I went all the way back in 2002. Aside from the Greek food being superb, I remember having the best spaghetti I've ever eaten there.

Maybe for some of you looks strange but in Greece we don't eat filleting fish. We eat the whole thing. Grannies (yiayia) like to eat even the head. So If you order fish in a regular greek taverna don't be surprised by the whole fish in your plate. Yeah it's more easily to eat a filleting fish but I find Greek way more special.

You know it would help if you said the name of the restaurants you go to in the video and in the description. Plus names of dishes you ordered would help along with prices.
NO HALAL FOOD IN GREECE. MashAllah some good videos posted and some great food you’ve reviewed over the years. The dessert recommendations were banging, Visited them all and uff! Unfortunately, however, have to inform you and the others that Santorini and Greece for that matter doesn’t actually have any halal food. I visited the places mentioned in here (prior to picking where to eat) and as I was leaving one of them, an Albanian brother working at an adjacent restaurant accosted me and informed me there is absolutely no halal food in santorini. Even the restaurant where he works it states they serve halal food however he told me this is a lie to get customers in. I then contacted the halal food authority for Greece and the brother stated the above to me too; he also mentioned that all places that claim to serve ‘halal meat’ also sell pork and there is no way of them ensuring they don’t cross contaminate.
WHEN YOU TRAVEL, YOU EAT WHAT YOU FIND, NOT WHAT YOU WANT.SIMPLE.

I wonder if the fava lentils where from Santorini? If they were they are just the best from all Greece. Too bad you didn’t taste the local white eggplants in a food or as a salad. The same for white wine from the island. They are so renowned all over the world for their fine tastes.
This particular Fava beans grow in Santorini only.
They are unique in flavor n texture from other Fava in Greece.
So are the cherry tomatoes.
The soil in Santorini its the secret.
And it's licensed as well.
I cannot find the names of the restaurants anywhere in print. It's challenging to understand them when you're speaking.
The authentic way to eat Greek meze is with bread (ideally sourdough) not pitta... Pitta bread is only for souvlaki... It's a bit vile and definitely cheap that some Greek restaurants now serve pitta instead of bread..

I had the most amazing time in Santorini alot of seafood restaurants recommended by my hotel .... until the last night when we decided to go to Stamna due to this video . Biggest mistake of the holiday and the thing that stopped the trip from being perfect Stamna is your typical tourist trap . I should have seen the signs when approaching this place. When you have a guy standing outside trying to get customers to come in you know they are struggling for customers . Anyway ignored the signs only because of the recommendation by Heyman . The platter has hardly any meat and mostly bone but carefully placed to look like like a big plate of meat . €38 Euros sounds cheap but by the time your bill comes it ends being almost the same as a nice Greek restaurant with views of the Caldera. The charged €2 euros each as some kind of welcome because the guy is standing at the front . Also € 3 because we asked for some chilli sauce which was about 2 dessert spoons in a small dish . GUYS THERE IS NO HALAL FOOD IN SANTORINI , you need to accept that and enjoy the beautiful seafood on offer . BEWARE OF STAMNA and shame on heyman for recommending this place .

As salamu alaykum can all muslim be careful what they eat in santorini. They place has 0 mosque and no halal food i spoke with bengali and Pakistani workers they said no halal food they mix beef with haram meat. But they're trying to get halal food from Athens. Even non muslim have said no halal food. And that Chinese restaurant next to momo restaurant be careful they use the same cooking pan and spoons to cook food.
BRAVO ON NOT WEARING A FACE DIAPER.
