- Some people have asked where I get mt tools, well garage sales, flea markets, but mostly pawn shops, after my fire I have been trying to replace all my tools with used tools, mostly American made and I show how I am cleaning, polishing and general restoration of these tools. Tools make me money or save me money, easiest way for a poor boy like me is to make money is to save it!
Those PROTOs, Plomb breaker, the Jamestown Crescent, and the Snap-on made whatever you paid for this haul worth it. Your thoughts on Japanese steel are very helpful. Great vid, Ty.
Thanks, I am always on the lookout for a good buy!!!
That's a excellent haul for 60 bucks! That's the same as I do, buy a whole tool box or pail full, sort the best for my myself and the rest go to work. Sorry that you lost everything in a fire.
Yea, the fire sucked, but starting over is not so bad, I am buying everything used and trying to have fun at it.
great score I always look to buy tools in volume
you get the best deals that way 👍🇨🇦🖐
You and me both!
-the thing i thought was a seal puller, is really a puller for packing in water pumps
Thank you, I had to go back and look at the video, what kind of water pumps?
Pliers with 6 prongs I believe are for putting à crime on sweet metal like on gutter downspouts
Not sure if you got your money worth
THANKS!
@@billgray7914 The Klein hammers alone, new cost 60 bucks, the adjustable wrenches new are 50 bucks, and I understand that they are used, but when I am done they will look it, new that is, and tools for me make me money or save me money, and poor boys make money first by saving it, so saving money on tools to make money means I can buy T-bones an Rib eyes more often!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like sheet metal crimper for ductwork at the end
Laminated Craftsman pliers, those cheap ones they came out with several years ago.!!!
I was just going to say the same thing the ones with 3 pins on each side they do look quite old
Sheet metal crimpers
Great haul!
Thank you! 😊
Enjoyed
Thanks.
21mm same as 13/16" nice haul.
Thanks for the info!
Those will clean up real nice
Hope so!
That's good for 60 you had good luck with that
Thanks, and thanks for watching.
What do you use to clean with I keep a container of gun œil wipe with my tools works great
I use a lot of carb cleaner, and simple green!
Today I learned that Gedore, one of the best tool manufacturers in the world, used to have wrenches made in India. I googled: a lot of those ended up in the USA and gave them a bad reputation, they stopped doing it in 1986 and apparently they don’t like talking about it, lol
I am going to look that up, when I was a kid we use to find Gedore tools everywhere, especially when we lived around a military base, wonder why?
Long Craftsman are called t'appeler wrench I have a set of them
Thanks!
Long thin wrench is probable a tapped wrench. I have a set.
I think you right they are nice to use in tight places.!!!!
Tappet wrench.
The thin Craftsman wrench is a tappet wrench.
Thanks, I do like the thin feel of it, I am on the lookout for more!!!!
That's not stamped on a angle it's twisted from a hard life.
Never thought of that but now that I look at it again, I think you are right, still keeping it for myself it looks cool.
The dear Lord was smiling on you with that haul. You have to try electrolysis... It is cheap and it WILL get rid of all the rust so you don't have to paint over anything.
Here is a video that covers the easiest and cheapest setup... ruclips.net/video/eoOwvMsvqUQ/видео.html
