Dare I say, this is the most informative and factual car review program perhaps not just in Australia but of all the mainstream ones you see online, way ahead of car advice and carsguide in my opinion. Thanks Tom! Your reviews are to the point, concise, well organised and shot beautifully.
Best car for the money in the 7 seat class.. Drove the Tiguan all spare Highline, with R line pack , Drove the Holden Arcarda LTV-Z , Drove the Kia GT spec.. still think this is the best car in the class.
Great review! I actually just conducted an in-depth video review between the 2018 & 2019 model, and the changes that I discovered between the two were quite significant. Hyundai is definitely setting the bar high with their all-new 2019 Santa Fe. Keep it up!
The moment I saw the New 2019 Santa Fe, I said to myself: " there is something about this SUV that is very appealing compared to the rest of the SUV'S our there? Quite frankly, it's awesome looking with great reviews.
Great review Tom. Consistently calling it the way it is, never falling into the trap of trying to please a manufacturer. For me, I personally prefer the previous front design architecture than this new model...it looks bland IMO. Well done again..always a solid review.👍
I have 2019 Highlander for sometime now, the car is fantastic and wonderful to drive. The only thing i find it frustratic is that the car doesn't equips with FCA, forward Collision Avoidance as I watch on you tube !!!
Chasing Cars Really? I hope you guys don't consider these cars in the same league as Expendition or Tahoe, cuz they're the actual "Full-Size SUVs". Anyway, I just want them to make a larger, more spacious version of Santa Fe, like what Ford did with the Expendition (Max version).
Too bad this car is insane expensive in holland due to our crazy CO2 taxes. But if i would buy something in this segment, i would pick the Mazda cx9 or this Hyundai.
Did it have a dead battery lol? (Those in the know know what I'm talking about) Battery aside these are actually nicer cars in the flesh than suggests, despite confronting design language
You reckon a Skoda Kodiac ride is better than this?, I bet you will be saying the same when the thing breaks down, they (Skoda) won't want to know about it and you will have absolutely lousy customer support to boot. It never ceases to amaze me how so many call German cars superior. Did you think of dieselgate and those mongrels poisoning people? Skoda is a VAG brand you know.
Good review awesome car. For 65k this car is super packed with features. Mazda cx9 is a vey nice car one of the negatives in mazda is the stupid MZD connect. Great thing in this car it has so many features even in lower models not poverty pack unlike some cars (Toyota this was for you :))
I'm Korean. Normally I can't stand Hyundai designs. This one's all right. I hope they ditch ugly curves and go more with confident straight lines like this one. Interior is still lacking.
Hoon C. It means I live in Korea and see a thousand Hyundais on the street every single day. I have a legitimate reason to wish they were easier on the eyes because literally half the cars I see are Hyundais.
The design of this one, inside and out, may not be quite as stylish as say a Discovery Sport, but it is up there with the best of the rest. Indeed the inside is among the very best in my opinion. Hyundai and Kia have come a very very long way over less than twenty years to achieve such high standards. You should be very proud of their products. By the way, I've owned Range Rovers, CRV's, Audi Q7, BMW X5 and one of my current cars is a Volvo XC90, which I like to think of as a poor person's Bentley Bentayga.

Thanks, Gihan! I appreciate that!
One of the greatest 2019 suv
i love the new design! it looks really sleek and it’s really grown on me.
It’s grown on me as well. Works well in person, too.
Very nice, I like the new look, it takes the Kona’s styling and refines it to where it should’ve been on that car.
I think so too.
In my opinion, new Santa Fe looks great, clear and strong improvement compared with the second generation model. Nice review! :D
Thanks!
Looks gorgeous
Best car for the money in the 7 seat class..

1:28 SOO satisfying
Great review Tom. Love the look of the new Santa Fe, better looking than the Tucson to me.
Thanks Andy!
Just bought one and I love it!!
Congrats! How is it going so far?
I am thinking of buying one, but worried about the fuel economy.
The irony is I live in Saudi Arabia.
Love the Santa Fe, I have one on order in the exact variant and colour you’re test driving (Stormy Seas). Can’t wait to start touring around in it. 👍
I'm sure you'll enjoy the car, Wayne!
Thank you for your nice review
I like new santafe 2019
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Very helpful I just take my decision thanks for the video, greetings from L.A
Tom, your videos are quality mate, been following you from the start.
Thanks mate. I appreciate your loyal following.
the lamp remind me of Iron man
Lol

I think this is one of the best santa fe generation. 😀
Is 3rd row comfortable...????🤔🤔🤔🤔
The moment I saw the New 2019 Santa Fe, I said to myself: " there is something about this SUV that is very appealing compared to the rest of the SUV'S our there? Quite frankly, it's awesome looking with great reviews.
It's definitely a really good option.
This car is so good that even appears in ant man n wasp movie
Great Review, Tom.
What you like new HTRAC AWD system.👍🏼 or...👎🏼?. 🤔
Great Review and a good car...haven't seen it in Kenya yet
I don’t drive a lot, should I stay away from this diesel? No petrol choice tho
There will - very likely - be a petrol engine option late this year, or early next. A front-drive V6.
Chasing Cars hi there - so you also think it’s a bad idea to buy this car if I don’t drive enough?
Great review Tom. Consistently calling it the way it is, never falling into the trap of trying to please a manufacturer. For me, I personally prefer the previous front design architecture than this new model...it looks bland IMO. Well done again..always a solid review.👍
Thanks Gaz!
When it will arrive in INDIA.
I thought the 7 seater santa fe ( XL ) will be released in 2020 ??
Not sure where you're based mate but we have it right now here in Australia.
How does it drive as compared to the new CRV?
The engine in the Santa Fe is better suited to an SUV than the CR-V's 1.5T. Keep in mind though that the Hyundai is quite a bit larger than the Honda.
I have 2019 Highlander for sometime now, the car is fantastic and wonderful to drive. The only thing i find it frustratic is that the car doesn't equips with FCA, forward Collision Avoidance as I watch on you tube !!!
Is the hyundai santa fe better than skoda kodiaq or is kodiaq better?
Kodiaq is better dynamically, but the Santa Fe is just a touch roomier.
where is the Santa Fe manufactured is it made in Korea ?
Yes mate, South Korea.
Hey Tom! Do you know if it has the captain chair seating option for the second row, like the 2018 version?
how is the 3rd row space compared to the kia sorento?
Pretty similar, because this new Santa Fe is quite a bit longer than the old one.
thx a lot!
Very nice ............................
.
.Good video
Better than cx-9 azami?
Wait and see in our upcoming comparison!
Wish there was more cargo and third row space
That would be ideal, but how much larger would the car itself have to get?
Chasing Cars Is this considered a compact crossover or full size crossover?
In Australia we would say the Santa Fe is a large SUV
Chasing Cars Really? I hope you guys don't consider these cars in the same league as Expendition or Tahoe, cuz they're the actual "Full-Size SUVs". Anyway, I just want them to make a larger, more spacious version of Santa Fe, like what Ford did with the Expendition (Max version).
I wish to upgrade mine
full spec at australia
Too bad this car is insane expensive in holland due to our crazy CO2 taxes. But if i would buy something in this segment, i would pick the Mazda cx9 or this Hyundai.
Hyundai is korean baby
Looks nice, but I like the previous grill design better. Hyundai should stick to a grill design, like Mercedes, BMW and others.
Did it have a dead battery lol? (Those in the know know what I'm talking about) Battery aside these are actually nicer cars in the flesh than suggests, despite confronting design language
No battery failures but they were brand new!
Looks nice

The Kodiaq does ride better. That's not a comment about reliability or the ownership experience, it's a comment about suspension.
Qué hermosa camioneta ❤️
Good video
Thanks Thang
Only an idiot would buy a Peugeot with their own money
It's the palisade now
It better have led headlights
The Highlander has LED headlights; the Active and Elite do not.
Looks more like the Sorento now
The plastics still look like a Hyundai. They need to look at what Mazda is doing.
Its Hyun Dai not Hy Un Dei.
Good review awesome car. For 65k this car is super packed with features. Mazda cx9 is a vey nice car one of the negatives in mazda is the stupid MZD connect. Great thing in this car it has so many features even in lower models not poverty pack unlike some cars (Toyota this was for you :))
Thanks Rajesh. Agreed, there’s a lot of value here.
Ich Love Thema new Look, in special as a XL-Version of the new Kona!
Love it
Those rims look the same as the Skoda
It is pronounced like Hunday like Sunday
looks very nice
It's "hun-day", like Sunday. Not "high-un-day".
It’s actually not.
Watch Asian Petrolhead’s review....he’s Korean so his pronunciation is likely to be the right one
I really want the car
I’m sure Hyundai are happy about that!
nice car
i like this car however the front grill looks plastic and a bit cheap...
It has this sort of matte finish on it. A little less imposing (and perhaps less premium) than a big chrome piece.
Chasing Cars would you recommend this over a Tucson? this looks more like a family car. I feel tucson can also easily fit a small family.
잘봤습니다^-----^
Thanks for your video^-----^
But that LCD...19TH century
But a very old engine still.... And why diesel... I don't drive enough to maintain a diesel....
Heavy-ish vehicle, the need for low-down torque and the Australian preference for this fuel type in large SUVs
Chasing Cars what do you think about the 2019 Skoda 132 portline
The Kodiaq Sportline? Love it.
Not a fan of the looks as seems over wrought - no jaguar F pace that’s for sure - I think I prefer Kia Sorento
It's certainly a radical departure from the old car but I found it did grow on me. And the new interior is lovely.
Cool
Please take more air before you say smth :)
I'm Korean. Normally I can't stand Hyundai designs. This one's all right. I hope they ditch ugly curves and go more with confident straight lines like this one. Interior is still lacking.
Sanghoon Lee what does being a korean has to do with your opion?
Hoon C. It means I live in Korea and see a thousand Hyundais on the street every single day. I have a legitimate reason to wish they were easier on the eyes because literally half the cars I see are Hyundais.
