This song is dedicated to all the young kids who stepped up their game listening to this. We went through struggle, hardship and responsibilities. This is made for us. This is us. One LOVE
It didn't ruin it. But it's still not on the level of the orginal. If they had brought in Atif for vocals, then this would've broken all records. And would've been better than the original.
Original was written and composed by Goher Mumtaz, the owner of the band Jal. Atif was the vocal of the band. After the song became popular, Atif left the band for the fame of solo artist and released an album Jal Pari including songs owned by the band Jal (Aadat, Dil Harey). He also sold it for the movie Kaliyug with no credit to Jal or Goher as composer. Also, Anu Malik copied it in film Chocolate. Atif, Anu Malik and Mahesh Bhatt faced lawsuit for copyright. To me, Atif is greater as a singer only. But Goher Mumtaz is better as overall package (As lyricist, Composer, Musician and Singer).
First of all Goher did mistake not atif. Atif wanted to work with jal but goher wanted money. In my point of view Atif was right. Though goher was writer but atif was part of that song so he had also right to use that song
@@fahadovi3249 U r talking on the basis of what Atif claimed. U saw the interview. There is mismatch in his side of story. & as he left the band to be the solo artist, it was proved that Jal belongs to Goher and Goher had the right to take decisions for his band. When Farhan left the band, they talked about it and did it by mutual understanding. What did Atif do? He got himself a concert (with no money as per his claim) whereas manager of Jal managed TV appearance for more publicity. If a TV channel covers a band and the vocal is missing, obviously there has to be a strong reason. May be that's why Goher made up a story. But, Atif botched the publicity of Jal and went to become solo artist when he saw success being vocal alone. But he forgot that the success he got there, that too had the foundation of Goher's lyrics and composition. And btw, all of these didn't just happened instantly. There must have been time to talk it out for both of them. By that time Atif even managed alternative musicians for his performances. Even if we agree that Atif was a part of the song, it wasn't his song. It is the song of Jal and Atif left Jal. That's why he faced lawsuit.
9 minutes 12 seconds of pure blessings. It was 2009 when first time i listened Sajni and aadat first time and today, when i am listening this version of aadat, it still give me the same feel. For a moment, i almost cried when that guy played adat lead on sitar and flute. It was '' you '' guys who inspired me to learn guitar. Sometimes i feel bad about jal band because of their breakup. If i want to make a wish then i want to see these guys performing together before my death. Lots of love from cross border. You guys have taken aadat on another level.

From the haunting melodies of the veena and flute in this video at 2.00 to the powerful vocals that resonate with every fiber of our being, their music has left an indelible mark on our hearts. Kamal baat
tanveer bhat i still remember the original one..
It was a blast..
Ahh good old memories
ON POINT !!
Cant agree more.
Agree with you.
Absolutely! 👍
What atif done it was totally wrong
First of all Goher did mistake not atif. Atif wanted to work with jal but goher wanted money. In my point of view Atif was right. Though goher was writer but atif was part of that song so he had also right to use that song
@@fahadovi3249
U r talking on the basis of what Atif claimed.
