From busking on the streets of New Orleans and Seattle to headlining the Ryman a few years later. This girl is the future of country music and more. Sensational!!
TY I loved every minute and especially how much fun Sierra had up there. She is such a sweetheart and I am elated that she is getting the recognition and love that she deserves. You are right. I will never get to the Ryman but because of you I was in tears by the end. I think everybody there that night had a BALL.
She is a generational artist. Unreal. It’ll be interesting to see if she’s country enough for those assholes in country music, or is the tattoo just too much for them???????? They’re going to be tested and I hope she breaks them.
A haunting voice that harkens Loretta Lynne, Hank Williams and a few others. Sierra has pure vocal talent as well as being a great songwriter. Thanks so much for posting.
So many highlights in this performance but what got me: Little Bird. Oh my, it pressed just about every emotional button. The vocal slides, the 2 violins, the actual bird whistle, and she always gets an A+ for audience participation. Astonishing.
@@GertieMusic This tape, AMONG THE MANY REMARKABLENESSESSESS therein, has captured the rare duet: Tim O'Brien and Sierra Ferrell singing Tim O'Brien's original song "The Garden" at 40:00 🙂
incredible video. A million thank yous. I felt like I was there and all because of you. LOVED every minute of this. I fell in love with Sierra here on You Tube and people like you are part of the reason. Thank you for doing what you do for people like me who could not be there at the Ryman. This video is a treasure.
The Ryman has been the shrine of Nashville forever and has moved and inspired audiences AND especially performers to create magical experiences that leave a special and precious memory of being there and being a part of a bit of music history. This show is a shining example of all of that- Sierra & co. stepped up to the occasion and delivered a show that will be talked about for quite some time- the guest appearances, costume changes, singalongs all in the finest Ryman/ Nashville tradition added up to ONE HELLUVA SHOW! Thanks for this document - glitches and sound dips are forgiven because you were there and this lets grateful fans everywhere share the experience. Thanks and blessings! ❤🙏
Forgot to add- the a capella encore of Good Night Irene- Sierra’s voice just ringing over the entire room singing along- with no microphones!! And without singing any harder than normal- that’s some set of pipes!
Sooo happy to see her getting more heard and heard…exactly what she was meant to do. Every time I hear her I feel so blessed, lucky, and excited every time! She feels like my spirit animal ❤ haha Love me some Sierra!!!
Thanks for posting this. I was at this show in the balcony right of stage. It's nice seeing it from this viewpoint. Fantastic concert! I can't wait to catch her performance in September at Bourbon and Beyond!
She’s definitely an exceptional talent harkening back to the good old days of fantastic old time country music with unmolested vocals through electronics. The backup musicians and vocals are top drawer too.👍👍🇨🇦
I saw Sierra a few years ago as the opening act at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano back before the pandemic.. You knew right away this was a special talent. Just surprised rewards are coming to her now, I thought it would be the last time she would play a small venue, that voice!
I think her albums are over recorded and produced and that may be her record companies fault more than her. She needs to be produced and recorded in more raw fashion. Agree her live is where she shines. Mind you she is in great company with that. The Grateful Dead were similar and like them with their hundreds of live recordings circulating we have a wonderful amount of live recordings of Sierra like this one on RUclips to watch and that's what really matters!
I felt that way about her first Rounder album, but not about er two self-produced albums or "Train of Flowers," which I find very beautiful, although her two Roman concerts are even greater because looking at her when she is singing, relating to the guys in the band and or to the live audience adds so much to the experience.
@@wrothmanabsolutely. I still find the live version of many of the songs on trail of flowers better than the recorded ones. In particular, fox hunt. The rawness is what was magic about it and it was still a bit over produced, though not like songs off long time coming. Honestly I didn’t like what sounded like a chorus chanting in the background in many of her songs, like fox hunt and I can drive you crazy. In long time coming there was a lot of chorus too, like in West Virginia waltz. That and what sounded like a marching band together didn’t vibe with me. I feel like they were trying to make it so perfect and threw instruments in when it was completely unnecessary, and made many of her songs dull. When she’s on stage and it’s not about perfection, that’s when it truly comes out perfect in my opinion.
She is jaw dropping great. By the way, this video is excellent but you seem to be missing the first three tunes. Any chance you have them and could repost the complete show? Thanks!
@alfsmith4936 Josie's fantastic, too. Hope Josie and Sierra can collaborate again one fine day! Josie's unique under-current, counterpoint fiddle, and her solos? XLNT! Oliver's great in his way, but Josie's perfect high singing harmony can't be duplicated by the fellows :-( and I'm a big fan of the fellows harmonies. Missing Josie on West Virginia Waltz though
I just listened to Ralph Stanley sing this and I am sorry but Sierra is hands down, way better. She kills this song and every cover to sings. The lady is a Bonafied Star.
That is Billy Contreras🎶🤘 I am learning the names of the band members as well. Tried to get them all in at the end. There is credits rolling at the end if you want to see the names of the band members❤ I will try to add more as I learn who they are :)❤🎶🤘

Many thanks for posting. We were at both shows...3/21 song list was spectacular.
You're welcome! I know right!❤🎶🤘

Its so grateful I got to be at this show and Sierra be the artist I saw for my first visit at The Ryman.
She’s great! This band has entered a whole new level of entertainment
And a whole new level of art.

looks like next-level stuff here. well done. it has been amazing seeing her journey here on yt these past few years ...
Thank you for sharing this! What a gift!
Ms. Ferrell's vocals, song writing & stagecraft A+. Have watched this many times. Beyond terrific!
I looked for her cover of the garden for like 20 hours!! I LOVE her voice, but moreso in this song even. Amazing.
Thanks for sharing
Fantastic, thank you so much. Saw her in Monterey, California earlier in the tour, changed my life. What a wonderful woman, a gift to us all.
Steve!

A true artist. What a talent, delight and what a presence! ❤
what a story she is living with each new chapter of her musical success...I imagine this is what reincarnated Dolly Parton would be like....
Way different vibe at this show. Great set list, wardrobe. Wednesday night crowd was more rowdy. Love her.
Her recorded stuff NEEDS to be recorded live. I feel like she must get all in her head when she sees that little red button

one in a life time....
❤❤❤❤
Superstar
timeless, past present future
Wish they keep the additional fiddle player and the banjo player. Sounds great.
Bring back Josie Toney!!
@@alfsmith4936 Josie played across the street at the arena at the same time as this show with Dan & Shay.

We were there on Wed, right up front. Great shows, I liked Wed a little more as Nikki was there.
I would love to hear her perform with Andrew Bird.
Love this girl ❤
Goodnight Irene: 1:38:05 :)
little bird: 10:32 :))
Anyone know the names of the supporting band members?
I believe that is billy contreras in the black hat

Thank you for posting. This gal is a breath of fresh air, what a voice and stage presence.
Thanks for posting! What incredible talented singer/songwriter and fantastic band.
Also, what was the last name of Jimbo the guest?
Wish she would still play guitar
Song at 09:15?
Redwood Hill. A Gordon Lightfoot cover.
Is that Tim O Brian ?
Yes❤
She’d be amazing with Colter Wall!
Ferrell es siempre como un sol resplandeciente.
