Great job Matt! You know how I love loud audio and that radio sounds great. And it's got all of that power right out of the box. Nice!

I just watched this again. It actually works perfect with a 4pill HG-2sc2879C box Set the dead key @ 200w and let it swing. Using a 1000 watt meter right now and it smokes it all the way over.

The 198 is definitely a mic that has to be held as close as you can get it to your mouth as possible to get good audio they are not nearly as forgiving as the 636 but even those need to be held somewhat close for the best performance the guys that try using the 198 or any other noise cancelling mic like a stock mic always sound like they are sitting on the other side of the vehicle talking in the background or like they have the mic gain turned down as low as it will go

Looks like the new finals are more closely matched than the regular low high power x9 finals are
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving and wishing you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

HP = can you hear me now? AUDIO. AUDIOO
OOOO... They are awesome radios. Quality control kickin' up a couple of notches. Good to see.
    Smilin', I'm off the key.

Man that’s a sweet radio. Nice clean power. I want one just wish it was full size to use the same mounting brackets as my other radios. It sounded like it had a stronger punch with the stock mic but the 198 ergos have really won me over. I like it better the the 636 ‘s I’ve been running for years.

    Lots of power, too.
If I was looking to put one in my truck, I’d consider one of these.

That's a really nice rig. I like the size of it. One could always add a heatsink if they really wanted to.
Have ya checked out the version 2 of the 5555n that one looks good to.
If your takin orders after the holidays I might send ya my grant to align for me.
Have a great Christmas and New years 🎄🎉

I have an rci 39vhp. Took it to a shop and everything is apparently perfect. But i can barely hear anything through the external or radio speaker. What could be the problem?

you and "Ground Control" you guys make great videos, and talk the same tech. very real, calm, and true. saving my pennies for the AnytOne5555 II+ ! .. are you putting and age limit on the radios we send in for repair?.. example some techs, wont allow older than 15 yrs old radios etc..
