I have loved them since the first episode in 1975. David was my fav but loved Paul too. David will be missed. Thanks for the memories. I can't stop watching the reruns when I can find them.

Real shame he didn't get his own TV series UK since he was based here from 1990. But he showed up in support quite a bit. RIP. SaH was one of biggest 70s but Salem's Lot was up there for me. RIP

The chemistry the love they had for each other. I think that's why the show was so successful. The emotion they had for each other. It was cool and amazing. Then their is the car. I am a Hutch girl, so heartbroken by his passing. I had posters all over in my bedroom. I was 11 years old when I watched the pilot and was hooked by David Soul, liked Paul too but David was my hero growing up.
Starsky and Hutch, Kelly and Scotty, and Crockett and Tubbs are the most iconic crime fighting duos in tv history! Every cop duo since has emulated those duos but never matched or topped them. R.I.P. David Soul and Bernie Hamilton.

Comme toutes ces personnes expriment à la perfection ce que représentait cette série ! Tous ce que David et Paul lui ont apporté ! Cette merveilleuse et exceptionnelle amitié qu'ils ont osé montrer à l'écran, et qui était si émouvante et souvent si bouleversante à voir ! On ne les oubliera jamais ! Hutch/David est parti, mais il reste dans nos coeurs !

i was 7 years old when the first season and episode was broadcasted and ten years od when it was the final episode! i always live this show! i see again on platform all those serie!

Great show! Michael lost a young child from HIV from the breast milk. His wife contracted HIV from a blood transfusion after giving birth. His wife died in 94 or 95 from complications from the HIV. There was a book about this back in the early 90s about them. I didn't know David had died. Love them both. I hope Michael is doing well and his other child is too.
Jake is doing well & is in charge of the EGPAF Foundation. Paul has taken it hard and is trying to come to terms with David's death. Please keep Paul ìn your prayers always! As as Antonio!🙏🙏😥♥️♥️♥️

Thx for that vidéo. First aired in France on june 10 th 1978 , i was 13 yrs old, and immediately feel in love with David Soul 😁. Loved the show at the seconds it started. Fan of David and Paul but David was my crush . He was so handsome, very good actor ( Paul too) and such a great singer with a beautiful voice. He was so good in every movies & series he made. R.I.P David 🙏you will be missed.😢

Bonsoir Patricia. J'aurais pu, moi aussi, dire la même chose . Pour ma part j'avais 16 ans et étais aussi amoureuse de Hutch/David ; il était en effet si beau !! Le seul blond qui a été l'exception qui confirme la règle car je préfèrais plutôt les bruns 😂
J'ai adoré ces deux gars, les adore encore à ce jour et je pense, pour toujours. J'ai beau les voir et revoir, les émotions sont exactement les mêmes. Deux acteurs magnifiques et si talentueux !!
David restera dans nos coeurs et Hutch, lui, est immortel et sera toujours jeune et sublime ❤

I LOVE this video!! I was 14 when the show came on, and I was in love with it because of how cute they were. Then the episodes truly showed a bromance between them and to watch that just threw my teenage hormones into high gear. I couldn't wait for the next episode. Hutch was my favorite but I loved them both. I have every season of the show and need to watch them again. This video shows so many scenes from the episodes that really drove me crazy back them and amazingly it's doing the same thing to me now. Of course there was the "white striped tomato" and I wanted that Gran Torino so bad, I wanted Starsky's tennies. I didn't have the money to buy them back then, but was able to get shoes very similar and I wore them all the time. I still look online to find them, but when I do, the price is ridiculous.
I know David Soul is Hutch to so many people but to me he'll always be Ben Mears from Salem's Lot!

Great Memories from a great 70s series. Paul Michael Glaser could be funny but David Soul really had a lot of great moments. The Season Finale at the end of Season 2 where the duo is being accused of committing crimes and being threatened and yelled at by police chief ryan. Capt. Dobey wants to know who is trying to frame the duo and Hutch yells at him saying "I don't know, if I knew I wouldn't be standing here shouting". That was the episode with the S&H look alike imposters. Another was in Season 4 Hutch leans on Binky and he tells him I have this allergy when it comes to cops and Hutch tells him "You're about to get one big rash". The final episode at the end of Season 4. That was all about Hutch who flew to San Francisco to arrest to head of the mob James Gunther played by ( William Prince) who wanted both Starsky & Hutch eliminated. Being that Paul Michaels character was laid up in the hospital Hutch worked very great on his own in the final episode.

He played that sinister motorcycle cop in the dirty Harry film. Oh yeah just remembered at TV movie he did around 1990 were he played a Neo Nazi svengali to younger Skinhead prospects. It's got this hysterical scene in a TV studio with a lampshade - nearly died laughing 😂. But he was fascinating in that role
Growing up in the 1970,s everybody loved starsky & hutch it was the first show off it’s kind and was the blueprint for all buddy cop shows too follow often imitated but it has never been duplicated Mel Gibson and Danny glover came close .in the lethal weapon movies but starsky and hutch remain ,the gold standard Antonio fargas as buggy bear was not a snitch but he was starsky and hutch main line street connection and entrepreneur owning a restaurant bar and always being his own man he got the part as Huggy bear because Barry shear directed him in the movie across a 110th street with Anthony Quinn yaphet kotto Barry shear also directed the pilot movie starsky & hutch the actor that played Richard ward in across 110th street played captain Dobby in the pilot but replaced by Bernie Hamilton for the series .Paul micheal glaser said in recent interveiw he a David knew each other casually from seeing each other around the studio lot from time to time but became close when they started working together and he loved David soul and they really worked hard too make those weekly scripts the writers were giving them too work with that’s why the show rarely ever had a bad episode.some off the best episodes are the 5 that Paul micheal glaser directed there really good .the fix from season one blood bath from season 2 the plague from season no.3 targets with out a badge season 4 and sweet revenge season no.4 directed by Paul micheal glasser .Paul’s character starsky did love the Torino and any flashy car but Paul and David hated the car and Paul said ever chance he got he would wreck the Torino which you can see in the show he always used the curb too slow the Torino down and it’s true that some time they would tow the Torino because Paul said he drove off on a side street and he skipped the car into some peoples front yard and they lost there insurance.love Paul and David rest in peace david soul 👍✌🏿

I am not all gushy over S&H like these old women are but I do know the actors were passionate. The episode where Starsky has to tell Hutch the bad news about his girlfriend, David Soul played it a little too real, I thought he was going to jump out of the screen in rage. In fact in one foobar Soul missed his mark and he temporarily went out of focus while raging at Starsky. The cinematographer got him back in focus and the scene was kept. Unfortunately Spelling-Goldberg couldn't decide just what they were making at times. Constantly changing the theme songs, flipping between serious life drama episodes to some what comedic "undercover" episodes. The pilot was considered a theatrical movie in quality, but later episodes degraded into just plain theater.
