When I used to hear about the "Good Ole days " I used to laugh. But now I wish we all could go back!!!! Starsky and Hutch, one of the best cop shows! Period!!!!
I was in high school when Starsky and Hutch was on television and I just noticed Hutch’s car was a 1974 model. Without your trip down memory lane I may have never noticed. Thank You!
That's the strange thing about when I first heard what year it was...The show come out in 75 when I was a kid, and since it looked like an old clunker I figured it was from the 60s...but to find out later in life the thing was only 2 years (1973) before the show started and looking that rough a shape had me shaking my head.
MI SERIE ESPECIAL ERA MUY JOVENCICA Y NO ME PERDIA UN CAPITULO MIS AMORES PLATONICOS MIL GRACIAS POR ESTOS MARAVILLOSOS ACTORES POR ESTA GRANDISIMA SERIE Y POR HACERME TAN FELIZ CUANDO HOY DIA PUEDO SEGUIR VIENDOLA ,😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘
This program set a standard for cop shows. A new feel to the whole genre. It was a new time, with new concepts in everything, and not just t.v. S&H exemplified the times. And like MASH, they made a serious subject entertaining, along with suspense and action. WTG Ken and Dave.
Love how Hutch tells Starsky to "just get out" as he jerks the wheel and Starsky almost loses the siren, and smiles. Totally genuine, and not in the script. That's part of what made this show so G.D. great!!!
@TealCircle that dream was hilarious! Lol! And I'm the exact opposite... I like dark hair with blue eyes, especially with long lashes, lol. And Chris Reeves during the Superman years... Whew! Gasp & swoon! I'd be all tossing my head back, putting the back of my hand up to my forehead and fainting lol
I'm still watching this broadcast on MOLOTOV TV. I've reached at season 3 episode 22! I was 7 years for the first episode of the season 1 and 10 years for the last season!
Lol This is the car I own, beat up a little like hutch’s too only one dent though, but black instead of tan/brown. He is right to be so loyal to it, they are amazing running cars, never fails me. If only I could make the door honk the horn like his
and an extra wire from your horn positive to the door buzzer positive and it will unlike the show though it will go on from both doors not just the driver.
You did it again!! I love Eating Habits and now The Genuine Hutchinson Original!! You must continue with the collages. They're refreshing to watch. I bet you'll start a trend with this new idea!! Daniel Boone, you're definitely a pioneer (comment from Eating Habits)!!
It's hard to believe that David Soul is said to say in a tv interview, that when he was given this car for the series, it was brand new. He hated it, and both him and Paul Michael Glaser decided to beat the crap out of it to make it look like an "Old Beat Up Wreck" They must have done a good job on it because they succeeded. Poor Old Ford Fairlane.
Gary Dunn It wasn't exactly brand new. When ABC/Spelling-Goldberg Productions made the deal with the Ford Motor Company in 1974,a fleet of 1973 Ford Galaxie 500's was thrown into the deal, 5 of which were painted tan and beat up to represent Hutch's car. One of them is seen in the 90 minute pilot of TJ Hooker. The one's that were made up to be patrol cars were babied as they served the same purpose for 4 different shows (S&H, SWAT, The Rookies and Charlie's Angels)
Tank Stoner I don't remember these cars on Charlie's Angels. Bosley drove a Thunderbird, the three girlshad a beige coloured Mustang 11, a white Mustang 11 Cobra, and a red Pinto, if my memory serves me right.
Tank Stoner Yeah, come to think of it, you're right. On the opening sequence on Charlie's Angel's, one of them is seen dressed as a cop standing next to what looks like a Ford Police car. I think it was Farrah Fawcett. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't most US cop shows in the 70's and early 80's use Dodge cars.Challengers, Coronets, Monaco's and Diplomats. I live in the UK, and I have a limited knowledge of US cars.Mostly from reading US car books, and attending American car shows over here.
+Gary Dunn You're right on the Coronets, Monacos (both sizes) and Diplomats. The 1970's version of the Challenger didn't have a police package version (though the 2008-present version does). There were also Satellites, St. Regises, LeBarons, Newports, Volares, Aspens, Royal Monacos, Furys and Gran-Furys. All of these were made by Chrysler.
Really? Starsky's car is the heart of the show Hutch's car is pile of junk that only exists in the background but overall I do love cats do I do love Hutch's car but not over Starsky's Striped Tomato the star of the show along with Starsky & Hutch
its kind of funny because in real life Hutch's car would be the unmarked standard sedan type car(though maybe not quite as beat up) that1970's street cops would likely drive not not Starsky's flashy red and white Torino
I drive a more modern version of Hutch's car. A white 2006 Crown Vic with peeling paint, several small dings and dents, faded black steel wheels with no hub caps, and a silver right rear door from a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. I'm an amateur radio operator, and have 4 antennas on the trunk lid. 238,000 miles and runs like new. Never have to worry about leaving it in a parking lot. I sure feel sorry for people with $1000+ monthly car payments. NOT.
Crazy about the ones that David directed he had one with grate insight on the Herman condition and how the streets really were . Once again he was a wonderful human being who love life and people all kinds of people
I actually met the actor who played Huggy Bear. You could get your picture taken with him next to a Starsky and Hutch Torino for a small fee. I really wanted to sit in the car but you weren't allowed.
Vieron eso? La licencia del Gran Torino de Starsky no tiene el clásico número 537ONN, tiene 849ASB! Eso prueba una vez más que no siempre usaron el mismo auto, no?
We'll never see shows like this again. That's why I'm so glad, we can watch the repeats. RIP Mr Soul🙏🏾♥
Loved this show. Great guys. Great chemistry. Great Gran Torino.
The greatest and Iconic Buddy cop show on the planet. Thank you, William Blinn.
2021 Rules forever starsky and hutch was the best 👍 man.♥♥♥♥♥👍🎅🌲.👍.
Ooooh they were so great together, nothing and no one could beat them ❤❤❤❤. Those were happy days😅😅😅😅.
I loved that car too. Always thought about restoring it.
Merle's the Earl was a fantastic and lovable character.
What a great series; Starsky & Hutch. What fond memories those lived while this famous series was broadcast.
I have the entire series on dvd, including the "Original Pilot Episode"
Two police icons from the 7o's and 80's.
Thank you for all those years of fun and entertainment. The best!
I MISS THEM DAYS TOO. DAMMM
I miss those days.
Merle the Earl was so funny, a great character ❤️
When I used to hear about the "Good Ole days " I used to laugh. But now I wish we all could go back!!!! Starsky and Hutch, one of the best cop shows! Period!!!!
I'm watching it now Saturday afternoon on Cozi TV

Comparto lo mismo con vos, no me perdía cada capítulo.
Love the extra feature of honking with your door open... Gets me every time :D
I love the scene where Huggy Bear is selling jewelry. Please give me the good old days with the good old cars. The car has soul, David Soul.
Merle is also Woodrow, Aunt Ester's drunk husband on Sanford and Son!
I loved Merle the Earl: Let me find something to hit you with.
columbos car was worse than hutches
Merle the Earl a legend
Rest in Paradise Raymond Allen
That moment when he rolls the window down and the handle comes off makes me laugh my ass off every time

Love to hear them banter back and forth about hutch car so fun to hear how hard starsky tries to get him to get another car
Love how Hutch tells Starsky to "just get out" as he jerks the wheel and Starsky almost loses the siren, and smiles. Totally genuine, and not in the script. That's part of what made this show so G.D. great!!!
I got standards to maintain, standards.
I have a 1973 Galaxie 500. Great car!
Classic......the car, the horn and of course Merle the Earle. Thx for this video...made me laugh out loud.

Cómo extraño esta serie, la sigo viendo, digo, extraño esa época.
Just Beautiful!
Damn, Starsky is too cute.
@TealCircle Ive never cared much for blondes lol. Team Starsky for me!
I've always prefered blond david soul and also as speaking voice and acting
Gotta love that car...
Thanks to all who upload all the car bits and edit out the rotten plot lines. You're doing the best of work.
Que grande estos dos actores me saco el sombrero !! Divinos los disss
YEAH MEEEE TOOO SURELY MISS THOES DAYS AS WELL. I LIKE THE WAY PAUL TALKS ITS FUNNNNNY😆😆😆😆😆
I'm still watching this broadcast on MOLOTOV TV. I've reached at season 3 episode 22! I was 7 years for the first episode of the season 1 and 10 years for the last season!
There are so many collages to be done for this show, I'll think about it! They have so many great recurring gags going on between those two :)
Lol This is the car I own, beat up a little like hutch’s too only one dent though, but black instead of tan/brown. He is right to be so loyal to it, they are amazing running cars, never fails me. If only I could make the door honk the horn like his

OMG Thandie!! You have the gift - not only to entertain me - but to make me LMFAO!! thanx so much for these vids....
Ya know that clunker really does tend to grow on you.....and gotta love the man who loves his clunker.
Damn!! Hutch drives his beater just as recklessly as Starsky drives the Torino!!
@sh4evr66 Glad you liked it! Merle the Earl was just phenomenal, I've been laughing for hours while I was making it :)
last clip of the car is the best one always makes me smile a bit
Garbage belongs with garbage.
-Merle the Earl, 1976
"Ive never seen garbage eat garbage " Superman, 1979
*Marie:* Maybe I like garbage!
*Rocky:* Come on! Nobody likes garbage!
-Rocky (1976)
love this video.
I think is sexy when Hutch gets Mad he's too cutie.
Yo wtf
LOL, I had forgotten about the horn. What a piece of crap. Very funny. Thanks for posting.

other characters drove the 73 Galaxies and one made up as a police car shows up in the opening credits.

Hutch's car looked like that because they both hit the shit out of it with a sledge hammer and a crow bar, lol
I remember that in one of their interviews. David Soul said it looked too new. Paul was the one who got David started customizing it.
Esse carro do Hutch não presta, é uma lata velha.
I. MISS THOSE DAYS. TOOO
I guess I'm the only one who likes Hutch's car over Starsky's.... Oh well!
Really? Starsky's car is the heart of the show Hutch's car is pile of junk that only exists in the background but overall I do love cats do I do love Hutch's car but not over Starsky's Striped Tomato the star of the show along with Starsky & Hutch
Gorgeous location too
I've been binging this show and I've noticed what appears to be the same white Beetle in almost every episode,.lol.1:57.
Hahaha!! Me too! (About the binging, not the car) That's really funny!
@@scarlettjane5240 I couldn't stop watching! was like a brainwashed zombie!
Hutch has always been my fav
Every time he opened the door
To bad that people who have tablets and not computers are left out of some of the videos
Love the car. Open the driver's door and the horn goes off.😂❤
I loved this!
Sgt. Rick Hunter drove a similar car to Hutch's while his partner drove a flashier Dodge Daytona ...kinda of a similar vibe
In 2021, good memories when I was 20 years old.
rest in peace david soul
Starsky looks gorgeous at 3:16!!!

Love starsky & hutch xxx
Wish this was on MeTV or H&I
U. GOT THAT. RIGHT. FOR A GOOD. LOOKING. GUY. HE NEEDS BETTER LOOKING CAR
I actually met the actor who played Huggy Bear. You could get your picture taken with him next to a Starsky and Hutch Torino for a small fee. I really wanted to sit in the car but you weren't allowed.
Indeed! I had a crush on the car too (the Torino, obviously), I'm a man like that :P
Merci !!
@6castor6 LOL, did I surprise you this time Cas?! Nobody is too young for S&H (and MERLE THE EARL), come on! They are the best show on earth :)
I own a 1975 Ford Thunderbird brown rust color today. Montgomery,MN.
How could you do police work in that thing? Crooks could hear and see you coming miles away!😂🤣
They must've gave that 73 hell it was only 3 to 4 years old during filming
Vieron eso? La licencia del Gran Torino de Starsky no tiene el clásico número 537ONN, tiene 849ASB! Eso prueba una vez más que no siempre usaron el mismo auto, no?
you ever heard Hutch sing
green 1974 Chevrolet Camaro (originally for STARSKY but without the stripe) would have been perfect for HUTCH. Rest SOUL✝☝
Fantastic🤣🤣🤣
Soul drove a Maverick in at least two different Quinn Martin shows. He could have driven a performance version of the Maverick on this show.
Perhaps the best american 👮 american series in the seventys
Ojalá y pongan la serie otra ves y muchas más
I love these guys
someone saw the license plate from starsky at 0:25 it should be normally be 537 ONN and not 849 ASB
4.48 HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, lol
