'너드커넥션(Nerd Connection)'은 '자신만의 세계에 깊게 몰두한 사람들(Nerd)이 음악을 매개로 연결되어(Connenction) 하나가 되어가는 과정’’이라는 의미를 가지고 있다. 그들은 브리티쉬 록의 강렬한 사운드에 팝 음악의 대중적 요소들을 녹여내어 대체불가한 밴드 사운드를 구현해낸다.
"어지러운 세상, 따뜻한 음악”이라는 표어 아래, 그들은 염세적이고 다소 어두운 것들, 그럼에도 아름답게 남는 것들에 대해 노래한다. 기승전결이 뚜렷한 멜로디와 깊이 있는 가사가 어우러진 음악을 통해 너드커넥션만의 밴드 세계관을 구축하고 있다.
2018년 데뷔 직후 탄탄한 실력을 인정받아 [EMERGENZA 세계밴드대회 2018 KOREA]’에서 우승을 거머쥐며 독일 'Taubertal Festival 2018’’ 무대에서 한국 대표로 공연했다. 이후 Mnet [너의 목소리가 보여] 시즌 6에 출연하여 대중들에게도 눈도장을 찍었으며 2021년 보컬 서영주가 JTBC [싱어게인]에 출연하며 대중적인 인기를 구가하는 밴드가 되었다.
2021년 5월 열렸던 단독 콘서트는 전석이 순식간에 매진되었고 곧바로 연 앵콜 콘서트 역시 전석을 매진시키며 새로운 밴드의 시대를 열 주역으로 너드커넥션의 이름을 당당히 올리고 있다.
2018년 8월 발매한 첫 싱글 ‘Hymn Of The Birds’ 부터 2021년 6월 발매한 싱글 ‘두려울뿐야’까지 꾸준한 음원 발매와 공연으로 팬들을 만나고 있으며, TV 프로그램 출연뿐만 아니라 다양한 컨텐츠를 제작하는 등 다양하게 활동 영역을 넓혀가고 있다.

Nerd Connection, a South Korean rock group whose sounds embody an irreplaceable rock band sound by melting popular music elements into British rock's immense sound.
Nerd Connection was formed in 2017 at Yonsei University, Seoul, with the lead vocalist and guitarist Young Ju Seo, band's leader and electric guitarist Seung Won Choi, and the bassist Jae Hyun Park deciding to pursue music as a career. The band was later filled with the drummer Yeon Tae Shin.
The band's name was coined 'Nerd Connection' shortly after the members were completed. The name means 'the process of people who are deeply immersed in their own world connecting and becoming one through music.'
The band sings about the pessimistic and somewhat dark and yet beautiful things of the world under the slogan, "Messy world, warm music."
Nerd Connection is building its own band's color and worldview through music that combines clear melodies and deep lyrics.
