Going on 80, September of this year. Been listening to music since very young age, always been passionate about what I liked, been into all sorts, been to many concerts spanning jazz, folk, country, rock, blues, gospel, punk, metal, hip hop, funk, industrial, krautrock and what did I leave out? Never, ever have I wished to have been at this concert. I will look to when she and the rest of ensemble come to Chicago.
Sierra has an awesome voice that reminds ya of the days when our great-grandparents were listenin to the Grand old Opry on the radio, she sings, plays and writes her own music, a triple threat. 🌅
I'm completely blown away by how tight the band is behind her. And I love the jazz, Latin, swing and blues fills Josie and Joshua play in the background. Sierra never over sings. Her voice is like a virtuoso instrument in itself. And perfect pitch too! This concert is a keeper.

I do believe I will be interest in what the brits do when she gets there. As well as the rest of Europe. I fully expect that the brits will go nuts. I think she should also do an Australia and New Zealand trip as well.
@@artphot yeah i know. just wishful thinking... i saw her in nashville twice. she is a true talent. your videos reinforce that and, i'm sure, help to sell tickets....

@@englishorchard-haze4708 I agree and feel 2 ways about it. 1st. I thought it was wonderfully produced. A wide variety of styles that were drawn out of her songs, and they all fit great. The slick production allowed more complex takes of the tunes that we're used to hearing stripped down. BUT. (2nd) The more instruments and sound there is that isn't her voice, well...that's just more sound that's not her voice and ends up distracting from it. I think she's found a great balance now with the quartet AND the harmonies from Josie and Josh. It's a lovely blend of instrumentation and voice(s). I really think JT and Sierra's voices together are something special. There's a chemistry there as well and they've figured out the dynamics to let her voice shine. From what I seen lately it seems like she's incorporating some versions of just her and her guitar. She knows. The evolution of the group and the songs has been stunning. I could go on and on.... So glad I stumbled onto music and a musician that's real and true. It's inspiring hearing a person do what they were meant to do.
Here's one for you.. compare the comments from this show, April 2022. Or any show over a year ago for that matter. Fast forward to the comments in April 2023 and later. Something happened. Not necessarily for the better.
@@larsonclarke8257 you are a straight up Karen. It wasnt even a song, it was a crowd hype exercise. I’m just gonna tell you now, she’s my friend and she’s working with rappers, she plays metal songs, she’s making tracks with diplo, and you should respect her talent and her hustle and drive. Not like she cares what you think anyway.
She already has too many great songs for one show. So good. So so good.

She just keeps getting better. Same goes for the other performers. Great combination, hope they stay together for a while.
Another great performance by an incredible talent. Love Sierra ❤️

Fox Hunt.

Is this Georgia Parker standing in front of the stage at 29'36 ?
@artphot you got a favorite show?
Sierra Ferrell Concert at Zanzibar venue in Louisville Kentucky!
That 'Ya gotta build it up' part at about 14:30 into the video throws off the essence of the genre.
No Jeremiah?
Great gif otherwise
Sierra, you are a legend in the making. We love you ! So please no more ' Ya gotta build it up.' crossover genre bla-bla.
If you love what she does let her do her thing. She's gonna be working on all sorts of music, get used to it.
