It looks great, I have a master blaster, which is a very similar machine to this one, I find it works really well, it dries the car on its own, plus it’s amazing for intricate wheels, however I usually go in with a towel and quick detailer afterwards, just to catch any remaining water spots.

It’s a great machine, i got a similar one for DOGS. Bought it secondhand in Holland for $45. And is does the trick juist te same (even looks the same, witte the same options.
The variable speed setting is great for drying the dog! 👍🏻

18mth user, no issues, longer hose as an access'y is a must - only thing shoulder the hose like a DA lead when doing high up as can marr edges.For the other nozzles stretch some bike innertube over outer edge to save paint contact.
Mine doesn't look as good as that. Mines proper battered now lol. Great video Paul

Good video Paul may buy the blaster sidekick as hate the water drips when you dry the car and shut the doors it just ruins the finish
I have the Master Blaster which is great but it doesn’t matter which way I use it I always seem to blast water on an area that has just been dried, did u have the same problem when 1st using that ?

Lovely bit of kit, I've been using a Makita blower done the job. Not tried it in cold weather yet, bare unit really affordable if you have Makita 18v batteries already

I have been thinking about getting a small one like the Buddi, just to get those areas that are hard to dry with the drying towel.
I own the metro vac master blaster 8hp, if I had to replace it I’d definitely go for the smaller side kick it’s a lot cheaper and is more than powerful for what u need, hope this helps you

Next to my jet wash, my blower is a necessity I couldn’t do without. I have a Bruhl MD2800 which is very similar to the Big Boi Pro, a twin fan beast. I can dry the car in 15 mins without a towel👍

I bought a Pet Dryer for £54 from Ebay and it is fantastic! If your car is treated it dries in minutes. Has the same controls as this one but on the top instead of the side. I bet it's the same dryer hiked in price because of the word "detailing" tool.
Brian Gmail these are not cheap eBay blowers there built by a Australian company it’s 4hp 2800watt machine against a cheap eBay blower which is probably 800watt it’s built for a purpose to dry a car as as efficiently as possible there’s a saying you get what you pay for I had a smaller sidekick blower cost £100 there a must for any serious enthusiast all depends where you want to spend your money
@@PaulDoldenDetails Hi Paul, my Ebay one is 2800w, has the same windspeed and heat rating which is why I think the price discrepancy doesn't warrant it for me. It dries my car. Glad it is made in Australia though unlike my Chinese jobbie. All the best mate.

Ok, as much as would love to have the Big Boi,or master blaster in my detailing collection.....it is about $196 USD!!! I love that it uses heated air,nice feature,and filtered air...where an electric leaf blower blows unfiltered air.....but honestly how important is that? I am honestly not sure? I guess u could....put a wet and dry vacuum filter on the bottom of a leaf blower’s input collar with a big rubber band? Who knows if that would even work?
45-155mph is pretty impressive....but even the cheapest Toro electric leaf blower does 225mph, and 350 cfm output, at $65 or less if on sale. I have been sitting on the fence for 2 months, do I buy one of these cool air blower tools, or....should I...as my neighbors do...just use their existing leaf blowers or, just clean out the inside of my small hand held or large floor model wet and dry vac with the HEPA filter, stick the hose on the outlet, and I get filtered air ? And save money on the Big Boi or Master Blaster.
I think I’ve found something more satisfying than watching snowfoam being applied 🤔

So I find the variable control is great when I clean my engine and I can turn the force down for drying, also I use this on the interior to blow the dust out before I clean it all, also I find the fish tail adapter seems to take forever drying the car what do you think or am I setting it wrong lol
I don’t really use the fishtail it’s very slow 👍🏻
How do you find the 5m hose?
Does it stretch enough to leave in one fixed position to dry the roof and the full car or do you have to move the unit around?
Also if you pull the hose, does the unit drag around or does it have enough weight to stay still and hose still stretch?
Thanks in advance. I see they are offering an option with 9m hose, but I'm sure this would reduce the heat and power and also would require more room to store.

Never really had an issue with the hose but you do have to move it around the car it’s not really a problem

These are 50 quid on Amazon sold as pet dryers, no one should buy this at that price paul, its an china made pet hair dryer with some fancy neon branding which the company have slapped another 100 quid on, actually the ones on amazon are more powerful looking at this blowing the water. the only difference i see is the branding slapped on it. thanks for the video again this is my opinion based on what im seeing and what i use also the owner is wrong i have 3 attachments with mine is the metro blower on amazon and its deffo as good if not better than this for a third of the cost

@@PaulDoldenDetails just picked up a lightly used big boi blower r mini for £75 . Thanks for your reply . As long as it gets rid of excess water in the nucks and crannies I’m happy. Got a couple of woolly mammoth microfibres that’ll get the rest off
This will not dry a very wet car quickly, have to use a shammy to avoid water spots.

Bet that uses a fair bit of electric. Looks really handy though, nothing worse than a water drip when your in the waxing process.
3000w - so if you use it constantly on full power for half an hour, that's about 25-30p, depending on your supplier / tariff. Compare that with a £15 drying cloth, which has to be washed regularly etc... Might be cost effective, depending on how often you use it!

The safest way to dry your car
Why even dry your car ? It rains every week (almost every day in Scotland) I remember back in the day my grandad would sometimes get a chamois leather out to dry his car but that was only if he wanted extra time away from my granny 😎
Paul I see those bear car care air fresheners behind you I bought the casino 1 it was utter rubbish couldn’t smell it after a minute contacted them they sent another scent out this time bubblegum it lasts about 2-5 minutes there terrible

£150 for something which will take you longer to go round the whole car than a soft drying towel ?
Might as well just get an extension reel and plug a used hair dryer in from the charity shop for a fiver.
This is for people with too much money, and not enough common sense.
I was a valeter in a previous job, and I cannot see the point of these. I have never put scratches in any paintwork using a drying towel, or (and I know the 'bro- science bois' are going to jump on me), even a quality shammy leather either.
If you have washed the car properly, and dry it immediately afterwards, there will be no dirt on the paint to scratch it with either a towel or shammy.
You are going to get more scratches from natural causes, which can be polished out.
Christ, I think some people must be so gullible to keep throwing money at shit like this.
Nik Gnashers Thanks Nik for your comments I’ve several drying towels some costing over £30 each and do use them this is belt and braces safety the less you touch your cars clear coat the better and there’s way less chance of you inflicting swirls so £150 against a paint correction of £300/£1000 I think could be a worthwhile investment just saying 🙌🏻

You know your stuff, It just seems a bit pointless, it's not powerful enough to dry the car significantly faster than a hair dryer for a fiver, that is a fact my friend.
I stand by my point, that if you wash the vehicle properly, you can use a towel or even a quality shammy, and not put swirls into the clear coat.
I have done, for many years. I still use a shammy, and my paint work on my 2017 M140i is mint.
Yes I agree, the less you touch the paint the better, but £150 for somethign which is no better than a £5 hair dryer is for gullible people who have more money than common sense. In fact, I'd bet some of the better hair dryers are more powerful. Leaf blowers are definitely more powerful, and do you really need filtered air ?
I'm no hater my friend, and that is why I watch these videos, because I am genuinely interested in reviews of detailing products, because I love detailing my own car.
@@DjNikGnashers a £5 hair dryer, your splashing out a bit ain't ya😂😂, way to emphasis your ridiculous point, firstly u will put swirl marks in your paint by constantly using a drying towel on it, that is just a fundamental fact of friction, especially if u have a black car, anyone who says they have dryed their black car with a chamois or drying towel for any length of time and not put swirl marks in their paint is basically a liar, I think it's best u leave the correct car detailing to the professionals and u can continue to put swirl marks all over your car or dry it with the cheapest hair dryer ever made for £5 😂😂🤭🤭

I use a chamois only on glass, and I use a proper supersoft microfibre drying towel on the paintwork.
I claybar my paint and polish it with a DA polisher once a year, because EVERYTHING puts tiny scratches and swirls into your clearcoat, even a claybar does.
How is a hair dryer going to put swirls into my paint ? Even s £5 one, what difference does the cost of a hair dryer make to it's performance ? NONE, and please explain what difference there is between a hair dryer on cold heat, and a car dryer ?
