im probably riding this this year, and its one of those rides that i had absolutely no idea what to expect, so i will definitely use this review to help set some expectations
wow there’s certainly a play on words w the title of this coaster...while i’m a fan of “the Big Bad Wolf” being my fav coaster from my trip back in ‘93 or so (my only trip so far there). Since it’s in the Germany/Black Forrest area of the park and is supposedly interpreted aurally as “forbidden” (in German) the spelling is in Dutch w it being “Verbolten” instead of “Verboten” meaning embarrassed, which is something I never knew, usually words that are similar in German to Dutch should mean just about the same thing despite a slight difference spelling. This ride would have to be really amazing to beat The Big Bad Wolf. that ride was truly amazing, the flow, the speed and the near misses with the ending drop and helix were just superb. I dont have tons of credits but i’ve ridden a decent amount of coasters and Big Bad Wolf will always be a favorite, even over many newer coasters.

This is accurate lmao. Except the worst coaster at universal is the woody woodpecker kiddie coaster, and I have not ridden merlins mayhem.
