- I have so much trouble finding workouts on youtube that are up to the difficulty I want. So I'm taking it on myself to make a series of fitnesses challenges so you guys can find super hard workouts to enjoy. We are starting this series out with abs.

That was intense, I ll start doing it 3 times/week and I ll come back to give an update on my progress
How did it go
@@jumprope5193 some weeks I wasn't as consistent and did it 2 times but it has worked well so far, I can do 2.5 cycles with a few minutes rest in between on a good day and on a bad day I can at least finish 1 cycle without having to stop in the middle.
aaand he never came back haha
@@aleksanderskachkov3571 well, I had university exams and minimized my training, now that I came back I changed my routine. This week I started doing 3 kickboxing sessions and 3 bjj sessions same days, 3 gym sessions and a 20 minute run. I hope I can keep it up, maybe I ll turn it down a bit because I sleep late and wake up tired. On the other hand it's fun and since I got the time this month I should take this chance. An update on the ab workout, it worked well and I saw results in both strentgh and endurance, especially endurance. I usually don't say too much about my life but I thought why not.

Good video, good workout. The one thing I think could improve videos like this quite a bit would be something like a preview image for the next exercise, so we know what to switch to without having to learn the routine by heart.

Core muscles most important muscle group for martial arts. No question. It's where all the power comes from and will help you absorb the most blows.
@@2North0Star6 it's where all power comes from? to get those core muscles from the Abs helps you to hit and kick harder? just a noob martial art traineer question
@@2North0Star6 I'd even go as far as saying that a strong core is a must for any type of athlete, because it provides a stable base for any sort of functional movement and allows you to correctly transfer and generate power through your other muscle groups. As a guy who's been struggling with back pain all his life, strengthening my core really improved my quality of life

I almost did the whole thing there were some awkward transition from workout to workout so I don’t really count it as the whole thing

Given this a go at work, going to keep documenting how long I can last for. Only made it 6 minutes this time XD
The Boulder’s coach does what we call 14-30’s. 14 exercises, 30 seconds each. Great for hitting the whole package, but would recommend step it up to 45s then 1min for a real challenge.

The worst and best thing is the absence of a timer. Teaches you not to look at the clock during a round.

Hey can anybody tell me the name of the ab drill at 2:07 I want to learn how to do it right I can’t tell from the video or I’m just fat but help me out and like if u don’t know either
I could almost do it, so this was perfect for me! My only problem with ab workouts is I never get DOMS the next day, so sometimes it feels like the muscle isn't really getting ripped and stronger, unless they just heal really fast?
Do Weighted variations, im like u but i just did cable ab crunches and it really hits my abs
I know what you mean, but what I've found works for me is to FOCUS on the exercise. Don't just go through the motions, do each rep in a controlled manner with full range of motion and really squeeze the abs, don't engage the hips or glutes which is an easy mistake to make if you're not paying attention. Lastly, don't forget to breathe! Breathe in and out with your diaphragm by engaging the core muscles, this makes a world of difference.
Thanks guys, the tips helped. I looked into DOMS and it comes mostly from the downswing portion of lifting so it’s no wonder abs is hard pressed to trigger that. Lack of DOMS doesn’t mean you’re not gaining strength either so that’s a relief

yes in combat sports u usually condition your abs too, in bodybuilding u just train them

30 seconds lmao I used to do 5 minutes on each exercise for a total of 30-45mins.
It was hilarious to watch people laying in front of massive puddles of their own sweat on the mats trying to find the will to continue. I will admit it's a bit much for most, but made me want to crush it and so I did.
I got a case not a cheesy 6 pack like all you bums 😂
I gave up like 38 seconds in champ. Honestly i gave up before you even started. I'm the next jake paul of combat sports 😂 the champ is here, the champ is here. 💪👊
