  • I feel like I can't give you an adequate video description this time. This song reminded me, that I can still be emotional and that I can actually feel. I've been going through hard times and still take pills that have the side effect of me being less emotional. So I have to say thank you, for bringing this peace of art to me.

Muslim aur religious song, quite contrary terms.
Aj se 10-12 sal phlay musalman is bat pe fakhr krtay thy k hindoun k bar-aks hum muslims me religious chezo pe songs nai hain, religious events pe songs nai hotay, aur aj islamic religious song kaha ja ra? Deen kitni taizi se uthta ja ra. Please call it a sufi song n not a religious song. Islam doesnt have religious songs like christanity n hinduism.
Only humd n naat were originally but they should be without music. Thats how our religion is !!

Religious songs ??. Where did you learn this term ?

    • @mahnoorjanjua4263
      @mahnoorjanjua4263 2 года назад

@@umaira5532 basically it's wrong to say religious songs i admit especially when you're talking about Islam , but on the other hand a non-muslim or atheist like him may never get our point of view according to our own perspective the way we have been taught, teachings of Islam that we learnt can't always put in the same way to teach other whose background is totally different right ? Things are same but the language/vocabulary words of learning can be different for example for him it's better to say religious songs from tht he got the same idea i.e our religious based lyrics and sufi music touch , through this word saying simple religious songs . But if we say what we have learnt like our vocab words to describe him , he or like him many can never get the same idea behind bcuz of their own mind of thinking!!!

This song is about self-journey. Its not a spiritual song. Its a philosophical song.
Self is always connected to God, thats why you see the element of God here, otherwise song is about self

Self journey to God and it is created by a sufis for contemplation of GOD. So it's not about self but GOD entirely.

I'm a Christian and have been moved to tears by this song. Unfortunately, it's fashionable to disrespect any Christian culture, traditions or beliefs, but this is part of the burden we're supposed to bear. I'm happy to be hated by humans if it means I can please God. When I listen to this song, it's the same God (The Creator) we're praying to, so for example when she shouts, "ALLAH!", my eyes fill with tears, my heart stops, and I hear "FATHER!". Just say "God"!!!

Generally speaking, songs talking about spirituality aren't always talking about worship in the literal sense and aren't necessarily devotional songs.
Rather spirituality or strong belief in God, irrespective of religion, is a way of life in this region, so you will often find such references in the lyrics, even in very romantic songs.
Just wanted to point this out.

You're not the 1st one to feel that way. One of India's finest singers "Sonu Nigam" couldn't hold back his tears when he heard this song. I think you have a liking to these kind of songs with a spiritual twist, so I recommend you listen to Coke Studio's "Mun Kunto Mola" by Ali Azmat and Jawed Bashir.
By the way, if you remember the song "Yeh Dunya" from Coke Studio Season 14, it's rock portion was written by Adnan Dhool, the male singer in "Bol Hu".

Your reaction = 👌🏽. Yes it has the same impact on me wherever I listen to it.
Let me share the interesting background facts about this song. The lead singer "Adnan Dhool" of the band "Soch" is also the lyricist of the song. He is the same guy who is behind the lyrics of almost 90% of the coke studio season 14 songs so far including your favourite "Tu jhoom". The team behind this song is the same team which is now working on the Coke studio season 14. Xulfi the main driving force, the power house has come a long way and he is himself a very accomplished musician. He is the best collaboration musician I have known in the country so far. Nescafé basement was headed by Xulfi as an alternate platform for fresh talent. He also was behind Pepsi battle of the bands which was, as the name suggests, a platform for alternate music bands and their live performances. It was this song and "Resistance" by Abdullah Sidiqui from Nescafé basement along with "Jila watan" live performance by the band call (a band which Xulfi made in early or mid 2000s) from Pepsi battle of the bands that got Coke studio management thinking and so we now have season 14 as a result. Do react to those songs as well. You can also see musicians in this song who later on formed Karakuram band that performed "Yeh duniya" in the CS season 14
Ps. @13:15 of your video, the guy in white shirt wearing headphones is Xulfi.

You are not the first to cry to this song. You’re doing great on this journey. Btw, the CS 14 music producer, Xulfi, came over from Nescafé Bsmt, where he mostly mentored young and underground artists. A genius. The first below will intrigue you with traditional vocals and rap you will love. The 2nd and 3rd links are to NB songs tributed to living and past rock guitarists. Be patient with these and enjoy.

You know most of the songs in Pakistan are about love and other things not so profound but I think the reason most people want you to listen to these/or why they are so popular is that when life is hard, which it is in Pakistan for many folks, it’s the faith that pulls them through. The overall belief that, if you do good deeds and follow the righteous path in life, god shall be in agreement with you. It’s pulled me through tough times. Stay positive brother! Love the reaction and the effort to understand the meaning/intentions of the artists
