At 68 one can listen to just so much 70's music. She is so refreshing. Her voice is captivating. The Lady GaGa of Americana. This coming from someone who has seen the spectrum live from Willie, Jerry Lee, Buffett, the Stones and on into the hazy fog of days of yesterday......Peace, Love, Dove.

Sierras music has a romantic feeling to it even though the lyrics are sometimes sad and sometimes playful. I just love the feel of her music, or better put, I love the way her music makes me feel when I listen to it. This was a really quick hour n a half... I want more, lol.
I'm so thankful to have stumbled upon a post of Sierra playing "Jeremiah" a few days ago on a Billy Strings fan page. I love the "old timey" sound and can't get enough of this music!
The chemestry, harmony and magic between the three of you is phenomenal and ads life to every song. Without doubt Sierra Ferrell and the Yard Bones is shooting up my chart of favorite bands.
I turned down the opportunity to see Pokey LaFarge at the Tivoli in Brisbane and my wife came home and told me there was this amazing woman supporting him. As she described the supporting artist, to my horror I had missed Sierra after having followed her online for ages. Will NOT miss her again.
Sorry to break it to ya old grizz . But your only chance is IN DREAMS. She said the BELLS OF EVERY CHAPEL ring for she and I. She told me baby HERE I AM . I can give you all the love you deserve and more. I will admit that I was going to marry her just to hear her voice till death do us part . But since she proclaimed all the other things I mentioned I mean sounds like a win win in my book . Killing two birds with one stone kinda thing. Waka Waka Waka!!!
such a great trio. nate is so rapt and poignant. audrey is has quality rhythm, constantly accommodating sierra and nate and keeping everyone together. and sierra is just a gem.
You can't beat real live music and these guys are Excellent, just like a breath of fresh air in what they sing and play, blessings from Dublin Ireland🎻🎶
sierra i think a great title for your new cd would be -ANOTHER TIME ANOTHER PLACE,,,,you always take me on a journey to somewhere else everytime i listen to you
Pardon my English, i'm writing this from the Netherlands far far away from the States. I've been following Sierra for a while and she really blew me away with her unique sound! Please keep up the good work making beautiful music for the world!
This Gal was supposed to be out here in SF at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass last October. She was still featured in the Virtual Video of performers. First time I had heard her. Hooked . . What a unique voice.
45:57 Such a pure, guileless sound. I prefer these versions to almost any of the other ones, even the vinyl LP. The last time a vocalist did this to me was Jeff Buckley, way back in 94. I hope she puts out 100 records, 20 live albums and 30 greatest hits albums.
Beautiful Sierra, one of many fine discoveries made at home in 2020. A generational talent. Many of her videos have commentators saying she should be on the radio. Disagree, she's too good for the garbage that is mainstream.
Your right. It's just hard to believe she isn't on the radio yet. She been working hard at this for a long while, like 10+ years. Still has roommates. I'm going to see her a few times in the next month at shows in Denver and Boise. Gonna buy merch to support her. Bout time the girl got paid I think is where a lot of people are at with her being on the radio. Sierra won't sell out. 🤞
What a refreshing, interesting group. First one to hold my attention through a complete performance. I love how she changes tempo in some songs. I hear so many artists in her voice and style, from Joan Baez to Jimmy Rodgers , to Amy Winehouse. Hope the Yardbones stay together a long time.

Sweet Sierra, I wish I could listen to you sing, without falling in love with you. But I guess I'm just made like that!

Great stuff. Music from the heart....well played! Nice interview segments & camera work. Top notch production! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The last song is one of the best things I've ever heard. Its like if Jesus was a woman from West Virginia. Orgasmic

I'm now a fan (old Dude from England.) Sierra's voice & style here is a little reminiscent of The Roaches from back in the 1980's.
Love the mandolin licks
I really like how the songs grow. Sierra, your voice is beautiful. I like the trio. The voices blend well.
can we talk about the fact that sierra and nate wrote "new west virginia waltz" when they were getting gas?!
❤❤❤
She is so talented
