rafale was awesome!
i don't play flightsims let alone such complex ones and know next to nothing about aviation.
and yet i find this absolutely mesmerizing to watch. awesome work!:)
Just look at the way he manipulates the mechanical properties of the delta wing airframe. It's mesmerizing as all hell. I could watch him dog fight all day.
"If you want the real fighter experience, do a workout first and then play DCS." -Ate in the last video.
Not to make things harder for GS but I vote for the Viper fight but let's up the ante and have you guys both put in a workout before you fly!
how does he always see where they are like all i see is a spec of dust on my screen😂
Loved it! The difference is stark. I have watched so many of your other vids, but the REAL fighter pilot was clearly more aggressive at every opportunity. Virtual dogfighters tend to approach the fight with a "Long game" attitude that wouldn't survive for seconds versus the top guns. Thanks for sharing.
These vids with Ate are some of the best you have done IMHO.....excellent stuff :)
Stumbled onto these vids somehow, and absolutely love the way you present it. And then to have a real pilot on is very eye opening; the speed at which he adapted (I guess in real life if you don't adapt very fast then you are dead.).
Loved the Mirage vs. Hornet fight! I want more asymmetric fights with ATE! Awesome!
Once your experience advantage with DCS equals out, I expect he'll be taking your wings off more oft than not. Much appreciate you setting all this up, was a pleasure to watch.
Thanks guys for a great dogfight, the Mirage is such dangerous weapon when used correctly. ATE, amazing manoeuvre, Growling thanks for sharing really informative, learned a lot about from that. Love to see more. 😊
I guess the rad little mirage maneuver is what ATE means when he says he likes delta wing because he can force the 1 circle fight quickly! That was wild. These are some of my favorite vids of yours man! So cool.
3yr old video ... one of the best I've watched. Well done.
Sidewinder... seriously mate, two of the best vids on your channel. ATE is great and I never knew he existed before your first vid. Cheers, I hope you guys keep it up and find other ways of getting sims like this better, realistic (within reason due to lack of feedback) and just have fun.
Just wish I knew French so I could watch all his shit!

pierrehenrichuet but I want what I cannot have :) it’s NOT MY fault I’m ignorant and cannot understand such a beautiful language!
COME TO THINK OF IT, Might get me in the good books with the misses as well :)
I’m mainly trying to poke fun champ and outline the ignorant attitude many have that because ‘they’ can’t understand something that others need to change. Sorry it was lost in poor written communication. I’ve watched some of ATE’s English vids and even got on to his English live stream last night/yesterday afternoon which was great!
All above said, damn I want to get back to flight sims!
That maneuver he pulled at the top of the spiral was brilliant. Used the delta as an airbrake to make that 180, then rolled over (I think this was for momentum making the second roll) and jammed in rudder to get his nose around. Such a brilliant maneuver to try and get onto your six. Great fighting and interview. Love your post fight analysis. Wonder if the Hornet could even attempt that maneuver? Might be worth practicing just to see if it gives you any kind of edge or allows for opening other options in a fight
7:05 Double K.O. Nice one.
@@Duderino27 I disagree a bit. ATE is really struggling with the gun aiming in DCS, I feel GS is more comfortable in those fights, but maybe too contemplative of his opponent so he get passively brung into unfavorable situations.
You’re a real master in DCS, and your videos are amazing. Congratulations for the tie.
Absolutely amazing, stumbled across this by accident & imho this vid & the last one are 2 of the best things I've seen on RUclips

One of the best videos DCS I've seen. that was awesome. Good for Ate for learning the DCS world that quickly.
The first round man. Like something straight out of a movie.
I noticed Ate deftly tracking his nose on you with yaw at one point and I think yaw was a key component in that beautiful rolling redirect maneuver. I think yaw control is a weakness for many pilots; would Ate agree that this is an essential skill component that deserves some attention? Love this video! Definitely want to see a Viper fight as well as BVR with Ate if possible!
I love YAW i use it so much just for that little tilt to get the nose where you need it for that short burst This was in WW2 flight Sims but yeah

Really great vid, thanks GS. Like some others commented, a tac-view debrief with ATé would also be great.
[the trick with his call sign "ATé" is coming from the expression we give to someone sneezing. In English: sneeze -> "bless you!" ; in French: sneeze -> "à tes souhaits!" which translates literally into "to your wishes" (don't ask why we say that..). this expression sounds like: [ Ah-té-sueway ] ; and as he explained, his family name being CHUET, it sounds a bit like "souhait" , so his squadron gave him the "ATE": "ATE-CHUET" ~ "à tes souhait" ].. ^^
Accurate explanation ! Je valide
Damn, that's a brutal "bless you" right there.
A fight in a viper would be so dope

@@Duderino27 Theres no such thing as dirty fighting when its a fight for your life. Its kill or be killed.
@@Duderino27 So is issue is that he doesn't have a proper HOTAS to use the weapon system to its full extent.
His point is more about BFM than weapon system.
He is a B737 Max pilot recovering from medical issue in the middle of COVID-19 crisis. So I can understand he isn't investing a lot of money on expensive gaming hardware.
But 1 Vs 1 virtual fight are performed in sterile environments.
You can fight until fuel burn out if you want.

Man these yours videos against this french pilot are amazing. They're so exciting... Would it be possible for you to make a video with the F-5E Tiger II? Greetings from Brazil!!!
19:15 That flip is just pro level shit. I am guessing here but.. looks like he compresses the wing then uses the fact that air is compressed at the back where authority is, to then rotate, knowing that the compressed air will make it rotate faster but at the same time he does negative G such that he de-compresses the front of the wing and causes the nose to regain nose authority. Almost feels like the little trick you do on WW2 fighters with rudder but adapted to delta wing.
Any idea what it is called?
@@behindthen0thing Look at the footage closely, it looks like the plane quite glitch when he goes upside down but in reality it doesn't.
I'll explain point by point :
-He start pulling the stick so he stays above GS gunsight. But when he does that, aerodynamically, air compresses a lot on the back of the wing (this is the white smoke you see when they turn) so the plain becomes some what less maneuverable (I won't explain further, you'll need drawings).
-He decides to go back on his target (GS) so he turn upside down. But it almost looks like he roll to quickly so he would not be in a good position to keep an offensive position. So when he is upside down he push the stick, so the noes goes down (from his perspective).
-The air that was compressed on the back of the wing gets decompressed (it compress when you pull, so decompress when you push, kind of logical). But as I said, if you loose maneuverability when air is compressed, you'll gain when it decompress, so that allows him to go on a REALLY sharp turn to get on the back of his opponent.
-you'll see when he does that that the beginning of the turn is really sharp and then it turns to kind of a long turn, because then air recompress and he loose some maneuverability. I can only guess that this happen because he is used to the Raphale which performs better in turning.
Any question ?
I would call it the Delta Tumble
