after watching this video i can sum up that transformation is involve the changes of a sentence structure. so there is a process of changing the structure from deep structure into surface structure. deep structure contain mental structure, meanwhile the surface structure is the word that we spoken. there are 3 kind of transformation rules that explain in this video which are Particle Transformation(T-prt), Adverbial Phrases transformation(T-AdvP), and Relative Clause Transformation (T-Rel).

Thank you for the explanation, Sir. Based on this video, I learned that there are three types of transformations such as T-prt, T-AdvP and T-Rel. In addition, the important point I got from the video is that if we want to transform a sentence, we must first determine its deep structure and then we can transformation the sentence.
Transformation is the process of changing the structure from the deep structure (a mental structure which is in our mind) into the surface structure (the structure which is written out or spoken)
In this video we study three kind of transformation : Particle transformation (a transformation that involves particles), Adverbial phrases transformational rules and Adjective clause or relative clause transformation.

It is a clear explanation. Based on the explanation, there are some types of transformation that is particle transformation, Adverbial Phrases transformational Rules ( T - AdvP ), and Adjective Claude or Relative Claude Transformation ( T - Rel ). Based on the examples, transformation is to change the deep structure into surface structure.

To convert a sentence, we must first establish its deep structure, and after that, we can do the transformation. The sentence structure that was previously in the deep structure can be moved to the end or vice versa.

we learnt from the video that transformation is the process of changing the sentence structure from deep structure to surface structure. There are 6 types of transformation structure such as; particle transformation, adverbial phrase transformation, Adj clause or relative clause, inflectional, negative sentence, and interrogative sentence. However, in this video we have only learned 3 of the 6 types.
At first, I thought this material would be difficult to understand because I am not familiar with the word transformation in a sentence. But, when I watch this video and you explain the sentence examples from the three sub-topics, this material is very easy to understand. If I pay attention, the changes in each sentence that have been transformed are not so different from the previous one. Therefore, I think it will not be difficult. Now I understand more about tree diagrams. A tree diagram is a new management planning tool that depicts the hierarchy of tasks and subtasks needed to complete an objective. The tree diagram starts with one item that branches into two or more, each of which branches into two or more, and so on.

Thank you for the material, sir. I have gotten three points from the video to make three kinds of transformation (T-prt, T AdvP and T-Rel). Firstly, it is for T-Prt, we should know about where the particle place on the sentences so that we can be easily draw tree diagram. Secondly, T-AdvP has main point that we should identify the element of AdvP so that the analysis is more easy to write. Thirdly, we should able to identify the structure of Relative Phrase in the element of NP so that we can draw where Relative pronoun place. That's all for me. Thank you so much, Sir.

thank you for the explanation sir. the video discusses about the transformation of sentence strucutre because of the transformation rules. firtsly i think that it will be hard to understand, but as long as i know the PS rules, its no longer difficult. and i just know that we can put the same constituent on the same branches. from the video, we know that there are six types of transformation but we only discuss three of them. particle transformation isnt difficult, different with relative clause and adverbial phrase where it has a new sentence as the constituent. then, in the video, we also have to identify the appropriate PROr to change the repeated phrase in the sentences. and also, i wonder that whether a sentence can consists of two or more PROr.

I just want to make sure that I understand about this topic.
what I understand is that if we want to transform a sentence, we must determine its deep structure first, after that we can do the transformation of the sentence. We can move the sentence structure, which was originally in the deep structure it may be placed at the end and the transformation is placed at the beginning or vice versa.
And there is also the possibility that new rules will be created as happened in the Adverbial Phrase and Relative clause.
Is my understanding correct sir?

Thank you for the explanation, sir. So, clause transformation from the deep structure to the surface structure makes the analysis by using the tree diagram easier I think. Moreover, it also makes an effective sentence by avoiding repetition for relative clause. However, what about the other two kinds of clause such as particle and adverbial phrase transformation? I don’t know what the benefit we got or what the purpose of the clause transformation is
