Nice LP-500 ! I was going to get a 100 but, waited. I do like the options but waiting on UHF/VHF options, so will be using the CMU for UHF/VHF wattages. I do have a dual 41 meter with a couple of slugs - can't wait to sell and get into the 500 soon !
Oh yea your into the ham stuff so I get what your saying. It's really perfect for the 11 meter guys like myself. Nice to know I won't ever have to buy any more bird 43 elements. 👍
I just got the 99n4 with the 4 2879s, It’s definitely a bad boy! Can’t wait to put it in my 🚛. Got my Cobra 148 and TS DX250 I’m gonna shoot your way to check everything out and pair them for me whenever you take mail ins again. The 148 is going in the 🛻.

I just recently purchased a Ranger RCI X9. And I can say that yes it has a new board in it and it does not drift on sideband. .. for a long time I would never buy a ranger or RCI product With ssb because of the drifting .. mine does an average of about 120w on a.m. and roughly 130 W on ssb. . I also use a Yaesu md-100 Studio mic hooked up to a Heil foot pedal. . And also going through a UR6QW 8 band graphic equalizer with compressor. And everyone tells me that I have studio-quality sound without any distortion. Sometimes I'll put extra Lowe's in the EQ and some people say I sound like Barry White LOL but anyway anyone who purchase that radio or the X9 you're not going to go wrong they are both fantastic radios. Now on the downside I'm not too happy about the rt1 finals.

That setup that your using sounds cool. I actually am thinking about ordering some of the little eq boards that can get installed inside the radios and playing around with them. Nice radio!! People think bird is word it's good but the numbers vary pretty much from slug to slug.The coaxial dynamic slugs are quite a bit looser than bird slugs. Nice LP bro always fun to get a new toy that thing looks like it's packed full of options!!
I'm still learning all the features of the new LP meter, but already really liking it. It's so much more than just a watt meter. Should of bought one a long time ago.
Can you fix my audio in problem. I have a 99n2 and audio out is perfect but now all the sudden I can't hear anything, when I turn the volume all the way up it sounds like I didn't turn it up at all

I run a MaCo V-5000 talks all over the country, I live in Oregon and talk to NYNY no problem. Anybody that talks radio knows NYC is hard to talk in to the city..

Can you adjust the frequency to the last khz digit? Like if I wanted to put the radio on 27.200 instead of 27.205, how do you do that?
