I came to know about Xulfi in 2007 when the song "Laree chootee" was released. Then i heard "Dhadke Jiya" and absolutely fell in love with the artist called Xulfi.
So glad to see that now he is the most dominant force in the south asian music scene. Undoubtedly a legend.

so basically Adat was a very very very famous song in the early 2000's era ,sung by atif aslam and by the band Jal.it was famous all over pakistan and india and later feautured in a bollywood movie as well.this song alone changed the entire music industry in pakistan and had a major effect on music made after this with everyone trying to give some touch of adat in their song.on its 20 year anniversary Zulfi and nescafe basement decided to pay tribute to the song through instruments.every sound of the instrument represents some words of the song with Atif's voice just automatically playing in our heads when we hear this tune.the guy in the video is Goher mumtaz who was the song writer for adat.him saying har jaggah es Jal to pay homage his old band.love you're reaction videos to pakistanai music please do keep it coming

ooh this takes me back to my college days! this song came out and became a hit nationwide. it was written and composed by goher mumtaz and sung by atif aslam. their band was called jal. but surprisingly right after that they split up. and atif began his solo career and goher made the band 'jal' with farhan saeed as vocalist. jal means water. here he is using is it as a double meaning.

Their band name was Jal which is broken off. They were 3 friends who made this band but now he(Goher Mumtaz) is only one who is singing as jal(somehow). Rest of two are now solo singer Atif Aslam and Farhan Saeed.

    • @florad629

Farhan Akhtar? 3 friends? 😧 kuch bhi?
Atif n Farhan Saeed* hardly ever met coz they both never in the band at a same time.
Atif n Gohar were in the band alongwith another musician. Atif left the band. Gohar brought Farhan as a "substitute" of Atif, because Gohar was a guitarist n he needed a voice. First atif voice was used. When atif went away, farhan did singing for Jal. None of them was a friend of each one. They were only professionals

@@allaysheeraz9202 how old are you? I dont think you were a grownup in 2002, 2003?
We witnessed the whole events then there as teens. This is what happened. In 2003 atif, gohar n a long haired musician played songs. Then in 2-3 years atif left it. We read their fights in newspapers. Gohar said, time will prove who is better among us. N then time proven Atif. After Atif departure to India coz he gave aadat n lamhay to mahesh bhat movie "kalyug" gohar hired farhan saeed as singer. Farhan sang wo lamhay (slow version) again. This song has 3 versions. First rock/fast by Atif which he used to sing in concerts in 2003. Then the one slow in Farhan voice n one filmi in Atif voice for a bollywood movie, i think "Zehar". So now, anyone can made any story but we saw what they were doing at those times. Even according to Atif n Gohar interviews they were not even friends. They were just batch fellows. Gohar was looking for a voice, he saw Atif singing in a function in college he contacted atif n asked him to play in Jal. I am not offended, im just stating facts. Sorry if it sounds harsh to you. There is not a single song/video/performance of Jal where Atif n Farhan appeared at same time. Coz they were never in band in same time. But i have heard a lot of times by people who were kids or not born at that time that atif gohar n farhan were in Jal together, n this feel strange to me that who spread this rumour?

@@florad629 m mother of 3 kids. So you can imagine my age. We follow jal when atif was 16. Adat released when he was 17. But after they broke off. Why they will said they were friends or something like that. Goher never hired atif. They started work together as band. Atif's elder brother was their managing director. He left his job for that purpose. They all have no money. they decided to pay Atif's brother after they earn something. That was the main cause of their breakup according to Atif.So that type of collaboration happens only in friends or people who know each other personally. If you are from Pakistan, you knew it better before Jal band people saw Atif on tv in a show lead by Yasir. So we follow him long time back. Everyone told his side of story. What is real truth God knows. I appreciated you reply. Blessing 👍🏾

Everywhere is "Jal" its very deep line.
Actually Jal used to be the most famous band of Pakistan and India as well in 2000s era
Atif, Farhan Saeed and Goher Mumtaz were three main people in it, and Goher mumtaz (the guy in the video singing) created the band.
Atif then left the band, then Farhan left the band.
Now all three are famous individually and main characters in their songs.
So basically he is saying Everywhere is Jal.
You know Atif ruled bollywood singing industry continuously for 15 years. Even if today if Atif sings in one of the movies of India the movie itself magically gets successful if not at least that song of the movie gets trending and on no1.
And Jal's most famous song Aadat is written and music composed by Goher actually.
Now there is Jal's version, Atif solo version. Goher mumtaz solo, Farhan saeed +Goher mumtaz version and Kaliyug version lmao.

Adat (I am used to it), copied from a website for those who don't know the lyrics
    Don't know since when
    I have my hopes up
Why do i always miss you
    don't know since when
No matter how far you are from me
    i am close to you
I am used to living like this
I have no complaint from life
    either
I am just alive under blue sky
My love for you keeps growing
    Your footsteps torment me
    Memories are so deep
    that my heart sinks
    and in these eyes
    sadness turns into tears
I am used to living like this
    Everything is darkness
    All the words remain
    Forget them
    Erase them

Jal means water and here the name of Band.
They are chanting and singing 'Har Jagah hai Jal' meaning 'everywhere is Jal'
now take it by water or band name
