What a Powerful Voice! What Rhythm! Sierra plays guitar like no other. What a tight band, mandolin player excels. Excellent writing, song structure, words, a savant.
Great songwriting, excellent musicianship, Sierra’s one of a kind voice,, and those perfect harmonies. Live performances don’t get any better than this!
DAMN! Great Show Artphot!!! Good job capturing it. You have some terrific shots of Sierra. She looks amazing, and she's even more confident that she was in Portland OR just 6 weeks before! She is growing by leaps and bounds.. AND GEOF SAUNDERS!!!!!!! Bam!!! What a way to round out the band. He had only joined the tour like 4 or 5 shows before I saw them. I knew he was good from seeing him play with the Mark O'Conner Family Band. He is adding a lot. Josie of course.... I am in love with her playing. And Josh holds it all together. What a joy to see this set!
Crowd is happy, cheering and sing along. The band is in a good mood. You manage to reproduce all the feelings, artphot! Video work ain't easy and you are doing well. What amazes me is the audio quality which is quite good through headphones.
Nils ,thank you for your well thought out comment about the concert, yes it requires intense concentration to capture subtle gestures of the individual musician’s performances.
@@paulmech3610Grateful Dead covered everything so if you liked them you like Country Music. Like you I only discovered Sierra a week ago (as I write this) and I'm listening to everything! Best new country artist I've seen come through since Gillian Welch nearly 30 years ago!
Sierra's voice is just exquisite, Josie is gorgeous and the boys are outstanding... I just wish they felt ready for a drummer; it would open up the sound! Cheers and continued success!
I'm not sure if you've heard some of the 'electric' versions of these songs, but I have to say: While drums are a fine idea, I don't think there should be anything else that could possibly distract from hearing her lovely, jewel of a voice. I think Josie and Josh have found a careful way to add to the sound without distracting her singing. The way they don't play is as important as what they do play, IMO. I've thought about drums or at least washboard too, then I always go back to the thought that as pure, simple and clean as the music can be the better.
@@bryanharrell4059 I'm just thinking that her songs are getting more sophisticated and she's getting more well known. She'll be playing bigger arenas soon; I think a minimalist kit would help her fill the bigger spaces. Even if it was just a snare and brushes.
Honestly, who needs a drummer when you already have such an asset in the upright bass player alone?! Dude is literally the entire rhythm section and then some with ZERO lag. Tell me I’m wrong.. #geoffsaunders FTW
Just watched a Grand Ole Opry clip. Sierra doing Made Like That with the house band. Please Sierra, never go on that show again. They sucked the life right out of you. You're so much better with your super hot quartet.

She's as good as it gets. Once in a generation talent.
I agree. Best new artist I've seen since Gillian Welch who sprung up approximately a generation previous

Man I love her music! She is such a great performer!
Thank you for all you do to bring Sierra's music to those of us who can't get to her. It is so appreciated.
Saw Sierra in Glasgow last night......tremendous gig .
sierra has quickly become my favorite artist. LOVE LOVE LOVE
I think she has the best voice out there.
Love Sierra Forreal and her band.

Yes thank you sorta sang me to sleep awe I was in massive pain I'll shh I'm listening to her now!!! Smiles to you
Hope you got better
So good !
Bet that Sierra prefers old upright bass for classic sound.
Cause she is a melody genius
that soulful singing is in her West Virginia blood.............and great musicians.....!
An Americana angel
Real Life Angel
The hardest working band in the biz.
I love the way Sierra looks at this concert: her hair is beautiful. But the sound quality is substandard. It sounds like they are out in a hallway!
Stumbled across Sierra about a week ago and I'm loving her. And I don't like Country music 😂😂😂
Then why do you like this?........It's almost country. More folk than anything though.
@@cornbobrimlove7892 I don't know, why do I like the Grateful Dead? Just a strange Yankee living in the mountains of West Virginia I suppose.
Same here I think listening to Dan Hicks when younger helps :)

Thank you so much! Love Sierra! Just saw this great video. Is there a part 2 that youve posted. Not seeing it

Come to UK (Birmingham UK)!
She should. They could all park at Widney Manor station and take the train into town.

I thought she did well but I know what you mean. I prefer the live organic Sierra!
You put an ad in the middle of this beautiful song? Put the ads in the beginning "art" phot.
Google places the adds in the video.
When was this performance? I love the singalong :)
David ,the concert was last night April 18th in Brooklyn,N.Y.C.

My home town! who is on bass?
Ellen,Geoff Saunders plays the Double Bass in this video.
This crowd would cheer even for them just for tuning their instruments.......easy crowd.
Yeah everybody knows NYC crowds are sooo easy. But a rimlover like you already is hep to that.
@@tankwipe Easy Crowd. Good for them.
Can you blame them when faced with something as good as this?
