  • Bought this one for 3 bucks at the flea market, If I was paying attention, I would not have bought this one because there were others that were not bent, anyways I cleaned and repaired it to add to my arsenal of tools

Excellent job restoring a classic ratchet and saving it from ending up on a landfill.

Am I the only one watching him press this handle and wanting to yell "heat it up" lol. If you hear that metal it will bend easier and retain the shape and won't bounce back

The bow was the other way more towards the head. And grease I s a big nono inside a ratchet. 3 and 1 or none. Grease gets old and sticky.

Tell me why you think 3 in 1 is the only thing to use, Snap-On gives you grease in some of their rebuild kits, and it is a grease not oil, and yes grease does get old and sticky, put it will last longer than 3 in 1, 3 in 1 will evaporate over time. Older ratchets did come with an oil hole, now all new ratchets that I have disabled have used grease, so I want to know what type of research and development you have done to sway my thinking that these tool manufactures are wrong, I have used the same type of grease at work on 10 horsepower motors for years, some were installed in 1991 and run 24-7, you see I have had experience with what I use and in most of my videos I tell people use what YOU like, use what works for YOU, thanks for watching but I disagree and will be using grease!!!!!!!!!!!
