Hello solar scooters company I've just bought a P1 great scooter by the way. I'm just confused why there is a dual motor and single motor option when it's not recommended due to strain engine. But boy oh boy what a machine. Love it
@@SolarScootersuk thanks for the quick reply. I've got one Final question. If I'm in Eco or on low mode it kinda whines on a hill unless I engage higher gears or dual motor so does that whine affect the motor in a bad WAY.
Because you actually use dual motor for climbing steep hills and things and where your up to speed cruising comfortably on a flat or a downhill you put it in single motor and it'll use less power so your saving energy
Great vid as always. Might be a silly question because I don’t think many people would take a £900+ scooter out in the rain but how water resistant is the p1 and can The scooter honestly do up to 30 miles.
Jermaine Martin Hey Jermaine, Thanks for the positive feedback! No not at all a silly question, the P1 can be ridden in *light* rain, but we do not recommend anything more than this, as water could make it’s way into some electrical components. They are sealed, but not rated therefore we do not recommend! In terms of range, 30 miles is absolutely possible, but like with all vehicles there are many factors that can affect this: Weight, Riding Style, Wind, Temperature, Inclines and so on! Hope that helps?

Is it possible to have regeneration braking activated from brake levers so coasting is still possible. Regeneration is pretty inefficient so I wonder if coasting is a better use of the energy on a slight down hill etc.
Regen braking is only activated when brake levers are pulled slightly😊 harder pulls on the brakes activates regen and disk brakes. So you can coast, have regen, or both regen and disk brakes if you wish. Hope that helps?

Is there warranty on this scooter how long for. How long will I get out of the lifespan of the battery before it needs changing. Also is parts available for this scooter. How does the scooter handle light to medium hills.
Hi, thanks for getting in touch... so! 1) Solar P1 comes with a standard UK warranty, details can be found on our website 2) Our scooters have lasted so long we can’t actually give an answer as to how long they will last. Except from a very long time. 3) Parts and upgrades are available on our website 4) Scooter has 2400w output with AWD meaning it can handle very steep hills and inclines, even off road. Hope that helps!

does improper handlebar height cause wobble or foot position too far forward i do the foot on fender other foot straight forward and over 25 sometimes get wobble i dont know if thats bodyweight over handlebars because they are on max height or having foot too far forward. i am a heavy rider though

Hi, my rear motor just jolts back and forth upon revving. Front motor is fine. Fuse, wires, parameters all look ok. Anyone come across this issue? many thanks
Is this scooter smooth on rough roads?? I have cheap scooter and it’s rough and bumpy as hell. I’m hoping this is better. If someone can let me know how smooth it is, I’ll buy right away. Also, is the seat comfortable??
Yes sometimes the handlebars do wobble but this is fixable by collapsing the handlebars you'll see a tiny Allen bolt take this out put in a small nylon washer and no more shaky handlebars. Apart from that this is a beast.. I looked at other scooters and what others had to say about performance and in the end after roughly 2 months I opted for the solar and I'm glad I did ...As I said earlier its a beast . You won't be disappointed especially with the fast launch ....
@@kassemsaid8686 I actually bought it but had to send it back and I’m kinda glad. I ended up going with HITWAY. Extremely similar build to p1 but main difference is that p1 does 40mph and my so does 26mph and the HITWAY only costed me £414. Best value scooter in my eyes. 10inch air tyres, wide foot deck. Front and rear disc brakes, dual front and rear suspension, eye throttle, key ignition, only 20kg and it rides really smooth and I feel around 20-25mph is perfect speed.
i'd be interested to know how many miles on average a battery is good for before it needs replacing, if anyone knows that yet and how much a new bat would be?

Once it's up to speed it's fine it's just getting there on low power or heavy baggage that Solero isn't happy.
@@laxlax9960 no it doesn’t affect it in a bad way, it’s just struggling. But it doesn’t have a negative affect on it
