- Hyundai arranged for a media test drive of the newly-launched Santa Fe recently - we did some outdoor testing of the HTRAC system available on the AWD Diesel version - it uses the brakes to transfer drive to the other side of the axle when it senses wheel slip.
The drive into the boondocks of KonKoi area in Negri Sembilan also included a mild water crossing - it was fun, especially the durian session at the end.
Stay tuned for the driving bit. We have already done the Walk-around in another video.
Great video👍🏽
I guess no wonder why my 2020 Hyundai
Santa Fe AWD handles excellent on rainy wet roads🤔🤔
I can get around vehicles a lot better without loosing control much easily in rain.
I don’t get wheel slip period even if I punch from a dead stop on wet roads also I can handle curves on wet roads much better then before
Great stuff, Uncle YS!
Danke, danke!
Another good video, skillful driver, handsome SUV, spacious & practical. The only issue I have is the diesel engine. My God, I can hear it from a distance.
There is a petrol version.
@@YSKhongDriving Unfortunately the petrol version is not the flagship.
Yes. Anyway the engine sound is tolerable. But maybe that's because I also drive diesel pick ups.
@@YSKhongDriving actually, if you go off road, a diesel engine with 4wd is way better than a petrol engine if you don't mind the clattering sound besides it's higher torque. Have a good rest bro
Wow. No-lock wheel spin. Without a run at that little dirt bump, it would have been stuck. That's one Weak-a AWD. 😂
we want engine diesel it's good
Great video. Any part two coming for this one?
But of course. Stay tuned.
Hi ys, so which one better? The Santa Fe or fortuner?:)
This answer, we also want to see.
Good question. There are two distinct differences. The Hyundai is a monocoque body whilst the Fortuner is a body on frame. The Fortuner has a high and low gear range whereas the SantaFe does not. Offhand I would say it depends on your application. The SantaFe would be good for those applications with high tarmac usage, while the Fortuner would be great for those applications that have a high off- road use. The SantaFe certainly looks more premium and has more features too, whereas Fortuner has a brand presence that is higher than Hyundai. Final choice is always up to the buyer.
Geely X70 will never leave that place
The HTRAC is similar to Toyota's Alltrac.
@@YSKhongDriving no it’s not
First
Wow! Well done, again!
