Hi Jada, you are awesome teacher. The way you talk make me want to crochê a hat just like yours because I could follow your instructions. I am an 73 years old retired grandma and preparing gifts for al my children and grandchildren. I have 6 children adults and 8 grandchildren. I have to hurry up for Christmas!! Thank you.
I love all your gadgets, the scissors, the tape, the needle. I appreciate how you demo'd threading the tail. VERY helpful. Thank you for your upbeat, fun tutorials that make crochet fun and do'able.
Jayda is amazing! She has taught me the bobbel and chevron stitch. She is so patient, fun and creative. I love that she goes slow and shows projects from start to finish! I cannot say enough about what an awesome teacher she is. I am so excited to be learning from her.
Thank you for providing these tutorials. I haven't crocheted since high school (I'm now 61!) However, I've been making hats for cancer patients now with your help! 💖
I used to crochet in my teens. Want to go back to the craft. Love your channel. You're a great instructor. The zoom in while you are crocheting is awesome 🙏
Hi Jayda and hello lovely Canada. My daughter is in Maryland where it is nice and cold so I made her this hat. She loves it. I would like to attach a picture but cannot figure out how to. I am starting on another tonight. For a cousin who lives in the Smoky Mountains, also cold. This one is wool. Thank you again.

Jayda, I love the way you teach. You really help me understand the work and you are so clear and fun to listen to! And thank you for not having any weird background music! 😊
Hi Jayda, I have followed your tutorials for a long time and made lots of successful hats and loads of other things including a doughnut recently. You are such a good teacher, you always inspire me. I see mass produced wooly hats for really low prices in chain stores in the U K that look lovely and are cheaper than a ball of wool and I could just buy one. I would then miss out on choosing my wool, investing my time and creating a lovely item to wear or give away. Sending you a big genuine thank you
I haven’t crochet sense my grandmother passed in 07 and I never knew many patterns.but this by far was the easiest and simplest tutorial ever!!! Thank you I’m learning a new pattern and learned how to make my first hat ❤️❤️ I love it thank you
Hello , I have just finished making this hat in a violet colour, it’s really lovely, thanks for sharing . I plan to give this beanie to my next door neighbour .😊
Bean stitch? Hmmm? I've never tried to crochet this stitch,w/your great help, I'm sure I will make this hat! Appreciation to you & Mr. Stitches! Hugs to you both.
Hi Sondra! I love the texture it creates, and with a little practice (we have to loosen up our tension a little for all those loops) you can move along at a quick clip - something else I love!
Thank you Jayda! You kindled my love for crocheting again. My mom taught me and now that she's gone I feel like a part of her is still with me. Thanks to you I have been able to keep all my friends comfy and cozy with all your tutorials.
It was my lucky day when I found Jayda. I am 72 years old from Scotland. I have never crocheted before but during our first ĺockdown last March I was looking for something to do. I thought I would attempt to crochet. After looking in you-tube I came across Jayda. She is a wonderful teacher and after a few disasters I was able to produce my first granny square and since then I have crocheted 7 blankets and 6 beanie hats. Thank you Jayda for your informative step by step tutorial. I even managed to make 4 of your Santa pillows. Thank you so much. Eileen.
Wow... I had tried a beanie hat for my newborn around 7 yrs ago but found it so hard tht am scared of hat after that! Your video makes it look so easy and I m going to try making this one. You've explained it so well and in an easy to follow way.... yay!! Thanks so much
Jayda has taught me my FIRST crochet ever. I’ve had 2 people try to tech me, got sooo frustrated so I forgot it but a recent major surgery had me physically sidelined for 3 months so I binge watched a lot crochet tutorials and Jaydas’ was the one I could understand.... so I’ve made my first two granny squares and I am HOOKED, I’ve bought yarn and hooks now I’m OBSESSED 🤩....My plan is to make granny squares with the 8 skeins of yarn I got, turn it into a blanket them move on to other projects...but this hat and how good Jayda explained has given me confidence that now I can do it!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH JAYDA.....
I made this hat tonight !!! First time and it was so easy. I made the rim a bit wider and used a chunkier wool. Going to make another on in green tomorrow. Thank you for making it easy to follow.

Just finished this hat. The stitch is so easy. I used #6 yarn turned out kinda big even with less rows lol. I think I will make another with regular size #4 yarn and see how it turns out. Have a great weekend, jlee x
Hi Jlee :) Yes, the bulky or size 6 is just a bit bigger than the chunky, and would definitely create a bigger (howbeit warmer!) hat :) The size 4 will work too, maybe with a 6.00 mm hook :)
Hi Reta! This stitch takes a little getting used to at first, I found that keeping my tension loose and also trying to make the loops a little bigger helped a lot :)
