I'm curious if the power cord is like 8 guage and a guy could buy them to upgrade other radios that have shabby power cords.

Hg makes rhe transistors.. 9 gauge wire but 4 gauge required if u extened it

The wide band .ic mod we offer works great on the 99n2 and 99n4 ad well as the Longhorn. But yes a road king does great as well

I reccomend either.. But if you get the N2 you might find yourself wishing you went with the N4.. MO POWER

Hi there how stable is there radio on ssb , is their a lot of drifting on ssb
It is very stable. The 99n4 and 99n2 work excellent on am and ssb.. I personally recommend the clarifier mod
