I don’t see how some people in the comments translated her saying the Holy Spirit won’t help R. Kelly. I watched the video twice and didn’t hear her saying anything like that. She said HE was not ready. Meaning he was not ready to open up, hear, and heal. He was ready to put on a show, she’s trying to help him.

I swear this is true, I finally quit the disgusting habit of smoking when I humbled myself and prayed for His help. The first time after I quit that I had to put gas in my car, I left and realized that I DID NOT SEE the shelves full of cigarettes, and I never see them no matter where I go, He took it from my view and that's been almost 10 years ago. She was so right on "Not" helping R. Kelly. It would be saying that what he did was okay. The biggest irony is that at 51 Bill Wyman Of The Rolling Stones dated a Girl named Mandy who he thought was much Older, she was only 13 they dated for 6 years, then broke up and when he got caught, Mandy's Mother didn't file charges because after all he was so kind. He all but carried that family. The Stones warned him but he didn't listen, they eventually married divorced and she walked away with 8 Million Dollars. If that weren't strange enough his Son Stephen dated Mandy's Mother.

I remember that episode with that girl... that’s probably one of the few episodes where i thought iyanla got it wrong .. I think everyone wanted that girl to be so distraught, because she was taken away from a mother (she never knew ) . When her reaction was - I’m fine , I can and am dealing with it , people could not handle it because that’s not the response they were expecting, including iyanla.. so they tried to tell her she has repressed anger and feelings so naturally the girl got upset because she felt nobody was listening to her .. Wish her well
I think she had just numbed those feelings and Iyanla was forcing her to confront them. That wasn't a normal "you don't believe me when I say I'm fine upset" that was total and pure RAGE and she has a right to be enraged. Her whole life was a lie and even though it was a good life her mother and her entire identity was a lie. Her biological mother didn't go to heal with her so now the 1st disconnect she was stolen and now her mother who spent all this time trying to get her back is emotionally abandoning her after she's agreed to go on this emotional and spiritual journey with her

Hi Dee, I was scrolling past your comment and kind of got stopped in my tracks. I truly felt the sincerity in your statement and just wanted to encourage you to seek the Lord Jesus Christ. It sounds churchy but, in all sincerity, Jesus truly is the ultimate healer. He is the only being that doesn't need to tap into any other source other than Himself to help you, heal and make you whole. And, His word says that He loves us and promises to draw near to us when we draw near to Him. I don't know what you're going through but I know for a fact that Jesus is the answer and is able to provide wisdom where it's needed, provide healing where it's needed and guide you through whatever you're going through. Believe in Him, seek Him and you will find Him. He's faithful to keep His promises - you just gotta take the first step to trust in Him.
